I loved connecting with Leah and Bristow. He likes to play hide and seek but warms up to you. I'm responding to this review 2 years later, but have stayed with them twice. Do not hesitate- Bristow is easy to please and Leah will make sure that you have everything you need to have a successful (and fun/amazing) stay.
I loved my stay with Lola. She is gentle and friendly. She has her favorite spots to sleep, but she also likes to be in the room with you when you read or watch TV. She's curious and likes to keep an eye on what nature she can spot out of the glass doors. Natalie's Welcome Guide was nicely detailed, and that made the stay in the historic Laurel Canyon area, and in her home go smoothly. Their home, and the guest house, are very beautifully decorated, cozy and welcoming.
Thanks Lauren and Peter for giving us the opportunity to look after Monkey and Banana!! We hit it off with Lauren straight away, and knew this was going to be a great housesit! Lauren and Peter were welcoming and showed us everything around the house before they left. Monkey was shy but eventually made his way out from under the bed. Banana on the other hand was so cuddly. We loved our morning and evening cuddles. They are both such precious boys!

I had an excellent experience housesitting for Judy and Chris for a week in the summer. Roxie is the sweetest, most gentle cat. She liked to be brushed every day, she would sit with me on the warm, plant-filled balcony, or would nap under the bed. She eats several times a the day (and makes the cutest little happy sounds when she does), and I was happy to be working remotely for most of the days I was there so could keep to her schedule. Judy and Chris's apartment is comfortable, clean and welcoming, and they gave me a thorough orientation when I arrived so there was no stress at all. It helps that they are both friendly, easy-going people who have welcomed many petsitters over the years - they were delightful to talk to, we shared alot of laughs, and they have some great travel stories! They were kind enough to let me bring my cockatiel bird Stella, about whom Roxie was curious and interested, and always gentle. Roxie would sit and watch Stella eat her seeds or preen her feathers, and eventually Roxie kind of lost interest and went about her day. I was even able to have Stella sit on my shoulder and Roxie would just look for a bit, then walk on by. It was altogether a fantastic housesitting experience and I would absolutely love to take care of Roxie for Judy and Chris anytime, and can recommend them as a great housesit. I look forward to housesitting for them in the future!
