We had the pleasure of completing a one month house-sit experience in Edgebaston, Birmingham, looking after Keiko and Frodo. Keiko and Frodo were very nice to care for. Keiko is gentle and easy to look after, while Frodo is incredibly affectionate. The house is well-located, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. Our host, Karen, was very understanding and made sure we felt at home. It was a great experience with fantastic pets, a comfortable home, and helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend!
Andrea and Dave are great people with great pets! Their home is very warm and cozy. Their pets are sweet and very easy to get along with. Mulva is easy to walk and fun to spend time with inside. The cats are sweet too, especially when you pet them and show them love. Home is also very close to everything you would need, including beautiful outdoor spaces for leisure. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic time with Bolt, Thunder and Lightning. Bolt was a little wary at first when just my husband and I picked him up from daycare. Once we got to the house and he met the kids he softened right up. I imagined him thinking, "Well, they have puppies so they can't be bad guys." Lightning was pretty shy. We didn't see him much but he was happy to hang out with the kids in the bedrooms. Thunder is a snuggle bug, loves to lounge across your shoulders. Bolt is a super smart pup. He was great in the car and a perfect companion to our adventures. He is hilarious with his "sideye" looks and he pays attention to everything. If you want to play a game, say Monopoly, he wants to play too, so expect a big sweet puppy in the middle of it all. The house was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed this sit and would happily do it again!
Noel is a wonderful person and host and i felt welcomed the moment i arrived. Communication was always super easy. Juno was a good companion to snuggle with next to the cozy fireplace. The house is absolutely spacious, the views breathtaking and it is only a few kilometers to Cork and Ballincollig. I can recommend Noel and his place to anyone who wants to explore the area around Cork and i will be back soon 😍
We really enjoyed our time in Lithgow caring for Findlay. He is a sweet boy who loves exploring the garden while wearing his harness and lead. He is social and loved being with us, especially keen for cuddles when we would watch a movie in the evening. On cold days we would often find him curled up in a sunny nook or in front of the fireplace. John and Erica were communicative and helpful, leaving thorough details for us and answering swiftly if any questions arose. We appreciated their warm hospitality, providing us with a lovely welcome, with maps and lots of local insights. Their home and garden are tranquil and lovely, with a beautiful outlook. We really enjoyed meeting you both - thank you for choosing us to take care of Findlay!
This sit was definitely one of our favourites so far. Communication with Antonia, prior to and during the sit,was excellent. The house and grounds are beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable! The dogs were a delight to look after and we would absolutely recommend this sit to anyone that loves labradors and a beautiful home set in a quintessentially English landscape. We would love to go back again soon.

I can't say enough about how fantastic 4 Paws Only is! Their day camp and boarding services are exceptional—our pup always comes home happy and exhausted from all the fun activities. The staff truly goes above and beyond, treating our dog with such care and attention. It's clear not only by the interactions of the staff happily talking to our puppy, Gino, and recognizing him almost immediately whenever he comes, but through their camera access we have that they genuinely love and enjoy spending time with him. Some shoutouts, and I’m sure I’m missing others, but thank you Brianna, Joe, Marisa, and Andrew for being so awesome! One of the highlights is their ability to host parties for birthdays and holidays. The festive celebrations are always well-organized and include special treats and activities, making every event memorable for both dogs and their owners. Overall, the business has exceeded all our expectations, providing a safe, enjoyable, and loving environment for our furry friend. Highly recommended!
4 paws is amazing. My dog has been there since opening day. He loves going. The place is immaculate. The staff is professional and courteous. They go above and beyond. I was there one day and heard a staff member say no worries I’ll open early for you. The dogs are treated liked spoiled babies. They come first. When my dog had a procedure he received get well treats. They also are up to date on all vaccines. I highly recommend 4 paws. Such a relief to me knowing Drake is having fun and most importantly safe.
