We absolutely loved having Max stay with us! He took amazing care of our home and our dogs while we were away. Our dogs absolutely adored him! On top of that, he was great company and we so enjoyed the opportunity to get to know him. He is a kind hearted, warm individual, and a pleasure to be around. We hope he will return to visit! Susan and Tom were so welcoming to us, and Abigail. Two and Many as inside/outside cats were easy to care for. They also got along with Abigail just fine— ending up sharing meals, all together as 3 black cats (hard to recognize them at times!! 😅). The house is very comfortable but if you are visiting in the winter months, be ready for the possibility of storms, and whatever may be impacted in the house. You may enjoy the island or take the ferry and visit some very cute towns in the area. We also did our bigger grocery shopping on the main land. Overall it was a great unique experience for us.
This was a really nice, quiet, peaceful stay in a beautiful vineyard. Yet for all the serenity, the town of Saint Helena is less than a five-minute drive away. Connie was great to work with, being very thorough and responsive. Chester and Chauncey are sweet dears. Being old and mostly blind, they take a little more attention but mostly just guidance once in a while, and they’re great at following your voice on walks down the driveway and along the private road. In no time we found our groove. And it didn’t hurt that I could pick oranges to have with breakfast in the morning! I’d be happy to come back and spend more quiet yellow lab time here with the old boys.
Our stay in Stocken Heath was very nice. Before, during, and after the sit Shelagh had communication. When we arrived at the at the station Shelagh came and pick us up and took us to her home. Once we arrived at her and her husband's home we had a nice welcome from her husband and pets. Everything we needed to do was explained clearly. We enjoyed our walks around the area with their wonderful pets Rolo and Masie. Their pets were very friendly and wonderful to spend time with. Shelagh and her husband were very nice people. Their home was well set up and close to their little town and close to shops. Shelagh and her husband provided us with a wonderful meal as well the night before the sit, which was very nice. Thank you for the very nice meal you made us.
We had so much fun during this sit. Sharon was so friendly and accommodating for our family. And our kids absolutely loved Charlie and Lokki. They were very well-behaved dogs who loved snuggles. Sharon gave us clear instructions on how to care for her dogs. And she left us with information in case of emergencies. The house is beautiful and very cozy. We loved being so close to footpaths and trails for walking the dogs. And we enjoyed exploring Odstock and the nearby towns. There is fresh milk you can buy from a local dairy, which we absolutely loved. Thanks for choosing us to take care of your dogs!
Caroline is a very thoughtful and accommodating host, we got to spend the first evening together and acquaint ourselves with the property and walks around the village which was fantastic. The dogs were lovely to look after, very affectionate and well behaved. The house and gardens are nothing short of magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here are very grateful to Caroline for choosing us and would happily sit again.

I highly recommend LMDDC! My cattle dog mix, Finley, is full of energy and loves to “rough house” play. On two occasions, they called me to let me know they had pulled him from group play because he was getting a bit too rowdy with the other dogs - I really appreciated their proactive approach! Their ability to read the dogs behavior and intervene/de-escalate situations before they go too far is impressive and not something you find at every daycare. At a previous facility, Finley was bitten multiple times in just one year because the staff didn’t intervene quickly enough. Since coming to LMDDC, we haven’t had any incidents in the two years he’s been attending, and I feel completely safe leaving him in their care. From the very first visits, the staff recognized him by name when we arrived and they provide daily report cards that detail their temperament, who they played with, and more. It’s the little things like this that make such a difference. You can tell that the staff cares deeply about the dogs and loves what they do.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews (I know that's terrible) but with Love My Doggy Day Care I have to... I rescued my dog Sunny (10 Ib pom mix) over a year ago. Before he came to me, he spent the first 6 years of his life either in a basement alone or being physically abused. When I rescued him it was the height of covid. I was working from home every day and knew I could provide him a safe, comfortable home w/ all the cuddles and attention. However, in February I was asked to start coming back into the office. To say I was so scared about what to do with my Sunshine is a complete understatement. I rescued this sweet boy and he was staying with me no matter what, but I needed to figure out the best accommodations for him while I was at work. A friend of mine (the President of Home At Last Dog Rescue) recommended Love My Doggy. The first few times I dropped him off were hard on each of us, however, when I picked him up he was happy & tired. Since those first February days, I have never once worried about him once I dropped him off. Sure I miss him terribly during the day, but every single time I pick him up, the staff are the most loving, gentle, and understanding towards both him and I. He is being loved in all the ways he should have been during those first 6 years by the Love My Doggy Staff (and myself) and for that I am so thankful. He deserves it. Sunny has come such a long way. He is a calmer, happier dog. The love he receives at LMDDC has transformed him. To say I am a big fan is an understatement. My Mom brought her crazy and VERY overgrown Chihuahua there this week and he came out looking like a new puppy! She was VERY happy with the service provided, and care given to her little old man of a dog.
