This was one of our most enjoyable sits. Andy & Debbie are very caring, genuine, creative people who welcomed us into their home as family. They went out of their way to make our arrival and departure hassle free by collecting and dropping us at the train station. We enjoyed their garden produce of vegetables, fruit trees and herbs and shared many delicious meals created by Seth, as well as ideas on recipes, buying organic in bulk, usage of spices to enjoyable life conversations over Andys chai latte. Casa de Daisy is airy, light filled and very comfortable with rural & garden views. MOUSE, their adorable cat has a gentle soul and is a wonderful companion. The village is authentic, rural Portuguese with lovely walks from the door and opportunities to meet/chat with/greet local people. Nearby is a beautiful forest of ancient trees and spa town and further afield the university town of Coimbre. We left this house sit with our lives enriched through the interesting conversations, sharing of values and insight into another way of living a simple, creative, rewarding & contented life.