My dog is OBSESSED with coming here. The Holiday and Birthday photo shoots Brianna sets up are so cute! I’ll never know how they get my crazy Pomsky to sit for photos, but they do. All of the employees are so amazing with the dogs. It’s such a sense of relief to know my dog is safe and well taken care of for daycare and boarding. 10/10 reccomend.
Wish I could leave this place 10 stars!!! By far one of the best doggy day cares on Staten Island! The staff is great, the place is clean, and the owners immense love for dogs shows me how much I can trust that my dogs are in good hands when they go. I love how creative the owner is with all the new ideas she comes up with to have for our pups. I love getting pictures of them when they’re there for the themed events. I never have to worry how my dogs are being treated or what’s going on because I can just jump on the cameras & watch for myself. I truly have nothing but good things to say about this place. I wish I could send them everyday because they love it so much. It takes them TWO days to recover after playing all day over there it knocks them out. We love 4 Pawz & the owner Ashley. We’ll keep our fingers (& paws) crossed that they open a second location mid shore.
Would never leave my dog here. Dogs are left outside all day with one person playing music not paying attention. Dogs can be heard fighting each other, barking uncontrollably and the “attendant” just yelling at them. Shocking to say the least. (Update to reply to Owner) Please ask your “attendant” that was wearing the Spider-Man hat yesterday (10/7/24) from approximately 10am through 12pm about his morning with the dogs. And how he allowed multiple dogs to fight one another while he played music in an attempt to drown out the noise. Anyone whose dog was left during that time should request the footage from you. Be a responsible owner and have some accountability. My review excludes other firsthand accounts about the dysfunction within your walls in an attempt to protect them from you (since you searched mine and my family’s social media to learn more about me). This is just sad at this point to edit again (10/18/24). The owner has contacted two of my family members to take this review down and accused me of stalking and harassing. I do not have to be a customer to have eyes and ears and witness problems on two separate occasions in the short span of about 8 days. I went into the store to speak with the owner about addressing these issues and instead she kicked me out. Her update review focuses more on attendant playing music instead of the actual issue of dogs fighting one another. I hope going forward the owner addresses these issues and separates dogs in conflict with one another. I only hope for the success and improvement of this place. I just wish they showed accountability instead of denial and mudslinging.
We love 4 Paws Only!! I’ve been sending my puppy there for months and she loves it! They provide a safe and fun environment that my pup never wants to leave! We had to take a 6 week break to recover from an at-home injury and my pup really missed it. She started acting out (chewing our clothes, pillows, etc. dragging on walks, being fresh…) so when we got the clear, we went right back to 4 Paws! After LITERALLY ONE DAY of being back, her behavoir has calmed down tremendously! She is always so happy to see all of the staff when I drop her off and being able to check in on her on the cameras keeps meat ease that she is in good hands. They also throw the CUTEST birthday parties and events for the dogs! We love 4 Paws Only!!
4 Paws Only is absolutely the BEST! This is the only place I feel comfortable leaving my puppy Dexter. We use their daycare, grooming, and boarding services. All of the staff is very supportive and understanding of my needs as well as my puppy. In the beginning Dexter did not like to be separated from us and now he gets excited to go to day care at 4 Paws Only. He loves to socialize with other dogs and we get to watch him either by camera access or social media postings. He is exhausted by the end of the day and literally sleeps like a baby when he comes home. The owners and staff are absolutely amazing and they have created a happy and safe place for our fur baby.
I was very pleased with my experience at 4 paws. This business is very professionally managed and extremely clean. I was most concerned about my dog being caged and very happy to learn that it is a cage free establishment. Bobby gave my Havanese a beautiful and breed appropriate grooming. Absolutely love 4paws! We trust them with our furbaby for day care & grooming. The groomer bobby is amazing always cuts her exactly how we want. The day care is absolutely amazing, she burns alot of energy there. The staff is so friendly and the owner ashley is amazing. She always answers us and gives us updates of how Stella is doing throughout the day. Also they have the best events for our furrbabies, they come home with cute arts and crafts and photos for our fridge!