Delightful staff and yes, the dogs come out smelling like dogs. That’s because they are playing the whole time and having a blast. If you don’t like that, can get an exit bath.
The staff are fantastic. They love the animals. They seem to really know each, individual dog & truly care. Biggest issue is the place really smells badly. As a place with dozens of dogs running around, smell is expected. However, here, it's overwhelming. My dog leaves with odor strong enough the car windows need to be open on the ride home & a full bath is needed when we get home. I didn't have the time for nightly baths, so I finally found an alternate place, particularly for the summer months. I wish I could do all my daycare there, since it is a good place with a wonderful staff & owner.
The staff is very nice and they take the necessary precautions up front to make sure your dog is safe and adjusts well to doggy day care. Before COVID when we dropped off in the lobby my female who had bad anxiety got use to being there overtime and after taking her there for several weeks she was actually so excited to see the people at the front. This made me feel so much better about dropping her off. After one month she finally did so well she was able to play with the other dogs, this was huge because she was very stressed and had bad separation anxiety after losing her brother and litter mate to cancer. Several months later we got a new puppy and we now take him there. The feedback I get from the staff is great so far and he comes home all tuckered out which is a beautiful thing! My only peace of feedback would be sometimes they come a little smelly or if they are outside sometimes little muddy. I’m sure this is hard to prevent so I am understanding of it. A extra bath is worth a tired and less crazy puppy! 😁

I recently boarded all three of my dogs for a long weekend and it was a great experience. Stacey and the staff and extremely knowledgeable. Stacey has many years of experience and it shows. Her expertise in dog behavior was evident. I was very comfortable leaving all of my dogs in her care. Two of my dogs take medications and the staff was able to administer all of the medications without any problems. One of my dogs is also dog aggressive and can be difficult to give medication to but the staff handled him without a problem. I would absolutely use Love My Doggy Day Care in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for a boarding or doggy day care facility.
We use LMDDC for dog walking and grooming, and we are always satisfied with their care and love for our sweet girl! We have a very anxious dog who is slow to warm up, but Bryl was amazing and came out several times just to meet her and get her used to being walked by him. We also get updates of confirmations that she got her walk (sometimes pictures too). She also always looks great after her groom! They listen to our requests and she always turns out looking beautiful.
I have been sending my little dog to Love My Doggy Daycare for over 4 years and just LOVE it! the staff is beyond caring about my dog. And, I really like that they separate big and little dogs. My guy is tired out after all the fun he has whenever he goes to play. Plus, the groomers are top notch! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I was very pleased with Fetch Pet Care. We were nervous as this was our first time having a pet sitter for a week with our dog. We always used a boarding environment. I received texts and photos and was very confident of the care our dog was receiving. I feel as though our dog was cared for as we would care for her.
This service does not vet the quality of their sitters, provides poor communication and was extremely unprofessional. I was setup with a consultation with one of their dog sitters, whose house was extremely unsanitary and unsafe for my pet. The company didn't respond to my feedback, and then months later they somehow scheduled me to be a sitter for one of their other customers. (Needless to say, I never even signed up to be one of their sitters.) Really disappointing, especially given the positive reviews it seems they received years ago.

