I had a lovely time watching Roxy and Leo. The instructions David left were very clear and easy to follow, including videos to watch to know exactly how to care for the bunnies. Everything I needed was very clearly laid out and the apartment is in a great location for exploring the city as well. Leo and Roxy themselves are very sweet bunnies and were great company. David was also very kind and gave me suggestions on places to see in Lucerne, making sure I could make the best of my time. His communication was amazing and he made sure to let me know I could contact him anytime, for any reason with the bunnies, no matter how small. I would definitely recommend this sit!
We had a wonderful time at Bernie and Pete's looking after Tui. The location is ideal for relaxing and sightseeing. And Tui, a beautiful little white fluffy cat, was adorable with us. We had to feed her twice a day and bring her in for the night. At first she was a bit shy, but she soon got used to us and we were even able to stroke and brush her. I highly recommend Bernie and Pete who were great with us and their cat. We can't wait to see them again!
We loved our time at Hatt House with Sennen, a beautiful Golden retriever. Heugh and Fiona are wonderful homeowners who made us feel very welcome. They were great communicators both before and during the sit, and are warm and engaging people. We were also fortunate enough to spend a few hours before and after the sit getting to know them. They provided a very helpful handover and clear notes about their home and Sennen. Hatt House is magnificent, and we felt very comfortable and at ease. The garden was beautiful, and we were able to enjoy lovely fruit and vegetables in season, which we cooked in the gorgeous and well-equipped kitchen. Sennen is the most delightful dog. She is well behaved and easy to love. We enjoyed many walks with her in the fields around the home, and along the Cornish coast and moors. She loves water, and so playing ball down at the beach was excellent fun. We highly recommend this sit and would relish the opportunity to do it again.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Olivia's home. The cats are easy to care for, they are funny, cuddly and very independent. They can definitely upgrade any trip or vacation! Olivia is just lovely, super welcoming and generous, and very easy to interact with. We were well informed about the cats' needs and felt very comfortable in her gorgeous, spacious and pleasant house. The neighborhood is beautiful, green, and close to the city center. It has everything one may need, including tasty vegan food :) We could not recommend Olivia and the furry ones more highly and would love to come back one day, for sure!
I had a great time watching after Leo. He is such a gentleman. Very calm and gentle, likes food and cuddles. Irina was very quick to respond and left clear instructions regarding responsibilities and her place. It’s very beautiful and surprisingly quiet. Thanks again Irina for letting me watch after Leo!
Sitting for Ruby is an absolute dream! Ruby is the sweetest little lady. She is very playful and loving. She enjoys cuddles, walks and playing with her toys. We had so much fun with! You can tell that Ruby is very loved :-) Ruby’s family made us feel welcome from the start. We were able to meet a few weeks before our stay. This was very nice for everyone, especially Ruby! Simon and Ulrike left us very clear instructions in the Welcome Guide as well as local dog walking maps- this was all very helpful and made for a smooth transition. They were also very kind and generous. We had great communication with them while they were away and felt very comfortable staying in their home. Ruby’s family home is very cool. It is also exceptionally clean and well organised! The location and lay out is great and it is a pleasure to spend time there. 5 STAR sit! Would highly recommend it!

It is absolutely the best place I could ever ask for for my dog. I work in a vet clinic and have extremely high standards for where I take my dog. In the years I've been taking my dog, not once has there been any kennel cough or major sickness going through. My dog loves going there to the point that if I say their names or Happy Hounds, she goes crazy trying to get outside to my car to see her friends. 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a great doggie day care and/or boarding (which is cage free and always has someone on site 24/7).
My dog, Simone, and I move periodically for work and so I've had Simone at Happy Hounds on and off since 2019, among other places. By far, Happy Hounds was her favorite place, as well as the place I was most comfortable having watch her. Leaving her in their care made me at ease whether it was just for the day or for a week for vacation, to the extent that no other dog boarding/daycare place we've been to has yet to meet. We've permanently moved away this time and we will both sorely miss Happy Hounds and their fantastic management and crew.
The ladies here take such good care of my fur baby! Very nurturing and attentive to all the pups. They have cameras to check in and see how my doggo is doing and if he is behaving. They also have a snapchat to see him playing with his friends!
Our dog has been going to Happy Hounds twice a week for daycare since he was a puppy and now almost 10 years later he is still so happy every time he is dropped off. The hours work great for our schedule and we love the staff as much as they love the dogs. They are excellent at getting to know your pup’s personality and ensuring that they have a safe and fun day. They have lots of fun enrichment activities and take loads of photos. Boarding is cage free which reduces the stress for the dogs when they are away from home - and allows us to go away without any concern. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Happy Hounds for any dog owner.
Get on the waiting list NOW and early! Now I know why GREAT place for my 8 month old puppy dealing with separation anxiety. Someone is there with them 24 hours. Dogs ARE NOT CRATED at night. Sleep on dog cots in one big room with care giver. Like one big PJ party. Has indoor and outdoor play areas UNLIKE some new places in area. Also have live web cams to check in on your pup.

We have been customers of Happy Hounds for many years. They truly get to know each and every dog; their habits, their quirks, and what it takes to make them "happy"! They insist that all dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations and send reminders when needed. This is HUGE as far as I am concerned. Personally, I will always remember that they were willing to be on "stand by" when our daughter was expecting a baby. We typically make boarding reservations in advance but, naturally, could not do so in this case. We called them at the very last minute one evening and they made sure someone was there to take care of us. Customers and their furry friends are always safe and welcome at Happy Hounds.
I am a big fan of Happy Hounds! Kramer loves going and is so tired when he gets home. I love the aspect of totally cage free boarding and the doggie webcams. The staff is amazing and take such great care of the pups!
They are fantastic! The best! So nice and accommodating. No cages, great atmosphere. They make sure all dogs are up to date on their shots. If a dog comes in that is sick, they are aware immediately and act on it. So on top of the operation. My dog loves it there, he is always excited to go. They have doggie birthdays and holiday parties. Very fun place. I have been taking my guy here for 6+ years.

Pam was phenomenal with our pup while we were away.
