Unfortunately due to a positive PCR test this sit had to be cancelled at the last minute. James contacted me straightaway, he forwarded the results of the PCR test to me. I really appreciate his prompt communication and the lengths he went to to keep me informed and that is what my review is based on. I wish him a speedy recovery and I hope that I will get to meet them and care for Archie another time.
Louise & Patrick did everything possible to ensure we had a pleasant, stress-free sit. Their home is comfortable and peaceful, with walks for their two sweet dogs, Tiff & Bo (who were a delight to look after) direct from the gate. A village shop is within convenient walking distance and supplies most necessities. For anyone wishing to go further afield, historic Chester is easily reachable via a 20 minute bus or car journey. We'd have no hesitation in returning for a future sit or providing a recommendation for other sitters, Patrick and Louise are a charming couple and we'd like to thank them for a lovely house sit. Greatly recommended.
Matt & Alessandra were great to sit for! Gigi is a wonderful pup. She loves to play and be pet. She’ll definitely tell you you how she feels and what she wants to do. When she wants to go out, she taps the door and if she wants a snack she taps on her food bin. Make sure you give her your full attention and engage with her. She really loves communicating with you. Jack and Gino have their own personalities as well. They will enjoy having you spend some time with them. Matt and Alessandra’s home was very beautiful and easy to take care of. The neighborhood is incredibly gorgeous and there are shops and entertainment nearby. I would sit for them again and definitely recommend them!
House and pet sitting for Stephen and Sinead, was an absolute delight! This charming young couple lives in the picturesque Wexford countryside, five minutes from Enniscorthy, in their beautiful Georgian Manor house on 7 acres of land. They are in the process of a long renovation project on their home and gardens and what they have accomplished so far, is highly commendable. We love Georgian architecture and spending time in their tastefully decorated home made us feel as though we had stepped back in time into the pages of a Jane Austen novel! Communication throughout was excellent. We met Stephen on a WhatsApp chat and he explained most of what we needed to know to enable us do the sit. Sinead welcomed us with a big smile and open arms to their beautiful home upon our arrival and introduced us to Billy and Buster, their two adorable pooches and then walked us through the house and explained in detail what we needed to know to take care of their property and in addition, left typed instructions with colour photos of all the appliances and the heating system. Sinead generously offered us the use of any items in the fridge. The completed areas of the home available for use were spotlessly clean, the bed was freshly made and clean towels were available. Billy and Buster are loving, healthy and very well-behaved pets. The pooches took us for walks through the gardens, showed us their favourite spots, played fetch and enjoyed rubs and cuddled with us on the sofa. It was such a joy to take care of them.