Without going into great detail I would not recommend this pet sitting service ever! Had issues from day one till.when I arrived home a week later, to vomit in my house and now dealing with a sick cat because they could not follow very simple directions. The owner jack is rude and should be ashamed to talk to clients the way he does and run his business the way he does.. Never would I. I was so stressed out on my vacation over my cats and it shouldn't be that way. Lesson learned. Response to OWNER.. your communication is horrible. You didn't follow directions, I came home to vomit in my bedroom and had a sick cat for a week!! Don't you dare blame ME. You were rude and being I'm a previous pet sitting company owner I know how to treat a client, unlike YOU!!!!! . Don't worry I'd never use or recommend you, and I needed another vacation to get over the stress you caused me. Shame on YOU.- jerk
Fetch connected me with a great Dog walker, Ella. We’ve had her a few weeks now, and she has been amazing helping my girls adapt to a new home and being very flexible with my schedule around contractors, travel etc. Ella has taken a lot of the anxiety off of my shoulders and let me focus on other aspects of our new home.

Justin Ramos was terrific. He came to our house once during the day and then spent the night. He was the ideal person to look after our geriatric cat. He did everything we asked. and left us a detailed list of how the night went while sitting our cat. We plan to ask him to do this again for a longer stay in about a month.
Owner Jack was very rude to me on the phone. Walker that was supposed to show up, never did show up for the meet and greet and never called to notify me that she wouldn't be showing up. I tried to cancel the first walk I was planning on doing with them, and you cannot cancel online (although you can schedule the walk online). Cancelling is quite difficult to do and you get attitude from owner if you try to cancel over the phone. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. Going with a different company.
My petsitter, Rachel, is the best. She understands my cat and I love reading her notes on each visit. I have total confidence & peace of mind when I go away.
I have a larger puppy Bernese and he’s sometimes anxious. They were so good with him and kind. He looked fabulous. They gave him the entire royal treatment and took great care of him. They know how to work well with animals and are very careful and attentive.
I had to leave my baby (cat) for 2 weeks and was so nervous about leaving him anywhere but Hickory Inn really took care of him and emailed me with updates whenever I asked. They took wonderful care of my little angel and I highly recommend! The whole team was so nice and I could tell they cared a lot about our little furry friends. Thank you! <3
We have been boarding our boys and girls (Shih Tzus) at Hickory Inn for decades! We appreciate their loving care and wouldn't think of having someone else take care of them!
Never had an issue. Our dog is always clean and happy when we pick him up. Staff are friendly and courteous and respectful. They take him out a lot and don't keep him in the cage all weekend. Many walks and time with other pets. Our dog has a cough and we noted it and they saw that and took him for a medical checkup. They said it's an allergy and aren't alarmed by it. They are attentive to what conditions he has. The prices are to be expected. You pay for good care of your pet.
The staff is great and my dog enjoys her stay. They are connected to the hospital in case of an emergency. Many options for treats, bath and nail clippings for an additional fee.

Benny has been staying at Hickory since he was a Puppy. Anytime I go out of town, I know he's being taken care of. The staff that I have met over the years are great. A few faces have come and gone over the past nine years but most have been around a while. My only complaint is when they started changing their price structure around, but the new owner seems to be going back to the way it was before on pricing. He also is already improving other areas that were outdated (such as going digital vs paper). Update: it's been 11 years and Benny is still happy at Hickory. As with many places inflation has hit the price but I am still happy to leave Benny in their care because I know he is taken care of.
My name is Callie Wilder. I own 2 toy poodles. One is 6 months the other is a year. I went on vacation for 8 days December 23rd to 31st, 2012. I want to publicly say that it was a pleasant experience. I was permitted to bring their toys and food. I called three different times during the week to check on them, and they were doing fine. The staff is very friendly and the facility is very safe and clean. I was reluctant at first to use Hickory Pet Inn because of negative reviews on various sites. However,I would highly recommend this facility to any dog or cat owner. My dogs were clean, well feed, happy and in excellent health when I picked them up after an 8 day stay at the Inn. I will use them again in the future.
