What a beautiful home and lovely pets. Oakley to so affectionate! We loved pet sitting here!
We had a wonderful time house sitting for Iulia and Elrich. They were incredibly welcoming and hosted us when we arrived late in the evening. Their home was lovely - spacious and clean, and they were generous with their things and really helpful. Miisu was adorable - initially she was quite shy, but we enjoyed lots of snuggles with her after she warmed up after a few days. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to hopefully sitting for them in future again.
While Caroline and Guy went off for a super active holiday, Olly and I curled up on the sofa and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this sit. Caroline and Guy were very friendly and easy to communicate with and there were neighbours available in case of emergency. All the information I needed was printed out ready and local guides and bus times were provided which was very kind and useful. Olly is an absolute delight. He appears like a shadow and seemed to enjoy nothing more than a gentle head rub while curled up on my lap or right next to me. We really enjoyed the grottiest day we had as we had the fire lit and cuddled up in total cosiness all day - there are so many books to read there’s no need to go out! I shall miss Olly very much indeed. Just watch him on the stairs….he seemed to enjoy jumping onto every step down in front of me but I’m sure he wasn’t really trying to send me flying! 🤣 The three little chickens are really cute and again easy to care for. They put themselves to bed after tea and otherwise tootled about enjoying themselves 😍 The house is beautiful with a south facing back garden and views over the hills. The skies are dark at night and great for star gazing while listening to the birds of the night. I was welcomed with treats and provisions and the kitchen has everything one could need. My room was beautiful, with a great hot shower. I also had the use of a bicycle which was really handy. There is a regular bus service from Ledbury to Hereford, both of which places are definitely worth a visit. The Butcher’s row houses in Ledbury were fascinating. This is a fabulous sit and any considerate, respectful sitter will have a great time. I’m very grateful to Caroline and Guy for trusting me with their property and their animals and I’d be more than happy to return for more cuddles with my new friend Olly. 😍
Melina's sit was very sweet and short. Her animals were very sweet and we enjoyed walking the dogs everyday for exercise. There were allot of rabbits hiding in the bushes that the dogs of coarse were very alert to. Melina made sure everything was transparent and the communication would be limited because of the low signal in the camping area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this sit to anyone. Thank you for trusting your babies in our care. ~ Vanessa and Javier
I had the loveliest 12 days on Lake Garda with the wonderful Chappie! Lori and Peter are lovely, super kind hosts with whom communication before, during and after the sit was easy. They kindly collected me from airport and we immediately got to know each other over lunch, a walk with Chappie and then an evening meal out before they left early next morning. Chappie is a beautiful, smart little dog. He is full of character and communicates to you what he likes and dislikes. He loves his walks and is very well behaved on the lead. He does a little entertaining dance when he sees a walk is imminent or is generally excited. He doesn’t like (and is scared of) main road traffic/cycles and makes it clear he is not keen on other dogs. Because of this we tended to go on quieter roads and alleyways to and from town so he was relaxed and trotted along merrily. I also chose quieter periods when he was a joy to walk along the lake and on the beach. Between walks he loved to nap and in the evenings he gave the biggest cuddles I’ve ever had from a dog. The flat is located right on the lake - a fantastic position from which to explore the wonderful local area. It has everything you need including 2 balconies offering sun and shade. Within easy walking distance are many many restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and shops as well as the enormous weekly market. I highly recommend this sit for a relaxed break with a wonderful companion. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Thank you, Lori and Peter, for choosing me. I hope we meet again.
We had a lovely sit at Jacqueline’s house with Luna and Chloey and Babou. The animals are really fun, engaging companions and their home is welcoming. Highly recommend!
