Francesca was a great sitter! Initially, she modified her plans when another sitter cancelled and patiently supported us through a tangle of changes that landed us back with our original dates for her sit. We really appreciated her flexibility. While we were away, she sent great photos and brief updates on Ginko. We returned to a happy cat and were pleased to find the house as clean as we’d left it. We highly recommend Francesca and hope she’ll return for another sit.
Wonderful sit in beautiful Oahu! Pio and Hatch are great dogs. They are a joy to be around and love hanging out, going on walks and relaxing in the yard. The home is amazing and Claire had everything set up! Great location about a mile walk to the beach and a mile to downtown Kailua. Would definitely volunteer to sit Pio & Hatch again and highly recommend to all other sitters
I had a lovely time looking after Bill and Diana, they both have lovely natures, and I learnt very quickly just how much Diana loves food, and how much Bill loves exploring! The flat has everything you need and the location is great, close to transport etc. Amy and Andy were also lovely, making me feel welcome and ensuring I had a good stay.
Sitting for Brenda was a great pleasure. Lilly is a sweetheart who is easy to care for. Brenda welcomed us and gave all the help we could have asked for. Their home is clean, tidy and very comfortable. the patio and gardens make it feel like you are on a holiday! Her location is close to downtown and near a relaxing creek and forest walk. We enjoyed exploring Penticton and the area, including the wineries, bike and walking paths, and restaurants. The beaches are fantastic. We highly recommend this sit.
We really enjoyed looking after Sandy & Gary's dog Neela and her daughter's dog Blue, who was also staying at the house. Blue was a little unsure of us at first but didn't take long before we bonded! Both dogs were adorable, very well trained & well behaved. Neela was the more chilled of the 2 dogs being a 9 year old retriever, Blue more energetic as younger, and Neela definitely didn't like walking as far as Blue ! The house itself was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning garden & pool. ( too chilly when we stayed to be outside much, though !) Sandy was very helpful with everything we needed to know about the sit. The area is lovely with a lovely national park in walking distance. It is suited to someone having a car, but we found it easy enough to get Ubers & there is a BART station a few miles away. Highly recommended house sit. Thanks, Sandy & Gary.
It's been such a delightful sit at Jane's! You can walk to the centre of Broadway in under 10 minutes where you get access to all sorts of restaurants, groceries (Co-op and Broadway Deli) and other local shops. On days when you feel like a quicker grocery run, there's a Nisa just around the corner where you can get daily necessities as well. Alfie and Ella have been lovely to be around with. They were very welcoming to us and adaptive while Jane was away. Give them a good belly rub and walks, and you will be best friends in no time! Jane has been kind enough to pick us up from the train station and showed us around the neighbourhood. With her detailed and clear guidance, you will get up to speed on caring for Alfie and Ella and looking after the plants soon enough. Besides, Jane has also been reachable whenever we need, so that has been assuring for us. All in all, it is a recommended sit for its picturesque location, helpful host and affectionate pets!
We had a great timing sitting for Tessa and Alex in their fabulous home with their lovely assortment of pets. The house is really special in an idyllic location, with lovely walks on the doorstep and conveniently situated for local shops and pubs etc. The dogs are great fun - loving, lively and full of character. We miss them already! Walks in the Hampshire countryside with them were a total pleasure. 3 cats became 8 with the arrival of 5 kittens a few days before we started our sit but that just added to the experience! Tessa and Alex are lovely people to get to know and couldn't have been more welcoming, relaxed and friendly. All in all we had a wonderful sit.