Great service and convenient location. We have boarded our large shepherd/husky dog here at least a dozen times. They require all dogs to be up-to-date on vaccines and shots. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Always a good experience for my large dog (100+ lbs). Employees are great and always take care of my best friend while I'm away. Price is kinda standard... Wish add-ons were a bit cheaper apart from standard boarding. Should be a bit more full-service.

The Paws Up team is wonderful. Ashley is the right amount of communicative and I love that everything can be scheduled via text message- so convenient. Ashley and her team are not only extremely kind and passionate about your pets’ care, they’re very knowledgeable about pets as well! They’ve taken great care of our dogs & cats over the years, and have helped me out during last minute visits. While I don’t like to make a habit of that, I’ve run into some work conflicts and Ashley did everything she could to work it out so my pets weren’t left alone without me. I have a cat who’s had some medical issues, and Ashley has always provided suggestions on what vet to take him to and what to ask my vet, to help him get better. Ashley also was very supportive and thoughtful while we put our dog down last year.
Ashley has take care of our dog, Winston, for over 5 years. She goes above and beyond for her customers including waiting for a locksmith when we forgot to leave her a key. I would highly recommend anyone in the Conshy area to use her services.

We love Howls and Meows! Colleen takes care of Harper like she’s one of her own. Harper starts to bark as soon as she’s pulling in the driveway and never has any hesitation when we leave. Colleen is responsive, sends us pics/videos and has a great Instagram account where we see can what’s happening with our pup while we’re away. Best thing is that Harper always has a friend at Howls and Meows like Squeegie and Biggie Paws :-)
We were initially looking for a place to bring our puppy for overnight boarding that didn't seem like 'doggie jail', and we have been so happy with Howls and Meows! Our crazy dog is definitely more comfortable in their home-like environment than she would be in a kennel. The pricing makes sense, and the business owner has consistently taken great care of our girl when we are out of town. Their flexibility for boarding, overnight in-home sitting, and ability to care for our cats when needed makes it an easy choice!
I have two cats Laverne and Shirley. Colleen is absolutely fantastic! She is always available and very professional. Whenever she is pet sitting she always texts me videos and pictures. She also lets me know how my girls are doing. My one cat Vern is very shy and hides when anyone comes over. Colleen was able to build a relationship with Vern so that she is comfortable. My girls love her! I highly recommend using Colleen and her company for your pet sitting needs!

Colleen is wonderful with our dog, Bruce! He’s a 2 year old lab mix who is full of energy and needs plenty of play time. He gets so excited the minute we pull up to her house- he loves going there! Best of all, Colleen has been such a help as we recently found out Bruce has epilepsy. She was right there with us sending suggestions and advice from her years of experience with similar dogs. She’s one of the few people we feel comfortable caring for him when we are away. I know she monitors his medicine schedule and makes sure he’s comfortable in a large crate in case he has a seizure at night. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. You can tell she cares for the animals as if they were her own pets!
Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers!" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her. Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us! We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Give it a shot and see just how quickly Colleen becomes more than just a dog walker, but a part of your family!
We found Colleen through a Google search, gave her a call, and based on her knowledge, experience, and confidence, we decided to try it out. We went and met with her, saw her home and yard, and were reassured this would be much better than leaving our puppy at a kennel. We were right. She's great, a pack leader so our dog is always safe, and just a nice person. Her rates are reasonable and our dog always comes home happy and tired.
Colleen has gone above and beyond taking care of our Frenchie while we were away. She truly treats these dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time leaving our pup and she checked in everyday, communicated about necessary things, and just gave our dog so much love. Can’t recommend her enough!!
We love the service Colleen provides through Howls and Meows Pet Sitting for our dog, whom she walks every day. Colleen is professional, communicative, super reliable, flexible, honest, and LOVES pets, especially our dog. We work and our dog is often home alone during the day. It's a huge relief to know that our dog will get some TLC during the day. I love that Colleen sends a note after every visit. Hire her! Colleen is great. She's really in tune with reading dog body language and genuinely loves dogs. She will set up a meet and greet with your dog and hers to make sure everyone will get along. I ended up really appreciating this part, as it made me feel a lot better about leaving my 10 month old puppy for a week. My puppy was actually excited to be dropped off afterwards, because she was excited to play with her new friend Squeegee. She was really responsive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely take my dog here again.
