I couldn't ask for anything better from a housesitter. I received pictures of Amani. Tatum took Amani for walks and provided plenty of attention. She was very neat. The house was in perfect shape when I returned home. It was a short stay, but I would definitely use Tatum again.
Although Nicky could not meet me on arrival, Jon was very welcoming and provided an excellent tour of the accomodation and facilities plus great tips on Dylan's preferred walks. The accomodation was excellent including a fantastic large sun terrace. Dylan was a delight to befriend and look after. He certainly has boundless energy and is a joy to watch charging after a ball on the beaches. He is also very well behaved, on and off the lead and around the house. In summary, it was a lovely sit and I very much hope to be invited back and spend time with Dylan again.
From the moment we arrived at Tony and Lauren's home we were made to feel so welcome and trusted. Our introduction to Coco went well and we were looking forward to a lovely 6 days of walking her on the beach. It went so well, Coco is a beautiful girl with a gentle temperament. She loves the beach and her stick (which she finds a safe place for before she leaves). On one morning another dog literally took the stick from her mouth and she did not react at all aside from keeping close to wait for the stick to be dropped. Such a pleasure to take out. The house is in an incredible location, short walk to the beach, short walk to the canal, short cycle to the cycle track. Lauren and Tony very generously said we could use their bikes and their kayaks during our stay. I heartily recommend this house sit as you couldn't meet nicer people or a nicer dog :)
Where to even start - such a lovely family and we could not have asked for a better sit! Ryan and Tharuna made us so welcome in their home (which is just as lovely as pictured) and we felt like we could have spent hours just with them as a couple. Pancake is gorgeous and we loved her from the first time we cuddled her - she was very affectionate and appeared comfortable around us immediately. She is so well behaved, even when having her diva moments. We would not think twice about sitting for her again and really do hope to stay in touch. Thank you so much Ryan and Tharuna.
Thais is a delightful considerate host, her house is cosy and the cats are very sweet.
Janet and here home were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She was very flexible with my travel dates and even picked me up from the train station! The garden is gorgeous and the home was very comfortable. It is located in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors - close to public transport, as well. Mikey is a little chatter box and very sweet and cuddly. It was a pleasure spending time with Mikey and caring for the garden and home!
Roxie and Bobby are the sweetest dogs. They were easy to care for and so loving! I was especially fond of Bobby because he’s always keeping track of where I am and what I’m doing, like I had a little bodyguard! Jo and Eric were very hospitable, fun and friendly people. The room I stayed in and the guest bathroom were clean, stocked and organized! They live on a quiet street but a close drive to Sonoma, wineries and anything you might need. I’d definitely come back to see Bobby and Roxie anytime!
