A big thank you to Guy and Kelsey for inviting us to sit - we had a wonderful (albeit very rainy) stay in the Cotswolds with Jeff, Lily and Maggie in their beautiful home. Jeff and Lily were a delight to walk - they’re both very relaxed and we fell in love with them right away - lots of fireside cuddles in store too! Maggie is a delight too - like most cats, she keeps to herself but was very friendly in the mornings and she has a sweet temperament. The house itself is lovely too - just a 20min drive from nearby supermarkets and located near to some lovely pubs, one is just around the corner. Some great walks through fields and woodland from the doorstep too. Guy and Kelsey were very welcoming and relaxed, and we’d love to sit for them again :)
Dave and Helen are wonderful people. They're fun, interesting and well-traveled. They treated us like family from the moment we first connected on Zoom. We were picked up from the station (and dropped off after the sit), fed amazing meals, given Christmas presents, and shown around the area so we could get the lay of the land. Helen even made me a birthday cake when she heard it was my birthday! Yes, they're that nice. Their house is beautiful - a massive, renovated French farmhouse with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. My son enjoyed playing outside on the trampoline and with the games around the house. The pets were so much fun. The three dogs have very distinct personalities and they made us laugh every day. They are great with children and love to cuddle. We miss them so much! The chickens are easy to care for. They are let out each morning and closed in at night. This is the perfect sit for families and anyone looking to get away from it all. Thanks again for everything, Helen and Dave!
We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit in Whitchurch. A lovely market town with all the essentials in a nice size town, where we met so many lovely people. There are numerous supermarkets, cafes, a lot of history, and close to the transport links of Nantwich for National Express coaches, and the huge rail interchange of Crewe rail station. Katherine and Paul are nice hospitable folks. We enjoyed getting to know them and got on very well. They have a lovely home and Teddy, their Samoyed has a lovely nature. Teddy likes company and is never far away. He really is a nice dog. Teddy loves his walks and makes sure they happen in good time. He has a good routine and we found we worked well together as we got to know each other while his Mum and Dad were away. We did spoil him a bit, but couldn’t help ourselves. Katherine and Paul were kind enough to pick us up at Crewe and drop us off at Nantwich, making arrival and departure easy. We made sure we were there the day prior, and the night they returned. This ensured a smooth handover and plenty of laughs discussing the nuances of Teddy. He is a ball of fluff, and we took to each other dearly. Playing ball and lots of loving cuddles and pats. He really is gorgeous and quite a loving dog. The house is easy to look after with the essentials you require making for a nice, comfortable stay. And combined with Teddy, we would do it again in a heartbeat. With big hugs and warm regards, to Katherine, Paul and Teddy.
Taking care of Sebastian and Felix was a pleasure and an honor! They are both adorable, independent, very affectionate, sweet, and gentle cats. They stay all-time at home and enjoy human company. They like to play in the evenings with the many toys that are available. In the mornings they wake you up in the bed asking for cuddles. They love playing and made you smile from day to night. They expel cat hair, but there is a powerful vacuum cleaner to keep the place as neat and clean as they like. The apartment is beautiful and the location is stunning. It is located just in the center of Brig and surrounded by immense snow-capped mountains. It is also well communicated by public transport. In less than 1 hour of traveling, you can reach Zermatt, the Aletsch glacier, Leukerbad, and more. I had the chance to visit the beautiful towns around Brig and do some beautiful hiking trips, and I loved them. It was such a reward! The communication with Kaelyn was always very good. She was reachable at all times, and she helped me quickly solve any kind of question and request we made. It was by far one of the best house sittings I have done. Thanks, Kaelyn for blessing me with this opportunity.
We really enjoyed meeting Janice and spending a couple days with Mille and Choco. Mille was a treat to be around and was very easy to care for. She likes to pull on the leash while walking but was not a problem. Choco moved very slow and was way less energized that Mille - but he enjoyed sitting in the chair beside us a lot. And he can really snore up a storm too. House is really nice and comfortable and location is great - with the beach a few minutes walk away and St. Augustine only a short drive. Just a great pet sit. It would have been nice to get the Welcome Guide before arrival to help prepare for what needs to be done, but Janice did a good job reviewing responsibilities upon our arrival and had written information there too.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Gorgeous pets are no trouble at all. Beautiful home in convenient location. Love to sit for you again