The wife and I have been using pooch patrol since our little guy was 8 months, and he is now 2 and a half years old. Sean (along w/ Dave) have been great walkers. You can tell they enjoy seeing the doggies, even though our guy (Miles) can be stubborn sometimes. To go along with keeping our guy happy w/ a walk and giving him his daily carrot and cheerio treats, they will also bring in any packages that might be delivered to thehouse. : )
My newly adopted cavachon was feeling anxious and insecure when I would leave during the work day or during short trips on the weekend. We have been using pooch patrol for years. They have Cared for your dog Coots for years. My wife and I both travel for work and our schedules are inconsistent to say the least. As long as I give Adam my schedule by the week before he is somehow consistently able to work us into the schedule. He has even accommodated us on the rare occasion when we needed to add a visit due to travel delays. The communication is full of details From Adam and his team and my kids look forward to reading what our dog Coots did while they were away. Pooch patrol has also provided vacation services for us. They do a great job grabbing packages and the mail and Giving Coots some much needed extra attention while we are away. This review is long overdue (sorry Adam). We have been using Adam and Pooch Patrol since we got our pup over a year ago in the height of the pandemic. He has been the MOST RELIABLE dog walking service and I am so happy we found him! 5 stars across the board for reliability, dependability, and flexibility! Not only does Adam show up on time and as scheduled, he communicates updates and visits with a daily log book. If you are looking for a strong consistent walking service…BOOK HIM! My only regret is he doesn’t have a true dog daycare with overnights because he would make a killing off of us LOL.
Pooch Patrol had been taking care of my pup Tilly for 3 years now. Dave helped train her as a puppy, and I can’t say enough about the care that Tilly gets when she’s with Pooch Patrol. Whether or not Tilly is just going for a walk, or spending the weekend with pooch patrol. I know she’s always in good hands and I need not worry. Sometimes I even thinkTilly likes Spending time with her walker Dave more than me.

As someone who lives alone and works outside the home, I was wary of using a service where there would be multiple walkers with access to my home and no real accountability. Adam met with me and my dog, and I was instantly at ease. In the 14 months I've been a client of Pooch Patrol, I've had no more than 5 different walkers, with generally one "regular" walker and others filling in as needed. While my dog is super friendly, knowing that she gets to bond with just a handful of people makes me feel better. They leave notes about how she was that day, and she doesn't destroy my stuff or have accidents in the house when I get home so it must be working! It's easy to set her schedule for the week too if something comes up. Overall, there's no way I could have a dog and work full-time if it wasn't for Pooch Patrol, so thanks to Adam, Jamie, Dave and the rest of the gang for making my and Willow's lives that much richer!
We’ve had Pooch Patrol helping take care of our girl for about a year and could not be happier! Not only do I never have to worry if she’s going to be okay if I run late at work, I know she’s in great hands and the whole team just adores her. We love the flexibility, the peace of mind, and of course her daily report card! Highly recommend!
We highly recommend Pooch Patrol. Adam and the team are truly animal people. They take care of your pets like they are their own. They are also very professional and reliable. Up front pricing and they make scheduling very easy. They offer a variety of services including walks and vacation visits. After each walk they write a report card for the day. We are moving out of the area and will no longer be able to use their services which is unfortunate because we always had the utmost peace of mind when they cared for our dogs and cats. I also recommend following them on social media such as Instagram because they pot adorable pet pictures and really make you and your pets part of their community.
Super Pups is amazing! My dog, Louie, loves going there and it's truly his second home. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, making sure every dog feels comfortable and happy. Louie always leaves tired and content from all the playtime and socializing! Louie always looks great after a grooming session there. I can't recommend Super Pups enough - it's the best place for any pup to spend their day!
