It's difficult to express with words the gratitude I have for this experience. Aashna and Yawvaar are amazing, they are very warm, welcoming and friendly. They're lovely to connect with and have really great energy, as does the adorable Sushi who is soooo cute with a fab personality. She is curious, playful, affectionate and loves her naps and food. The flat is great, very comfortable and you have easy access to places around the island. Communication has been excellent throughout and I was given a detailed welcome guide in advance which was great. Aashna and Yawvaar are organised and very thoughtful and caring in every way. I couldn't recommend this experience more, what an absolute pleasure, so much gratitude!
We had a great time with Leo. He is very well trained, affectionate and easy to take care of. If you take him on two good walks - which are beautiful in the fields or the forest very near by the way - he will be sleeping or chilling on his own the rest of the day, but also has enough energy to play and cuddle as much as you want to ;) Next to the nature there is also Basel that's pretty to explore and easy to get to. Lea-Anne and Chuck are very helpful hosts. You get all the informations you need before you arrive, videos of walks/commands and also of the household appliances for example. Their house is nice and grocery shopping is in walking distance. All of that made our stay very easy. We would recommend to everyone to apply for looking after Leo in Switzerland.
My husband Jay and I had the best time caring for the animal clan at Lisa and Steve's canyon oasis in Solana Beach. Bodhi is a gentle soul, happy to be anywhere you are, filled with love. Curry is all Lab - a sweet boy, aims to please and always at the ready for food:) And Prancer! Small but mighty at 18 years young! This little guy climbs up and down stairs, loves his buggy rides and offers a bundle of joy to anyone who cradles him. Bella Noche is a cruiser and will call attention to you when she's ready to eat. She's independent but likes a good chin rub, too. Both of us being chefs, we were indulged each day with fresh eggs from the chickens, plus strawberries, tomatoes, plums and avocados from the garden. We would enjoy our homegrown bounty on the deck at night while watching beautiful sunsets just before heading to the hot tub to cap off another day in paradise. Steve and Lisa's home is a Bohemian beauty. Treasures from exotic places, we felt like armchair travelers and marveled at the artistic touches in every corner. A nice functional kitchen and super comfy bed made for a sitter's dream. We would be thrilled to be invited back.

This housesit was one of a kind! Brett and Rachel are amazing people. From the minute we applied for the housesit through to the day we left they went above and beyond. Percy is very easy going cat, it didn’t take long for him to warm up to us and we were treated to lots of cuddles. The location is very beautiful and great for the outdoor lovers. The Dalraddy community is welcoming and we felt right at home. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
I can't praise this sit enough. I was invited to sit at Lauren's and Steve's home and right from the get-go I felt like being at home. They were super-welcoming as were the doggies. Lucky is adorable and star of the show when you walk her out in the park close by. She gets a lot attention from everyone out there. Lucky is really chilled for her age, eager to be as close to you as possible especially when you are on the couch watching movies etc. Amazing little snuggle bug. Starfox is lovely and sweet, even though she is getting old and lost the eyesight she still loves her walks, food and attention. It wasn't hard to go together for a walk with two of them, you just practice a bit and it's all good. Every now and then Starfox needs a little encouragement, I found that if you just pet her a bit and let her take her time you'll be soon ready to go again. Lauren's and Steve's home is right next to a huge park with lakes and little pathways crisscrossing it. It is a place where you could spend ages roaming around finding new spots and little trails. Their home is also worth praising. The backyard is big and gets beautiful afternoon/evening sun, kitchen is well equipped and the projector and the sound system makes you feel like you're in movies every night. Highly recommended to sit here if you do get a chance.

I’m so glad to have found trustworthy, honest, friendly & truly caring walkers to take care of Ned. As a first-time rescue owner, Ned was adopted and lived with two other dogs for two years. I recently moved to the area on my own with this sweet dog and as an anxious dog parent, I do worry about him without his dog mates. Dave is amazing with Ned and goes beyond his dog walking service. Once on a very hot day in Oakland, Dave ensured Ned did not overheat and turned on the fan for him. Including checking on his water bowl. This was not our first dog walker - I had a few before who did not have the same level of professionalism and general care for my Ned. I am so grateful for Jeremy and Dave.

Molly and her team at Doggy Lama are the best! Our dog Toby always returns from his off-leash walks with Jordan having had lots of fun with his pack buds and tuckered out. It’s been a huge relief to know Toby is getting the exercise and stimulation he needs, especially during the work week when we can’t provide that for him to this level. This team is also amazing at communication, from day-of logistics to general awareness of seasonal considerations on the trail.