My baby Dash had the most amazing experience with Bobby. He took his time making him comfortable before taking him in the back to groom him. The staff was super kind and I felt like I was leaving him in great hands. His haircut was exactly what I asked for my little teddy bear. I highly recommend 4 Paws only
My family have been boarding our dogs here for at least 30 years. The staff is amazing. It's a loving and caring environment.Each dog is cared for with love and according to their individual needs. The vets are on the same premises. The place is spotless and inviting. Each animal has it's own private living area there is no communal play area. This is a second home for my pets when I go on vacation. My Daisy loves Denise the manager we tell Daisy that she's going to stay with her Aunt Denise and she gets excited. I can know with confidence she is being taken care of with the same love and compassion I give her at home,
Richmond Boarding and Grooming is the only place I board my Boxer Rocky. It is spotless & spacious .I rest assure that he is healthy , safe , as they have their own individual runs, and clean when he goes home! (There is no communal play area as one person noted.That is incorrect) They have great drop off and pick up hours. Most importantly... they care. Your dog is like their own. With their professional and experienced Staff and Veterinarians on the premises... you have the whole package! I highly recommend Richmond Boarding and grooming if you want peace of mind while you are away!!!!
Went to check out the place to see if I would even leave my dogs - DEFINITELY NO! As soon as I walked in to the back area for the tour I was hit with an awful stench. I have been to boarding kennels before but none smelled as bad - combination of days old urine and poop. The runs were small and their indoor/outdoor area was a room that they opened doors and windows. Not a good first impression which means I won't be using this place.
My dogs are my children. There is nothing more difficult than having to board a pet when I need to travel. The ONLY place I would ever kennel my dogs is Richmond Boarding. For the last three decades and with three precious dogs, this kennel has taken loving care of all of them. The manager, DENISE, is the third parent to my canine kids and we trust them to be pampered while she watches them. Please go here.

Who ever answered the phone when calling to get information was extremely nasty. She answered like I was bothering her. Would not want to leave my pets there

We are so glad we found Paws and Claws. Suzanne is amazing. In the past, we had always had our friend care for our two cats and our house while we were away. When he became unavailable, we were concerned about finding the right person to trust with our kitties and our home. After much research, we decided to give Suzanne a try. We are so glad we did! Upon meeting Suzanne, we were instantly at ease with her. She is an obvious animal lover, and our cats took to her immediately. She has a wonderful personality which made us feel very comfortable entrusting her to take care of everything while we were gone. Suzanne fed, watered, and scooped the cats, of course, but she will also take care of any messes they may leave (hairballs, etc.), will administer medicine, if needed (we didn't, but of could in the future), and spends time playing with them. We wanted our cats to be cared for, of course, but we also wanted someone who would give them some love and affection while we were gone. Each day, Suzanne texted us with a photo of the cats and an update. It was very reassuring to know, and see, that they were doing well. Beyond the cats, Suzanne took in our mail, watered our plants, and took care of a few minor things we had forgotten to do when we left for our vacation. She is organized, thorough, and reliable. Before we found Suzanne, we were very nervous trusting a "stranger" in our home and giving them full access when we were away. We couldn't have made a better choice with Suzanne, and we know we will be relying on her in the future.
My life is enriched by having Paws & Claws Superb Pet Care in it. The owner Suzanne is so kind and amazing and Amy is one of the most caring, sweet and dependable people I know. Amy loves our pets as if they are her own, always remembering all of their likes. She goes above and beyond altering schedules and making last minute accommodations to meet our needs, helping to clean up messes, dispensing medications, feeding by hand, baking special cookies for her birthday, giving extra cuddles and has truly become like a family member. Our Annie loves her and I too developed a special bond with Amy and I honestly don’t think I could ever feel so comfortable with or entrust my fur baby to anyone else.
Suzanne has taken amazing care of my dogs over the years. We’ve been using her for at least 10 years now and I know that I can trust her. You can tell she truly loves the pets she cares for and the pets love her back. Highly recommend!