My little guy, Buggy, has been attending Super Pups Dog Daycare for nearly a year now, and he absolutely loves it! Julia and the entire team are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and fun! The facility is super clean, colorful, and very welcoming! There's always something exciting happening, whether it's a birthday "Pawty", holiday celebration, pup cup, or picture day. Buggy is guaranteed to have a fantastic day every time. The sheer joy he expresses when I mention Super Pups, eagerly walking in to see his friends, is priceless. I can’t thank you enough. It's truly reassuring to know that my dog is exceptionally well taken care of and, most importantly, safe at Super Pups!
Superpups is great!!!! My dog Quincy has the best time while he’s there and comes home exhausted! The staff make me feel comfortable and that is he well taken care of. I would recommend to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding!
Super Pups is the best puppy daycare and my dog Jordan absolutely loves going here. Over the last few months I have watched Jordan change from a timid rescue pup who was afraid of everything to a confident, happy pup that runs into day care to play. I can't say enough good things about the Super Pups team (McKenna, Rochelle and Julia to name a few). They created a welcoming, loving environment at Super Pups and their creativity in the enrichment camps is off the charts. I wish I could give them a 20 star rating! Its nice to know Jordan is so well taken care of while I am at work.
Chase has been going to Super Pups since they opened 2 years ago and he absolutely loves it! So do I!! Julia, Steph and their staff are amazing! There is always something special there every day. Whether it be a birthday party, a holiday, etc., they always have an activity planned for the pups! The pictures they take of the pups are awesome! They get them in their best poses! This business is staffed by pleasant and honest women who legitimately care about animals. While my dog's temperament made long term boarding here untenable, I have no doubt anyone needing daycare or boarding would be very well served here.
If you want to see the best reviews from Super Pups, walk in and look to the right. There's a wall of pictures of the dogs, and every single one is smiling!!! (I've attached a pic of ours). Julia and Stephanie are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The whole staff is awesome actually. The place is bright, super clean, they communicate well, and most importantly you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. I would 100% recommend it, (unless it gets so popular and I'm not able to get a spot).
Millie Billie Jane, Aspyn and Chilli give y’all 4 paws up, tail wag and a big ‘ole puppy kiss! Always VERY accommodating for our last minute reservation needs. I love seeing pictures of my little snuggle bugs curled up to any dog they can find that will nap with them. These 3 girls absolutely love coming here whenever they can. They get so excited when we pull up to the building and they try to shoot into the back to go see their friends (humans and doggos). Super clean facility, looks and smells great. You probably wouldn’t even know it was a doggy daycare if there weren’t pictures of all the super cute Super Pups hung on the wall right when you enter.
We are so thankful to have out of the crate as part of our lives! With two very shy but sweet pups, the staff at OOTC is the perfect fit for our family. They know our dogs well and take great care of them. Imagine our surprise when a staff member that also works at bark social greeted our girls by name! We were thrilled to catch up and you could tell they had built a bond with our pups. They’re so reliable and we never have to worry when our pups are there! The peace of mind is a godsend.