Everyone at Doggy Lama has been so good to my pup, Rosie, since I adopted her over a year ago. Catherine has taken care of our extremely high energy Australian Terrier puppy for both day care and extended overnights. Our puppy gets tons of play in a safe and caring environment with only a handful of dogs staying with her at any given time. Catherine sends regular updates with a big bonus of very cute pictures and videos. The dogs get regular walks on the beautiful Bay Trail and trips to the beach. Our puppy always comes back happy and content.
Puff & Puff boarded my cantankerous 13 year old chihuahua for 3 weeks. She has a few health issues and couldn't travel internationally with me. I was very nervous about leaving her in a boarding situation. She had difficulty in boarding elsewhere in the past. I liked that Catherine insisted on a meet and greet before agreeing to take her in. I was instantly surprised by how calm and clean the environment is. My little dog was nervous to greet the few other dogs but didn't go into aggressive mode, as usual. Puff & Puff always responded timely to my inquiries before and during my chihuahua's stay. Catherine sent pictures and videos of my girl enjoying herself. That relieved my anxiety tremendously. My dog was happy and healthy when I got her back. I highly recommend this service and would feel good about using Puff & Puff again.
Catherine and her husband were fantastic with our dog Bogey. He stayed there for almost 3 weeks. Bogey took a few days to adjust but Catherine was very patient with him and kept us well informed with texts and photos of his progress. Bogey had a very good experience and we would definitely use her service again.
I visited 4 home boarding services before deciding on Puff and Puff, and i’m so glad I did!! Catherine and her husband did an amazing job watching my small dog...to the point where my little one didn’t want to leave! My dog is very particular and hates everyone (and most dogs) but she loveeed staying here. She became really close to their friendly small dog, Bailey. The two were practically inseparable. I honestly felt really bad picking my dog up because I knew she was having such a good time. I also loved getting the picture and video updates of my dog playing and having a blast. I will DEFINITELY be using them again. So glad I found her!
We were very worried about leaving our Puggle for 2 1/2 weeks… He is 15 with what we call “separation anxiety”. What would we do without Travelers Pet Care!! My girlfriend and I have a10 year old dog with separation anxiety and a chronic illness that requires regular medication. Marisa and Dominique have been top notch in their professionalism and communication, able to accommodate giving his medications. They give us the peace of mind to be able to leave town. Their website/app allows for quick communication and storage of all of the great photos that they take. Attached is one of the great photos they took of Ranger... Like how did they get him to pose like that!!! One of the true gems of the East Bay!
Marisa is reliable and professional. As a new dog owner, I had a lot of nerves. I never have any doubts when my dog is in the care of Marisa’s team. The best part, my dog is IN LOVE with her dog Walker and can’t wait to leave me and go on her walk!!!
We contracted with Travelers Pet Care to administer our sick cat's complex schedule of medications while we were out of town for over a week. Our cat has lymphoma and is on a variety of medicines (some injected, some in pill form as well as subcutaneous fluids) with varying frequency (some daily, some every other day, some three days a week.) We were very anxious about leaving our cat Posey, particularly when she needed care from someone who knew how to administer her medications. We needn't have worried! Dominique came over in advance to go over the spreadsheet of medications we had prepared and to get to know Posey in advance. We scheduled extra time during the first few visits so that they would have more time to bond. We also met with Marisa just before we left and developed equal confidence in her. While we were gone, we would receive daily updates on how things were going with Posey along with a picture so we could gauge her condition for ourselves. We could see that during the course of the week, Posey became more and more comfortable with them and more affectionate. On days when Posey didn't need much in the way of medication, they would stay and give her company for the remaining amount of time scheduled for the visit. When we returned home, it was immediately evident that Posey had benefited from their care. She wasn't anxious about our absence (though happy to see us) and even seems to have gained a little bit of weight. Her comfort level was high because there was no interruption in her medical regimen. I cannot recommend Travelers Pet Care more highly, particularly if you have a pet with special needs. Their fees are very reasonable relative to the care our pet received and the peace of mind they afforded us made it possible to leave Posey in their care in confidence. We are so grateful to them! I highly recommend their services and we will most definitely use them again.
Dominique and Marisa were instrumental in guiding us as first time dog owners. Our “pandemic puppy" was able to socialize and learn to walk off the leash with them. Our dog looks forward to every time they come by to pick him up. We are lucky to have this 5-star service in the East Bay.