Paw and Claws is amazing. My dog Horton is a delicate special needs chihuahua who requires a lot of attention. Suzanne and her sweet helpers go above and beyond to make sure that he's taken care of and given the attention that he deserves. I am never worried about him when I'm at work because I know that Paws and Claws will be there soon. They also doted on my late magical tabby, Frankie, and they grieved with me when I lost him. They are lovely people. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

We just had a wonderful first experience with Paws and Claws Superb Pet Care, Suzanne was incredible with our 2 older and quirky dogs. She is reliable, very attentive to ours and our dogs needs, loving to the dogs and extremely trustworthy. All of our directions were followed perfectly and we received a text and picture update every time she visited which was great and very comforting. Even when an unexpected situation came up Suzanne handled it perfectly, calmly, and professionally. I can’t say enough great things about her, we look forward to calling her for all future dog sitting and I will definitely recommend her to friends.
Esther and Udi are the best!!! I recently adopted Lily and was nervous about how she would react to going to doggy day care after being returned twice to a shelter :( I work a lot and I feel at ease knowing that Lily is well taken care of and that she is spending the time that I’m at work with all of her friends. Lily is always happy to see them during drop off! Esther is great at communicating and she always sends me pics of my crazy girl. Pet getaway is the best!! They have also taken care of Lily when I’ve been out of town and knowing she’s in good hands is the best feeling. So thankful to have them in my area.
What a true gift Esther and Udi are! I had to leave my 2 dogs, Max and Clyde, at their first ever boarding experience for one week and The Pet Getaway made it such a smooth experience. Their care and gentleness with my little ones was immediately apparent. I loved how communicative they were and how naturally they connected with Max and Clyde. I cannot sing their praises enough- I am beyond thrilled with the care and attention (and love!) our dog Marty revived during his week-long stay. From the timely updates via text messages to the most adorable pics sent on a daily basis that assured me that Marty wasn’t merely being boarded, but rather, ADORED, truly put me at ease while I was out of town. Lastly- he made some furry new friends as well! All my pet mama guilt for boarding my dog vanished away; if anything, I knew I had given Marty a wonderful week of being cared for at the highest level. 🐶❤️
Esther and Udi, are so amazing with our dog Dougie. He’s always so happy to see them and comes home so happy and exhausted when he’s there. They’re so attentive and always send hilarious videos and pictures of Dougie. He has stayed for the afternoon and/or evening and also for several days when we’ve gone out of town. It’s so great that I just know he’s in wonderful hands when he’s there, which makes being on vacation so much more relaxing.
The Pet Getaway is genuinely amazing. We moved to the neighborhood in need of doggy daycare and the occasional cat visits, and we are so grateful for having found them. They truly are the best. My dog loves them and comes home happy every time she gets back from daycare. I couldn’t ask for a better place to trust with my fur babies. Highly recommended!
We've had our dog for 10 years and this is our favorite place we've ever used for boarding! They are very responsive and easy to communicate with. More importantly, they take extremely good care of our dog and really care about his overall well-being. It's so nice to have some peace of mind when we're away because we know he is in the best hands. Our dog gets excited whenever he gets to stay here since he has such a good time. Highly recommend!

The location is super far from my house, but the service is the best that we have ever had. I will definitely use them again. Cookie was truly cared for🤗
Vito LOVES going to day care and as a puppy I think it’s been really good for his social development. Having hired random people off rover.com I can say that Esther and Ari are the only people I’ve actually felt 100% ok leaving Vito with. They send great update photos throughout the day and Vito always rushes to greet them when I drop him off so I know he loves it.
The Pet Getaway is the best place to leave your dog in Brooklyn. They take phenomenal care of your dog, and are a much better option than a big kennel. Your dog receives genuine care- is not in a cage, and receives frequent walks and playtime. I couldn’t be happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their dog while away. They even send you regular photo updates while you’re away which always puts you at ease. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for them as a frequent traveler. I feel like my dog Ollie is getting a vacation of his own.