Out of the crate is the best ! Mike & Emily have created such a wonderful space. My dog dakota can be a little nervous sometimes and mike treats her with such compassion and kindness she absolutely adores him! Mike makes everyone feel like family when we walk in everyday! the facility is clean, spacious, and keeps the pups safe. I would recommend OOTC to anyone who has a dog! 10/10
Out of the Crate is the BEST daycare for our puppy Jesse. Out of the Crate was recommended to us by our trainer Vania from At Attention Dog Training. At the time, I was looking for a daycare facility where our 4-month-old beagle puppy could socialize well with others, but also maintain a schedule where she is let out often enough for potty breaks and get the rest a growing puppy needs while still playing and having fun. Searching online, I've noticed that most doggie daycares have larger playgroups where it's harder for staff to supervise and monitor all the interactions between the dogs, and dogs are left to their own devices. You couldn't ask for a better daycare facility for your puppy then Out of the Crate. Every single member of the staff here absolutely love each and every dog that comes through their doors each day. You can tell from the pictures they post on social media and the little stories the staff tell you when you're picking up your pup that the staff genuinely remember each dog, what they're like, and how much they love each dog. I believe it's because the staff actually PLAY with the dogs (on top of all the playing and romping the dogs do with each other) that truly make a day at Out of the Crate the BEST day for your dog. I've had Jesse go to another daycare facility while OOTC was closed due to the flood last year, and I'd noticed that she wouldn't come home as happy and tired as she had been coming back from OOTC. I can tell Jesse has a blast hanging with her friends (I know she's close friends with Peaches, Dodger, and Levi, according to staff) and she comes home the happiest of pups. The facilities are impeccably clean and well-maintained, and you can tell so much thought and care was put into making this the ultimate doggies Disneyland. Jesse is now a 9-month-old teenager, and I know her happy place is at OOTC with her friends. I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful community, and I can't thank the staff enough for taking such good care of Jesse. **Update to add: OOTC has a fantastic boarding program as well, and Jesse stays with OOTC whenever we're out of town or for other special occasions. The pricing for the boarding is fantastic compared to other places, and I know that Jesse is getting the same wonderful attention and care that she gets every week at daycare. Knowing that she's staying with people who love her dearly and at her favorite place on earth gives me peace of mind whenever we have to leave her.
Our pup is so excited when he realizes he’s headed to daycare that he barely says bye at the door - and he always comes home happy and sleepy! He’s been more relaxed at home in general since starting, even several days after his last visit. We’ve had to reach out last minute a couple times to change things and Mike and his team have always been super accommodating and kind. We also recently boarded here for the first time and knowing he already loved it alleviated separation anxiety on both sides. We’re so grateful OOTC is local to us and would recommend to anyone.
We just moved cross country to Conshohocken and it was important for us to find a doggie daycare that we trusted, and our dog felt comfortable at. Our movers ended up having to come a few days earlier than expected and we hadn't had the chance to do an evaluation day at Out of the Crate yet. I called Out of the Crate and left a frantic message about needing somewhere to send our dog while the movers came into our apartment to see if they could accommodate. Mike called me back after hours and it said it would be no problem to get Piper in the next day on such short notice. I was so appreciative of their flexibility. Piper had the best time and continues to go back weekly to play with her friends!
Staff is great, unfortunately sleazy male owner has a nasty habit of preying on multiple female customers. Go to women owned Super-pups a few doors down. Also can't say that I'm comfortable with my high energy doodle being taken care of as Out of the Crate lost a dog a few weeks back. Conshohocken deserves better.
Such a great experience with OOTC! Rooney was welcomed so warmly by the staff and had a blast! I would definitely recommend Out of the Crate to anyone who loves their dog and wants them to have fun while you are at work or out of town!
My pup Winnie has been coming to OOTC for the last few months and has had several sleepovers in addition to day care. It’s nice to know that she is safe and getting socialized while I’m at work or out of town. The staff is always pleasant and seem to truly care about Winnie and the other pups. She always comes home happy & exhausted after a fun day of play!
Our 3 year old Labrador Retriever loves OOTC! She is so excited when we drop her off, tail wagging and pulling toward the drop off zone. It is a huge piece of mind she is well taken care of when we travel.
We have been using weekly daycare and occasional boarding services at Cubby’s for the past 3-4 years. Every. Single. Encounter. that we have with their staff is pleasant and professional. They take amazing care of our dog and we are so grateful for the entire team they have assembled.
Said simply, Cubby’s provides caring and confidence. They are professional and comprehensive in how they evaluate dogs for their services and communicate. And because of that, they instill confidence that your furry kid is in good hands. At the same time, you can just tell they truly care. Every one of their staff are there because they love dogs and care about their well-being. I also like that there’s consistency of the core staff, which is important for them as a business but also build your confidence that they “know your pup”. My dog always comes home exhausted - almost “drunk” exhausted! He loves to go and you can tell he has fun. They organize the pups by play and interaction style, not just big and small dogs. They offer tours and let you see the spaces your pup will be in.