From the meet and greet, they made me feel confident to hire them. The way they would ask questions about your pet making sure their needs are met. They would give me updates everyday on what's going on and and how my pup is doing which gave me peace of mind. I enjoyed my vacation not worrying about what is going on with my dog. Marisa has been the cat sitter for my fur babies since May this year. I'm grateful to have found her and Travelers Pet Care. She has been very reliable and she takes good care of my fur babies. There was one time that my senior cat was really sick while I had to leave out of country. She took really good care of her, she took her to the Vet, gave her medicine and also updated me as possibly can. Marisa is awesome!

Absolutely recommend Mau House Cat Hotel! Our senior cat, Alice, stayed there for a week, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she received. The owner stayed in constant communication, sending us pictures and updates to ensure Alice was comfortable throughout her stay. It’s clear that everyone at Mau House adores cats and goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care. We’re extremely grateful for this wonderful experience and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving place for their cat.
I had a very good experience here. I knew the cats were very well taken care of. They were nice enough to share some photos while we were away. Both Kona and Zelly didn't really want to leave, haha. The price is reasonable. A lot better than a lot of cat hotels in the area. It was nice to know that our kitties were with people who love animals and they had a good time there. All in all, I would recommend it and return.
Absolutely love this place! We boarded our car there for the first time a while ago and it was amazing. They treated her so well! Also, the rooms are super roomy! Staff is kind and very responsive. Looking forward to boarding with them again.
I can't say enough good things about Mau House. The owner Julie is responsive, compassionate, and clearly very experienced with cats. Lizzy the cat had lost her human, and we needed to board her until we could find her a new home. She had been through a lot, but came to feel safe and comfortable at Mau house after the most difficult of circumstances. Julie treated her like family, and sent us pictures to reassure us that the cat was adjusting ok. At one point, Julie had some concerns about Lizzy's health, and she offered to take her to the vet for a very fair hourly rate, if we were unable to. We were concerned about how to find kitty a new home. As it turned out, Julie and Lizzy bonded to the point that Lizzy got adopted as the Mau House mascot. Mau House really does love cats! The whole experience couldn't have been any better. I've been volunteering in animal welfare for many years, and the care Lizzy got is as good as it gets.
We boarded two cats here for the first time. It was important for us to find a secure and safe facility as one of our cats is an escape artist. We were able to tour the place beforehand. The place is clean, has lots of natural light, and the rooms are well appointed. We were happy with the experience and will likely book at Mau House again in the future 🐱.
This was my first time having to board my cats so I was more nervous than anything and worried about finding a caring & clean place for my babies. Last minute Julie was able to accommodate my two cats for the days I needed. The room was spacious for the both of them to board together. I really liked that it was cats only. One of my cats isn't keen on dogs so it made me feel better she wouldn't have to smell dog scent or hear barking that would make her anxious or uncomfortable. Julie is very kind and you can tell she just loves cats and animals in general. She spoiled my kitties and I came back to them healthy, clean and happy! I will definitely be using Mau House Cat Hotel again if I ever need my cats to be cared for while I travel. Great price, great service, great space!
This place is amazing! If you need to board your cats I highly, highly recommend this place! In the past we had a neighbor come by to feed our cats, but noticed they would do things like pee on our bed as what I assume was a sign of stress that we were gone. At Mau house Julie sent photos and updates daily reassuring me my babies were in good hands. The cats have actual room with windows to hang out in and she let's them roam around the facility if they are interested. Our cats got great care and plenty of love. Totally recommend if you need cat boarding!
I have three bonded, shy cats and have never boarded them before because of my concerns about them being too shy and nervous to deal with a boarding situation. What a relief to find Julie and Mau House. Julie let me chose a room for the cats-and it was a room-no small kennel for them- but a large, bright, sunny room with windows. She let me bring their cat tree and anything else that would make them feel comfortable, blankets and beds from home. The building is clean, quiet, calm and smells good! Julie was great at giving up dates when we were away and took pictures as well. The girls did fine while we were away, no one lost weight or spent the whole time hiding. They got plenty of attention and love. I highly recommend Mau House to anyone looking to board their cats while they are away.
This wonderful home away from home for our cats is a Godsend. Cats literally get their own "hotel" room. There are climbers and windows, with just enough privacy for them and enough visibility to be monitored. Julie fed my senior cat Fiona a warm water mixture of her food and she has not vomited since. I was told by a vet to add chicken broth which obviously was causing her stomach problems and vomiting. Thank you Julie...sometimes the simple things are the best solutions. I got my cat about a year ago and in the past when I was away, I would use a pet sitter. My cat showed a lot of anxiety with me being gone, even though she was remaining in her own space, so I wanted to try something different. I decided to look into cat boarding. The only places I liked were in SF, which is far and expensive. At one of the SF boarding facilities, they mentioned Mau House had recently opened and maybe I should check it out since it's closer to me. I was impressed by the sizes of the rooms and the natural lighting. Some facilities have a lot of built-in bells and whistles like cameras, scratchers, or fancy cat trees (you can purchase a scratcher and some other things for a fee). Mau House does not have that, but they do allow you to bring anything you want of your own, which is nice because you can bring your scent as well as your cat's scent into the place. I think the most important thing for me was the fact Julie is clearly a cat person and is understanding. My cat took some time to adjust and I was worried about her getting the attention she needed to get comfortable. While my cat was never 100% at home, Julie still remained understanding and tried to keep her happy. The only thing I would change is maybe more regular updates because there isn't a built-in camera I can just check on my own. Julie was quick to provide when I reached out and asked though.
Emily of Happi Dogs is a god send... Thankfully we found Emily before a big holiday. As things didn’t work out with our former kennel. Now, Polar & Fanta cannot get enough of Emily’s services. We’ve also established an ongoing relationship & feel part of the pack. Emily is very efficient, communicative, and caring. All the qualities you want in an “animal nanny”. Hello everyone. I have four Guinea Pigs that are very dear to me. I would like to thank Emily for being reliable and sweet with my pets while I was away. She did an excellent job.The result was that when I got back home, I found my guinea pigs like I was hoping: happy, properly fed and their cages were clean. I highly recommend Happi Dogs.
Emily and Manish have been great! I was kind reluctant to hire someone off line for dog walking, but Emily and her husband Manish came over to our home for a free consultation and made us feel at ease with their calm demeanor and kind words. The services are also priced well and they are reliable. Now, I love arriving home after work because our dogs are calmer and have had some outdoor time. I highly recommend their dog walking services!!