About a year ago, our old dog sitter cancelled last minute and Esther came to the rescue! On first meeting, Scout was immediately comfortable (maybe too comfortable lol). Since then, we trust Esther every time we need someone to watch him. She treats Scout like her own and he is so happy to see her every time we drop him off! Would recommend to anyone.
Can’t say enough good things!! My puppy Sugar Gurl is 8 months old and has a lot of energy. Just went on vacation and needed doggie day care daily. Maggie’s is absolutely perfect!! My dog was so excited the second we got to the house and was sad to leave. The prices are reasonable and Maggie is so friendly. I get pictures and videos throughout the day, and communication her is fantastic. Maggie also has extensive impressive credentials. Highly recommend!! I know it can be sad leaving your pet with someone but it’s easier when you know they’re happy to be there! Love them!!
My dog Mamba loves going to Maggie's and spending time with her and all his friends! Maggie is great with my dog who is very high energy. I trust her with him and feel at ease when she is watching him when I am away. Last week was his birthday and I sent him to Maggie's for the day, and she took photos of him for me wearing the cutest birthday hat and gave him a goodie bag with lots of treats. Every time I pull up to Maggie's house, my dog is super excited and can't wait to go inside. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough positive things about Maggie!! She’s fantastic with all kinds of dogs (I have a blue nose pit). She treats all the dogs with the individual attention they need. She’s professional, responsive and reliable. Maggie’s did an initial interview with our pup to make sure he mixes well, which I appreciated. My fur kid sees Maggie 1-2x/a week for daycare. We’ve also used Maggie’s boarding services when my husband and I have traveled, and Boston feels right at home. Maggie has been our sitter over a year, and I highly recommend you trust her with your fur baby!
Maggie is amazing! Being a new dog mom I had a lot of anxiety leaving our puppy for the first time during a family vacation. I knew from our meet and greet with Maggie our puppy would be in great hands. Maggie is extremely organized, knowledgeable, professional and loving to her pups! She has thought of everything! Boarding was so simple and stress free with her. We received updates while away and Maggie even did a little Easter photo shoot with our puppy. We will definitely be using Maggie again for our next vacation!
We can’t rave enough about our stay. Our boys are polar opposite brothers & had wonderful care during their stay. Dino is a 130lb Bernese Mountain Dog & TeddyBear is a 40lb Keeshond both came home happy & by the updates & photos from Maggie life was good while we were gone. Just knowing that they were in good hands made our VaCa more enjoyable! We will most definitely be spending more time here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We picked Maggie's Doggie Care based on her wonderful reviews. Our Max is a 10+ y/o bulldog and based on his age and knowing he would be happier in home we decided to use her Pet Sitting Service. We were not disappointed at all! Maggie was super with Max, she not just feed and let him out... she gave him his meds 3 times a day, watered my garden plants, brought in the mail, took the garbage out on garbage day, texted & sent pics everyday we were on vacation. AND she took care of all Max's oopsie's (he's a messy old man :) ). When we returned there was a detailed journal of everything she & Max did while we were away. Never again will I ever use another pet service. She was amazing and we were extremely happy with the job she did.
My dog was well taken care of while there the first time; the second time she had apparently rolled around in excrement and was attempted to be bathed or sprayed clean to no avail. Nothing was said to us, but we bathed her as soon as we got her home and I didn’t complain. However, this business is severely lacking in responses to phone calls and text messages. As a repeat customer for the third time, our travel plans changed and I accepted that I would lose my fully paid $280 boarding fee, but I never received a “thanks for understanding our policy” response, or any acknowledgement of payment or cancellation. In spite of this, I reached out about rescheduling, but never received a response. Since my dog’s pictures were used to promote the business, it feels a little like theft. A response would have been nice…and maybe a $10 discount on a future stay. After generous tipping and bringing back gifts from our trip, it’s a reasonable expectation if you know how to run a business. Highly overrated.
