The ten days I took care of Toulouse and Heidi's house were a wonderful experience I'll never forget. I'm so glad I came here. Toulouse is a big, big baby who put up his fake lion act for just one day, and after that he was the easiest, most affectionate cat, a great companion who was always with me and was a sucker for being kissed on the head all the time and picked up and placed in sunny spots, especially early in the morning. He is so easy with eating and all his habits, and is the biggest softie in the world once he decides you're his friend, so I'll miss him terribly. There couldn't have been a better introduction for me to Portland than Heidi's home and neighborhood. It's a very peaceful and safe street and neighborhood and just a block from the main Hawthorne drag. You really don't need a car if you're staying there, you can just bike everywhere and take advantage of Portland's incomparable biking network, and the greenways dedicated to biking in the immediate proximity. Heidi was always very precise and clear about all that was required and expected, and I really appreciated her communication. We were able to do a walk through in person the day before I started the sit so that made things all the easier. I felt very welcome in her home, and that's due to Heidi and her husband being so easy-going and cool. Yes, Portland is cool, and so is Toulouse the big boy who will definitely leave an imprint on you, and so are Heidi and her husband, and so is their beautiful home in Portland's coolest neighborhood. It would be awesome to take care of Toulouse again.
We just completed a month-long sit for Paris, Diana, and River. Their home is very warm and welcoming and is in a great location to experience all the coolness that downtown St. Pete has to offer. We also spent a couple of days at the beach which is a short drive. Their home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and they were prompt with communication when we had a question. They also left several contacts in the area in case we needed any help. Now, the most important part, River! We absolutely fell in love with her! She is a big, sweet girl and was so easy and fun to sit. I would highly recommend this sit and would definitely do it again if we were in the area!
I absolutely loved house and cat sitting for Tahlee and Greg. They are very kind and considerate, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed and they gave me detailed instructions about Jaggy and her routine. Jaggy is just the sweetest cat; I didn’t want to leave her at the end of the sit! She is just too cute and very easy to look after. The house is beautiful, super clean and comfortable, spacious and in a very well connected area of London; I felt at home straight away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit to anyone and would be delighted to look after Jaggy again. Thank you so much for having me stay.

I really enjoyed meeting Christa; she is a lovely person I hope to remain in touch with. Her home is a peaceful retreat with beautiful gardens on a quiet hillside. The cats are entertaining: wanting petting play and company, but true to cat nature, they mostly want food. The house itself requires little upkeep. It’s important to water the gardens and sweep the porches and walkways clear of eucalyptus leaves. Christa’s house in the Algarve is a 15 minute drive into town for grocery and pharmacy; 20 minute drive to the beach (although I personally recommend Praia de Barilla which is a little bit farther!). There are lots of mountain bikers in the area. I recommend this sit for anyone who likes quiet, somewhat remote places. I would be remiss not to mention the road to and from the house is narrow and windy on a hillside. The locals don’t seem to mind or give it any thought, but someone with car anxiety might want to take this into account. Thank you, Christa, for your kindness in allowing me to look after your kitties and home, and introducing me to southern Portugal. It was a fantastic experience!
Chico, Kingsley, and Nemo were a wonderful group to care for. Nemo is the sweetest boy and very low maintenance - he loves sleeping on the lanai! Chico and Kingsley are so much fun - they had a lot of energy, but loved to cuddle just as much! Dean (Kerin) and Amy welcomed me right into their home and made sure I had everything I needed. I had a couple of questions after they walked me through everything, and they were more than happy to help! Their home is in a quiet neighborhood, but is close by a really cute shopping center with restaurants. Overall, I had a great time and would love to come back! Thanks again, Dean and Amy!

Honor who is the manager is absoloutely wonderful, so caring, so helpful and absoloutely loves dogs, you can tell this really is her passion. Totally amazing at what she does. Honor has always done her best to accomodate our requests even last minute at times. Honor has been amazing with our Doberman rescue who has definitely been a handful at times but we know she absoloutely loved Honors walks/visits. We've also had some of the other girls in the team help us out with drop in visits and walks with our husky and doberman, the dogs seem to have been super happy and loved the care & attention. Always get plenty of photos to update on how the dogs have been and you know they're in good hands. Highly recommend We Love Pets - Honor and her team ❤️
Our puppy Koda became part of the family. We got updates several times a day. She was super happy and very well looked after. Excellent services and care. We will go back for sure.
We’ve been using Honor at We Love Pets since November now (since our puppy was 12 weeks) and she is just a brilliant! Honor has been a massive help over the past few months. She truly cares about animals and their well being. My 6 month old puppy absolutely adores her and her family (she regularly boards with them now!). I can not recommend her highly enough!

Even taking him to the vets to be checked out and giving him medicines. Staying in a home with other dogs and pets has benefited Ralph immensely. Honor and her team are fantastic. They have provided excellent care for our young puppy during the first few months and now continue to provide us with walks and doggy day care. They treat our dog the same as they would treat their dog and we couldn’t be happier with their communication and flexibility with our busy schedules. We would highly recommend!
Honor and the team are great. Super reliable and happy to accommodate last minute wall requests when they can. Our bonkers labrador gets mega excited as soon as she hears the car pull up outside because she knows she's in for an hour of fun on her walk. Would highly recommend for all dog walking needs.
Honor and the team walked my 2 dogs while they were staying with my parents for 2 weeks. I have never left my dogs before and never let anyone else walk them, so I was a little nervous! However, I didn't need to be. The dogs were really well looked after, Honor gave me regular updates and I could see how much the dogs were enjoying their time with her. I would have no hesitation to book "We love Pets" in Ashford again and I highly recommend this company.
Honor was absolutely amazing!! It was tte first time I was having my dog (a GSD) boarding with someone else that was not immediate family members, and from the moment we spoke on the phone, Honor excuded professionalism, was very communicative and responsive, and when we met up, and I left my dog with her, she regularly kept me updated on how my GSD was doing, my GSD loved being with Honor and her family (including her dogs), clearly my dog was very well looked after, taken on regular walks, was very comfortable. I would without any doubt travel the length of the country again and leave my GSD with Honor! Not only was she incredible when she was looking after my GSD, but she also instinctively knew when I needed reassurance, the other dogs in her care were very clearly well looked after, and an aspect that I really valued was that she had also shared with some snippets of psychology or scientific research conducted about canine behaviour, which I found invaluable! She was very knowledgeable about canines, their temperament, the psychology & research behind some canine’s behaviour or reaction! And I can truly say that me & my family (including my GSD) have made a friend for life in Honor, I would trust her repeatedly with my GSD and any other pets!
Honor and her team have been fantastic with our Labrador pup Reggie. Since he was small he has had regular weekly visits/walks & has also stayed away with them during which we received regular 'pup-dates' during his visits giving us peace of mind. We couldn't recommend We Love Pets Ashford enough they are flexible, excellent with animals and well priced.
Zeke has just come home from a week with Honor. He’s had the best time! It was my first time leaving him so was initially worried, but the constant photos and videos that Honor sent showing him having a great time quickly put my mind at rest. He was treated like another member of the family. I would definitely be using Honor again for any dog sitting requirements. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
