We had such a relaxing stay with Happy, Nala and the rabbits. The location is so quiet and serene. The perfect place to unwind. So much of our time was spent sitting next to the fire while looking at the incredible view and witnessing the mesmerizing sunsets. There are also many walking trails through the forest that surrounds the house. You don’t have to worry about getting lost as Happy is very eager to guide you on all his favorite trails. That is definitely the perfect name for him. He is always excited to be with you and join whatever you are doing, no matter if it’s a dance party together (yes he will try to copy your dance moves) or sharing a lazy afternoon nap. Nala is a sweetheart who loves spending the evenings snuggled up with you by the fire. The rabbits pretty much do their own thing but while we were there Zucchina required some medicine (very easy to give it to her). We formed a fast bond during our time with her and it was so heartwarming to see her get more energetic and active as each day went by. Dawn was beyond accommodating. The sit was split into three smaller sits, so we had some time when we were all staying there together. Dawn took a day off to show us the Christmas events in two other towns. She prepared some wonderful meals for us, and she kept us with a never ending supply of delicious Italian pastries. We also had a great time getting to know Dawn and hearing all about her life in Italy. We hope to come back again in the future and catch up with her and hear all about her latest adventures.