Maggie is top notch! She is a true professional and highly compassionate. She took such great care of our miniature dachshund (sweet but extremely shy) for my wedding weekend and gave me updates/kept me looped in. When I came to pick her up, she was completely fine and settled right back in when we got home. I honestly felt safe trusting my baby girl with her and will be bringing her back! I highly recommend her - she’s an expert and the best!!
I feel so fortunate to have found Maggie to take care of my 2 pups. Both of them require medication and one had severe anxiety and could not be left alone when I first got her. I explained everything to Maggie and she had no problems with taking care of them. Well that was 3 years ago and I’ve been using Maggie’s boarding and daycare services since then. If you want your pups to be treated to the same environment that they are in when they are at home then Maggie is your girl. I highly recommend Maggie Doggie Daycare.
We HIGHLY recommend Maggie and her doggie care services! She has looked after our 3 year old pitbull ever since he was a puppy and treats him like one of her pack. He gets his own vacation at Maggie’s home whenever we go out of town – he loves playing in the yard all day with the other dogs and then relaxing with Maggie at night. She is reliable and responsive and is extremely flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We love getting text updates and pictures while we are away! When our dog was still recovering from ACL surgery, Maggie was very mindful of his limitations. She made sure he never ‘overdid it’ and happily accommodated his need for ‘alone time’. Maggie clearly prioritizes the well-being of all her dogs. A few months ago there was a lost dog in our neighborhood and Maggie was KEY in reuniting the pup with his family. I asked her to just be on the lookout, but she went above and beyond by posting on social media and directing us to other sites which led to sightings … and ultimately to the reunion! We trust our dog with Maggie and are lucky to have found her, especially as many kennels in the area won’t even accept pitbulls. Don’t hesitate – book with Maggie and your dog will thank you for it!
5 out of 5 stars! Carmel took such great care of my girl while I was away! Belly full of treats and lots of lovins. She sent daily updates along with pictures which put my mind at ease. Was easily accessible and just an overall joy working with. She treated my kitty as if she were her own. She even took the initiative to make sure my cat was more comfortable during a heatwave by running the air conditioner for her! She also did a little light housekeeping! Will definitely recommend to friends in area . Holding on to Carmel’s # for future dates fur sure!
Once upon a time, this rating would be higher. I went away last week and Carmel was hired (and paid in cash, in advance) to take care of my animals. That included walking my two dogs. Two days into my vacation, I looked at my Ring doorbell camera and noticed my dogs weren't walked even once. Initially, Carmel lied to me and insisted they were being walked. It wasn't until the next day that she admitted she wasn't walking them, saying they were going on the wee wee pad and getting exercise from throwing the ball around. So here I am, panicking in another country. Thankfully, my friend was around to take over. I told Carmel to leave the money and my keys in my garage. She kept the money for the times she was there. If I were her, I would have been embarrassed and left the whole thing. But I can understand keeping some. The problem is she kept more than she was supposed to and didn't deduct for the fact of not walking them! This isn't about the money to me, but the principle. Of course, I'm blocked and she stopped communicating. This is someone who is allegedly licensed and insured. I DO believe that Carmel is a good person and loves animals. But what she did is wrong and others should know (just in case).
Carmel & her team are the best!!! My dog loves them! My house is clean, my instructions are followed and the photographs are welcome when I'm missing my baby!

We have been using The Scruffy Puppy for the last several years. I cannot say enough how happy we are ! Christina and team are absolutely wonderful and take excellent care of our fur babies. They have been there for us not only for daily visits but also when we've had family emergencies or needed help last minute. We know our dogs will be not only taken care of but they will also be loved. The entire team is the best!
