We loved staying at Helen’s place! At first we were intimidated by taking care of 6 animals but we got the hang of it quickly. Each animal has their own personality and kept us entertained all week. Helen gave us detailed instructions and was always available if we had questions. The sit is in a beautiful suburb of Melbourne and we were able to go to the mountains just as easily as we’d go to the city. Would highly recommend.
I had a great time sitting Ranger and Ruthie at Riva's home in Asheville. I visit Asheville semi-regularly and always have a good time, so it was no surprise that the neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. It was nice to be a hop, skip, and a jump away from a grocery store and restaurants I already loved and new ones I'd never tried. If you don't have a car, it would be easy to walk to get food and supplies. Riva's home was cozy, easy to maintain, clean, perfect for working remotely, and aesthetically pleasing. I loved all the sunlight that came in during the day. Ranger and Ruthie were angels. Ruthie is sweet and shy, and Ranger is an affectionate free spirit. I was so happy when Ruthie spent a little more time lying next to me accepting pets on my last night there. Riva was so accommodating and warm when I arrived before she left, and she was easy to communicate with while she was away. Her instructions were very clear and thorough, so I had no trouble settling in. My only complaint is that I didn't get to stay for a longer time. What a cool family! I would recommend this sit any day and would love to do it again. Thank you, Riva.
Brent and Natasha are both amazing and very welcoming! They are super friendly and great with their communication. Their fur babies, Scooby and Noodle, were such a joy to sit for! They have so much love to give and love to cuddle. They are very well behaved and easy to care for. Everyone loves them and they are known as “the neighborhood dogs.” I’m definitely going to miss these two silly lovable boys! The location and apartment are great with absolutely amazing views and with so much to do all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend and would love to sit for them again in the future!
We had a wonderful time looking after Filou and Mewtwo. Filou is an affectionate boy who behaves immaculately at home & a huge cuddle bug who loved sleeping with us and hanging out together wherever we were. He does get very excited and pulls while on walks but that was communicated clearly beforehand so we were prepared. Jane was very hospitable in picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, showing us her usual walking route with Filou, and being contactable throughout. The chalet is beautiful and a short walk to all amenities.
We recently had the pleasure of dog-sitting Albie at Heather's home, and it was a wonderful experience. The location itself was excellent, walking distance from parks, shops and restaurants. Heather's home was cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable environment for us. Albie is an affectionate dog, full of energy, who melted our hearts from the moment we met him. He is a relatively big dog, but very gentle. We quickly formed a bond. Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. If the opportunity arises, we would gladly return to Heather's home for another dog-sitting adventure with Albie.
Lovely housesit in Radstock. Victoria and Robi were very helpful in giving his us all the necessary information about their house and pets. They were very kind enough to video chat with us beforehand and get to know us. The house was very typical English, cozy, and had all the basic needs, entertainment, as well as cool coffee machine. It has lots of close walking paths from the house, and is only 20 minutes from the tourist city of Bath. The pets are quite entertaining and all very much different when it comes to their personality. Lilo is the quiet the energy ball and loves to stay at your side, if possible, most of the day. It takes no effort to make him part of your clan and is very welcoming from the moment you arrive. Since his just puppy it’s easy to take him in the car and he enjoys sightseeing, walking, or even just going to the supermarket. His well-behaved for a puppy and just requires you to keep on him every now and then. The other baby, Dante is very gentle, as well as energetic, and likes to hang around as well. He’s quite easy going and enjoys being indoors. Cosmo on the other hand is more chill, and finds comfort inside as well, but will occasionally go outside for a few hours. He enjoys napping and eating although his on pursuit in losing some weight for the summer. Kiki is probably the most chill one and probably won’t see much of, as she eats her meals inside and then wanders off to explore outside and doesn’t demand much attention. She is very nice and will enjoy a hug or some play but does enjoy her space. On the other hand, Pablo is probably the most serious one and won’t see much of either as his spends most of his day outside and comes back when his hungry. He enjoys his space and having his meals isolated by the others. We very much enjoyed the stay and were happy we got to spend some in Radstock and visit Bath with the addition of our companion Lilo. Victoria and Robi continued to keep in contact with us throughout the sit and answered any of our questions we had. We were very pleased with all the accommodations, enjoyed taking care of all five furry animals and would recommend anyone looking to vist Radstock to house sit with Victoria and Robi.