I am so pleased with Happy Hound dog boarding services. My mixed breed, fixed pup has been boarded at this facility for 3 to 5 nights at a time since I rescued him in August 2023. I love the staff! So many kind, friendly, competent people. Buddy loves his extended family! He is always so excited to meet and hang out with new friends, and full of energy and happy when we reunite. The rules are very clear, and easy to follow. We appreciate the care given to placing Buddy in the most appropriate hangout group. Love the report cards, photos, and the live Webcam. I value feeling secure about my Bud when I have to be away , and the location makes it so easy to access.
I meant to add some comments to my review that I just posted but I hit the return button too soon! I wanted to say that today I brought Boo Boo, our new dog in for an evaluation and was so impressed with not only the facility, but the staff. All the dogs there were busy and having fun and I will definitely be bringing Boo Boo here when we leave daycare or boarding. Another Happy customer for Happy Hound!
Amazing facility and super friendly and welcoming staff. My dog has moderate to severe separation anxiety, and after just two days of daycare now LOVES going to Happy Hound. The first day, she barked and jumped at the door awhile, and the second day she relaxed and even made a friend! The webcams are such a thoughtful and fun addition to the experience so that the humans can see how much fun their dogs are having. I am so grateful for the attentive staff who assured me and my husband that our fur baby would do well and thrive at daycare. So happy we found this incredible place!
Our pups Cy and Luna love going to Happy Hound for doggy daycare and boarding. The staff are superb and we couldn’t ask for a better team to care for our beloved dogs. We’ve used their training program for both dogs and it is worth every penny spent.
It was very easy to find information online and also call to ensure I understood the requirements and timeline. Once I was able to book the assessment, Sabrina greeted us and was very sweet to my dog! It was our first time ever at a daycare so my dog was very hyped. Sabrina gave me a tour and facilities were very clean and all dogs seemed very happy to be there. Personally love that you can watch the dog spaces live on their website.
Absolutely love Happy Hound! I’ve used them for daycare, boarding, training and grooming. No matter the service, dogs LOVE going there - they get so so excited when we pull in the parking lot. And I love how tired and happy they are when I pick them up :-) highly recommend!
This spot has always been great for our pooch and their updated facility has plenty of safe, clean space for our 12y/o big guy with two ACL repairs. This was our first time leaving him more than a few days. I was apprehensive leaving him for a week and a half but they were awesome about letting us hold the dates without stress and when he lost a couple pounds within the first few days (apparently very common even if they’re eating well since he’s so accustomed to lazy days and less stimulation) they notified us (via text which was awesome) and asked if they should make any adjustments to his feeding. They even allowed us to ship his normal food there via Amazon to up his portions a bit instead of pressuring us into buying their toppers which would have also been a fair option. Really impressed with this place and their prices are totally reasonable for the great work they do for our fuzzy family members.
Cleopatra our Great Dane spent 3 weeks at Happy Hound for training. She was treated very well and came home in excellent health and spirits. The training is effective and she behaves better now.
My furbaby, myself and my hubby LOVE this place. It became my dog's second home. They have been a homesaver! We rescued a puppy this May, and then suddenly..stay at home dogdad needed to go on a business trip. Happy Hound welcomed our puppy with welcome arms. She made fast friends and is so happy to go there. She gets lots of exercise, stimulation, and safe play time. They have an excellent user friendly client portal that allows you to book boarding, daycare, spa treatments, training and more! We currently are doing a 14 day dream doggie training program. Her graduation is Sunday and we have lovedthe experience so far. We get regular pics, vids, and updates. She looks extremely happy and focused. We were able to get so much done around the house while she was out, and have the comfort of mind knowing that she's in expert loving hands! Would absolutely 💯% recommend this place. My neighbors all know of it and are jealous that we got in! It's a local legend. Best of all.. she knocks out.. sleeping so soundly when she comes back home!
Happy Hound took great care of Piero! They were flexible with my schedule when I needed to drop him off a little early, and coordinated with a local vet to make sure he could get his Canine Flu shot in time for his grooming appointment. His haircut looks beautiful!

