We had the absolute pleasure of looking after two gorgeous little ladies, Hopper and Lovelace. They're total angels, are always happy to see you, and love pats and cuddles, especially in the sun on the deck. Agnes and Peter have a lovely home, with loads of cool bars and restaurants a short walk away, and a Tube stop nearby. Agnes and Peter were wonderful with us, and met us beforehand to show us around and give us all the tips for the boys, the home and the area. We could sit and pat Hopper and Lovelace all day!!
I spent three weeks with the wonderful Alfie and Pepe. They were wonderful companions and enjoyed cuddling up whenever I was sitting down. They loved their daily walks along Albon Way and around the local area. Preet was always easy to communicate with and I appreciated the time she spent providing a handover and picking me up and dropping me at the train station. Preet's home is very comfortable and within walking distance to shops and the train station. I will miss Pepe and Alfie and our walks!
This was probably our favorite housesit. Maryann and Ken are gracious and kind hosts. When we arrived Ken (who is quite a chef) had made us a lovely meal and even desert (the best brownies I have ever had in my life). They were off the next morning to Greece leaving us to look after Dot and the house.
Where to begin... Dot is the star of the show. She is a truly special pup who is as intelligent as she is sweet. I’ve rarely described dog as being polite, but she is that as well. Dot stays off the furniture, rarely barks, and is what I would call moderately affectionate. She’ll let you know, for the most part, when she wants some loving. She loves a good game of fetch and you’ll never have to go track down the ball as she’s right on top of it. We adore Dot and don’t think we’ve met a better behaved dog. She even rings the doorbell to come inside after going potty!
As for the house, it is gorgeous and well designed. It’s spacious and comfortable with every modern convenience. There is also terrific high speed internet. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful within walking distance of downtown Nevada City. My husband and I both agreed that we would happily do this sit again!
Elizabeth and Collin's house is adorable and comfortable. Honey is one of the most chill kitties that we've met. She warms up to you quickly, gives you a bit of her charm then makes her way back outside. We sat for Honey during the summer, which in Denver can get very hot. Elizabeth and Collin own a swamp cooler that cools the house down in minutes. Overall, great kitty, great house, we would sit for Honey again.
What a wonderful stay! Laura’s place was very comfortable and homey. Close to everything in beautiful Hoboken. Billy and Margot were adorable. They were a little skittish at first, but they eventually came around for some pets and to chase a string. Highly recommend this stay, would definitely do it again! Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay in Manisha's appartement with two lovely cats. Manisha described very well what was my task and where to find all important items, that helped a lot. My daughter and I loved her two cats, they are so beautiful and always like to be with us. It was not difficult to take care of them, only to brush them could be sometimes challenging. But with some treats we could make it 🙂 All in all we felt very comfortable at Manisha's home, we had a beautiful room too and Manisha is generous with sharing books, DVD's and coffee and tea etc. So it was never boring for us. I am very glad we had our first sit at Manisha's house.