We've been using scruffy puppy weekly for about 6 months and it's been awesome for us and our pup! The dog walkers are all great with our dog and send us nice pics of him and are genuinely really kind, both to him and us. They've also been able to handle last minute requests, which is super helpful. Would 100% recommend Christina and her team
I was lucky enough to find Christina about a year ago when I moved to this area. Everything about the Scruffy Puppy is professional and caring - from the meet and greets with the dog walkers/sitters ahead to time, to the excellent communication when services are both requested and completed. Over the last year we have had many walks and two long weekends of overnights, and I have been consistently happy with the level of care, love, and attention that my two dogs have gotten from Christina and her team. My dogs both have health issues, and our walkers/sitters are wonderful about giving the medicines, and dealing with some quirky doggy habits. I recommend the Scruffy Puppy 100% - you will be so happy to have peace of mind knowing that your furry family is well taken care of.
We used SP for the first time for our 14 year old dog while on vacation and it couldn’t have worked out better. Maria came on schedule and even did the overnight stay for 1 night. Her updates and pictures on the portal were perfect to keep us informed. Will def use Christina and team again. Very responsive and easy to work with.
The Scruffy Puppy is a well run, pet loving, professional but personal business. They know how to care for pets in their charge, but more importantly, they clearly love animals. Susan was my dog walker and she always went above and beyond. I never had to ask and honestly, sometimes Inthought she was a mind reader!! She’s a dog expert and a dog whisperer. She also taught me things about my dogs that I was so grateful for. And I thought I had nothing left to learn! You cannot ever go wrong with The Scruffy Puppy!!
We had plans for a weekend away and were going to leave our dog with a family member. When that person became unable to take care of Lucy, we made a last-minute call to Scruffy Puppy. Christina was super responsive, replying to my initial late email at midnight with a positive response and a promise to call the next day. We filled out the user profile form in the meantime, which was very thorough and seemed to consider every possibility. We did connect early the next morning. Christina was sympathetic, professional, capable, and reassuring, and told us she would be able to accommodate this last-minute request with one of their best walkers, Erin. Erin truly was that--coming over to the house after 8 PM to accommodate our late arrival, and assuring us by her manner that she was truly a dog person and a good human. Erin was punctual and communicative and took excellent care of our girl. This was a fantastic experience start to finish. We wholeheartedly recommend Scruffy Puppy.
Christina and her team are truly amazing. They are professional, responsive, trustworthy, and so kind and loving to my pup. I trust them implicitly and cannot say enough good things about them. I consider myself (and my pup) truly lucky to know them and we are so grateful for them. I say with total honesty that I do not know what I would do without them. TRULY THE BEST and would recommend them to everyone.
Lindsay and Dave were amazing. We booked a spring break vacation, but couldn’t get boarding for our 2 Cavalier King Charles puppies. Glad we found out about this service. Our dogs had a wonderful time (an entire week). We loved the photos we received, and Max and Marlee almost didn’t want to come home with us :-). We will definitely bring them back. I feel much more comfortable leaving our pups with them, than a pet boarding place. No comparison.
We love Scruffy Puppy! We are repeat customers. Most recently our little dog Bentley stayed with one of Christina's associates, Dave and his family. Bentley was the only dog in their care which Bentley prefers. Dave sent us pictures or video everyday to keep us at ease. When we picked Bentley up, he was excited to see us, but didn't want to leave! He certainly enjoyed all of the attention he received. We will definitely request Dave the next time we need to leave Bentley for a few days.

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

I always get a little nervous when leaving my fuzzy buddy behind, as I'm sure anyone does. Mendé really helped ease that anxiety by keeping up regular communication and even videos and pictures! They immediately knew all the things they'd need to make sure my Cashew was totally taken care of while I was away. Clearly experienced, and obviously cares. Mende is great! She has taken care of our dog, Wrigley, several times; she is communicative and easy to get in touch with. As hard evidence: My wife and I got married in Prospect Park, and entrusted Mende to bring Wrigley over for post-wedding photos.
Mende is an excellent dog walker and my dog, Frankie loves his walks with her! She is very responsive to requests for walks, attentive to my dog’s needs, and most of all, super loving to him! She always sends a picture of a very happy puppy when they are on their walk!
