We felt at home right away. Judy and Ben are so welcoming. Their comfy home has lovely views across Kendal and the surrounding countryside. You can see Kendal Castle and the Town Hall and hear its bell chimes. With access from the downstairs kitchen, a patio garden offers a nice sunny space to relax with a cuppa and Lemmy. No need for a car. Judy kindly picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. The high street with shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets is just a few minutes walk downhill through a network of steps and lanes. If you do a big shop the local 44 bus comes up the hill and will drop you just across the road from the house. There are lots of great walks locally in Serpentine Woods and beyond plus green spaces nearby for ball games with Lemmy. It’s easy to get into the Lakes by bus or take a train to Windermere. Lemmy is a treasure - gorgeous, loveable, easygoing and very responsive. Great fun to walk, play with and cuddle up to. He came everywhere with us. Really missing Lemmy and would welcome the opportunity to spend time with him again.
I had a wonderful experience housesitting for Beth with Boo! Beth has a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood and she was so welcoming and thoughtful. I was given a very thorough and super-helpful welcome guide with all the information I could need in it and Beth helped me to get to know the lovely neighbors and the area before she left, for which I am very grateful. Beth was very good about answering any questions I had while she was away and we kept in close contact with a weekly call which was also great. Boo is a sweet little dog, very protective and we became good friends. I've been missing her since I left. She was a wonderful companion for me! Beth, thank you so much!! This was a wonderful experience and I am missing Boo and I would love to return for another sit anytime!
Fran and Mark were welcoming hosts and the house was absolutely lovely to stay in. We would recommend this sit to anyone!
Victoria was quite proactive with pre-trip communication. Tom drafted a binder w/ detailed insights. At the beginning of our stay, Karen and I joined Victoria and Tom for an eclipse party... afterwards we received tortoise training, a hot tub setup tutorial, remote controls instruction, coffee prep tips and hands-on practice w/ tortoise meal preparation. Victoria and Tom are quite energetic and passionate about travel, history, running, their Curbside Little Library and of course, Sweet Pea! Caring for Sweet Pea is a remarkable experience. She loves her greens, she systematically munches on the lawn and she "tortoise-jogs" about the property chasing down sunny spots as the afternoon progresses. Sweet Pea emerges from her home and retires for the night on her own schedule... she is not a fussy eater! It was easy to sustain a grip on the house and outdoor areas. Karen and I explored Austin's ultra-cool outdoor areas, tasty eateries and interesting shops... the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Torchy's Tacos, The Broken Spoke and Lavaca Street Bar are all within walking distance. The Butler Trail around Ladybird Lake is a magnificent Austin Treasure. We experienced Malin the Troll in Pease Park, an awesome 18 foot high art installation crafted by Thomas Dambo. During our stay, we statused Victoria every couple days... offering updates on Sweet Pea's wandering and Little Library happenings. Victoria always expressed appreciation for the updates! We very much enjoyed experiencing life w/ Sweet Pea and highly recommend Victoria and Tom as hosts!
Amazing sit! Carissa welcomed me with open arms and Pico seemed to take to me immediately! Great location with lots of privacy. 10/10 recommend :)

Dropped my kitten off for a few hours, and she was well taken care of. I received a few pics and an update of my kitten acclimating, and it was very much appreciated. She really loves animals and does a wonderful job taking care of them. I would recommend her to anyone looking to board family pets.
My 12 year old EXTREMELY timid rescue cat spent a week at Pet Angel Inn. She was so loved and well cared for. I am grateful. She loved her 'spa time' with Irina.
