Jen was a wonderful guest to have as my "Trusted House/Pet sitter”!!! She was clean, responsible, and respectful. She took good care of my pups and of my home. I would have her back anytime!!!
Oh! What a kind and warm welcome I received from Vicki (and Finley, of course). There were plenty of instructions (clear direction on where Finley did and didn't want to walk, local hikes, etc.) and the home was clean and comfortable. I even let Vicki know that my son would be with me for a few days of my sit, and she left out a box full of trucks for him! So appreciated. Vicki is the best of strangers to meet, warm, communicative and easy going. I hosted a near by friend and her dog, and Finley had a blast hosting/playing in the gorgeous backyard. The neighborhood was safe, the home clean and quiet and the surrounding areas beautiful.
We enjoyed our time in Nigel and Melanie's lovely, comfortable and spacious home, looking after the stoic, patient Noodle and her playful, energetic daughter, Nala. Both dogs enjoyed their walks - though Noodle sometimes had to be convinced that a walk was a good idea - once she got going, she was fine. Nala had no hesitation in going out and exploring the woods, lanes and trails in the very near surroundings and always returned promptly to me when called. She also loved to play indoors or in the large garden. Both dogs are very well trained, amusing and loved chopped up crunchy veggies as treats if I was preparing (human) food! Communications were easy, prompt and helpful, the village pub served excellent food and the village is very easy to drive to/from.
Millie and Jeff were super-easy to look after. Millie was a bit excitable on our first night but settled really well after that. She particularly loved walks and fetching her toys, and is totally endearing. Jeff, like many cats, is a bit more aloof, but would come and sit with us on the couch in the evenings. The house is comfortable and really well located in Milford Haven, close to the town centre, the waterfront, the railway station and bus stops. Rhian's communication couldn't be faulted. She responded quickly and helpfully to any of our questions. She and her partner made us feel most welcome on arrival too. We'd certainly recommend this sit.
Annie + Alec were 5⭐ hosts. Commincative while out of country. Considerate of me being in their home (cleanliness, fresh towels and sheets, amenities, and welcome guide and prep). Amazing location (so walkable) and very quiet. Okay now for the star of the show, Max. I'm a bit biased with schnauzers (😄)! Max is well-behaved, adorably cuddly, loving, smart, leash-trained, and so fun to play with. He'll watch me work before our walks and let's me know when is walk time. He even goes super long mileage with ease (great for distance walker sitters). Excited to sit him again soon.
We just had such a sweet time at Reillys home. Her house is comfortable, convenient and welcoming. Communication with Reilly was easy and effortless. Her babies are just the best. Siggy the big sweet lazy one, Bimini loves to lay right on your chest and the spunky sassy one Lucky made for a full on love fest! Cuddles cuddles cuddles- Thanks for letting us spend time and love on your babies.
Since I worked for the park service for so long it was hard for me to have pets, but sitting Uni made me remember how much a sweet and playful cat brings joy to a home. Uni is a stunning cat and her markings remind me of a beautiful jungle fishing cat. It was so much fun to play chase with her mouth and string toys, but the highlight was definitely reading a book with Uni purring in my lap. Cathy was an excellent host and thoughtfully provided all of the information I needed to set me up for success. I was grateful that she was quick to respond whenever I had a question. The home is beautiful, clean, and spacious. There were cozy places for me to work and room to roll out my yoga mat. The kitchen is well equipped. One of my favorite details was how Cathy thoughtfully shared her love of coffee and method brewing a delicious cup. I felt safe in the neighborhood and it is conveniently located to public transportation and grocery stores.