Dog's True Dream is the second best decision we have ever made, first was adopting our sweet Pow Pow! Maya and her team are soooo good with our pup. It's been a couple months now and our Pow Pow is already bonded with her. Not only does she offer the best in class daycare and dog boarding, but she also takes the time to work with our dog on small behavioral things!!! She continues to impress us. Most importantly when we get Pow Pow back at the end of the day- he is calm, cuddly, and EXHAUSTED! Maya is committed to her dogs and treats them like family, and even does fun events like a Doggy Halloween Party. THANK YOU DOGS TRUE DREAM!

Sid is GREAT! My dog Poppy has had daycare with Sid 2-3 days a week for 3 years and occasionally overnight boarding. It is wonderful to see how Poppy lights up when she sees Sid, and I always feel she is in great hands, safe and active with playmates in a small group setting. Sid is conscientious, organized and in a terrific location. Highly recommend!
My dog has been boarding and going to day care with Sid for over two years. I feel much more secure with Sid than any kennel. Going to Sid’s is great for us. I never have to worry and she always keeps me posted my baby girl’s day. As a person Sid is wonderful. I am so glad we found her.
Sid is a true doggie whisperer. My puppy Fluffy loves her and felt comfortable right from the start at her houseboat. She has taken excellent care of him when we had to go on longer trips and kindly sent happy photos of him while we were away. This is very reassuring to my young son who was very worried especially the first time we left him in Sid’s care. She has given me some great dog training advice! I cannot more highly recommend her services. Enjoy!
My dog loves going to Sid’s house. She pulls at her leash with happy anticipation as we make our way along the dock to Sid’s beautiful houseboat. Sid has a calm, loving energy towards pets and their people. She is prompt in her communications and always send updates and photos of my dog frolicking with the other guest pooches. An experienced sitter and trainer Sid has saved me mountains of worry during various medical treatments when I could not care for my dog properly. My friend Sid has been caring for, boarding, and training my dogs for more than ten years now, and my spouse and I trust her completely with them. In the early years it was our Labrador Retriever, Della and my little mixed-breed, Archie, and their behavior and mood was so fantastic when we'd pick them up, I wondered how Sid did it. It's love. She now has our Chihuahua/Daschund mix, Cocoa whenever we go out of town, or need just an overnight. With pets, Sid is especially attentive to their needs, trains them in sociability and keeps them safe. Cocoa is always happy to be with Sid. There is no person I trust more with my sweet pup than Sid, and no person my pup would rather be with! The level of care and peace of mind she provides is truly outstanding. Not only does she love my dog as her own but her expertise in dog training was so helpful during the early months with our puppy. We were lucky enough to call Sid our neighbor as well and each time we passed her house our dog would try to drag us there to see her!