My dog and I recently took a confidence building class with Sasha and it was top notch!! This was my first experience with Cubby’s. Sasha is an amazing trainer! Her love for dogs and passion for helping humans handle their canine companions more skillfully is unmistakable. Thanks to Sasha’s ability to quickly notice and clearly communicate about barriers/problematic patterns and missteps and then tailor practical skills and homework to correct and overcome them, both my dog and I grew tremendously from this course. Sasha also takes the time to explain the psychology behind her directives so you are not wondering about the logic behind them. This class was really just a lot of fun thanks to the fact that the trainer seems to put her whole heart into it. Not to mention great value for the price. I would take another class with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sasha!!!

I've been so thrilled with my experience at Cubby's! They are extremely professional and take such good care of my dog. Took our French Bulldog for the 1st time , TERRIBLE experience!!!! She was panting so hard when I picked her up that I was terrified!!! She was probably out in the hot sun with nobody paying attention to her!!! When you pick up your dog , the people don’t even acknowledge that you’re there, they turn the other way!!!! AWFUL experience!!!
Absolutely love Cubby's! Great staff, super friendly and our dogs seem to like them. They do great work grooming our dogs and have great prices. They can get a bit busy so make sure you schedule accordingly.
Our son Dutch is an only child and we wanted a fun and safe place to occasionally send him, where he could bond and play with other dogs. We are so happy we discovered Cubby’s Canine Castle! Because our boy had never played with other dogs, he was a little shy at first. The staff at Cubby’s realized this and took the time to slowly integrate him with the pack, as opposed to just tossing him in and having him figure it out on his own. They actually took the time to make it a positive experience for him. During those few weeks they called me several times to update me on his progress. He’s so happy when he goes there. He comes home completely drained from playing all day. (Lucky for us). I was a little nervous at first, but after a few weeks I’m completely satisfied with my decision. In addition to using their daycare services I’ll be utilizing them for boarding this spring. We could not be more pleased. The staff at Cubby’s really care for the pets they take care of. All of the employees are extremely kind and friendly. Thank you to the staff!

Liz is awesome - super reliable/professional and my dog is obsessed with her. When he was a puppy she would help with his training and reinforce everything we were teaching him. Now he goes for quality walks with her and comes back tuckered - quite an accomplishment for an Australian Shepherd! We are so lucky to have her!!

We love Pamper and play! We have used their service for walking our dog and for housesitting. In both cases we found Liz and her team to be reliable, responsible and loving toward our dog. I also love how we can book a dog walk once in a while when we realize we're going to be gone for a long day. Liz is as happy and responsive to do a oner-off walk as to be coming regularly. The folks that housesit for P&P are wonderful. (TJ is great!_ I can tell they really bond with our dog. I highly recommend Pamper & Play. You won't regret it!

I can’t say enough good things about this service. My dog was well cared for and she even took her at short notice. In fact she sent me feedback while I was away so I knew that my dog was ok. My beloved Phoebe just had to be put down and I received a sympathy card. I was so touched. Liz truly loves animals and provides a wonderful service for pet owners. Very caring and competent. Very professional. We had Liz take care of our 2 dogs and 4 cats, in our own home, while away for our summer vacation in Myrtle Beach. They and we loved her!!! She stopped by 3x a day to make sure our furry family members were happy and healthy. Liz even went the extra mile of vacuuming to make sure we didn't come home to extra fluffy carpet due to summer shedding. She loved the animals as if they were her own, and spoiled them as if so. I think they were more upset to see Liz go then us when we left for vacation lol. She also kept us updated daily with how everybody was doing. They didn't seem to miss us one bit 😍
I have two German Shepherds and was dog sitting for a friend when I had a family emergency. I was needed at the hospital ASAP. I was nervous about these dogs being together and I needed someone fast that could handle the job. I had heard about Liz from a friend. I can't express my gratitude enough. She showed up as quickly as she could. She walked them, fed them, managed to have them all tuckered out by the time I got home (not an easy task) AND all three of them were snuggling on the same bed. As far as my experience goes, Liz is a miracle worker! I will definitely be relying on her services from now on.
