I recommend this sit! Communication with Lucy was easy going, funny, kind and helpful. Nena is a chill and happy cat. I enjoyed her company. She’s the most content indoor cat I have met. Which I find impressive. Most indoor cats I encountered seem a bit stressed out in some way by the indoor life. But she really enjoys her little kingdom. And she likes human company. There’s really nothing more to do than simply being with her to take care of her. Super chill and easy sit. I felt really comfortable in Lucy‘s flat. It’s bright and spacious. Comfortable bed, too. And the location is perfect to explore Basel city. Thank you Lucy!
Benji, is such a beautiful dog, we really didn’t want to leave him! Stayed here for a week and walked to lots of places with Benji, such as Malahide Castle, the village and local parks. Small supermarkets and coffee van a short walk from the house. Rhona was kind enough to drop us at our accomodation and pick us up from the train the day before as we didn’t have a car.
Hazel and Gray are both very sweet, but very different. It was fun to be with them. Pet parents were very responsive and thoughtful.
I really enjoyed my stay in Almeria. Coralyn was very welcoming and kind. She picked me up and dropped me at the airport. Coralyn kindly showed me around the neighbourhood and gave me very useful instruction for my traveling by public transport, about the house and Mishmish. I also enjoyed our talk, she is such an inspiration :-) The house was very comfortable, and the back terrace was hidden paradise, so relaxing. Mishmish is a darling, she was very affectionate and cuddly. Very easy to look after, she kept me company during my studying and relaxing time. She regularly checked on me, sometimes she was sleeping with me or she just came for cuddle before sleep or in the morning. She is a dream cat :-) I can highly recommend this housesitting and I would be very happy to come again. Thank you

I am so lucky to have found Samantha to walk my 2 dogs. I have one large dog that is not that well-behaved during walks and is extremely strong. She is a complete professional and they loved her immediately. It was easy to schedule and I trusted Samantha and her husband, who assisted a few times, the minute I met them. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a larger, strong dog.

Samantha and Pete did drop ins for Nessa, Diesel (AKA Sniffles) and Stella from Aug. 1-Aug. 5, 2024. They were amazing they not only cared for our animals as if they were their own but took care of the house as well. We finally had a vacation that we felt safe with the care our animals were receiving. Stella is our recent rescue and she is very nervous but opened up to Samantha and Pete. They came and did 2 home visits to meet the animals before we left for no extra charge. They are also extremely reasonably priced for the care they provide. I will be recommending them to everyone I know that needs a pet sitter or boarding and will definitely personally use them again! ❤️🐾
Highly recommend! Samantha and Peter stayed at our house to watch our 10 month old puppy for 5 days. They provided updates and photos each day which we loved seeing! We can’t wait to use them again!

Sam and Pete were amazing! They were very accommodating, flexible, and left us feeling at ease about leaving our pup with them. They sent constant updates and pictures. I am one of the most anxious dog moms, so when it came time for us to leave for a wedding over the weekend where all our friends and loved ones would be, I was panicking knowing we did not have someone who could look after our doggo. After a brief search for someone local, I came across Wags and Woof and contacted Samantha and Pete to see if they could do drop ins while we were away. To start, they were super responsive and listened to all of our needs. We arranged a meet and greet where they were both present and asked amazing questions to make sure they knew everything about our dog. This immediately calmed my nerves knowing they were asking the right questions and made sure our dog was able to open up to them. Leading up to the weekend we were away, Samantha did an amazing job with communication making sure she knew all the important details like timeline, how to get in, where to take Ziggy for walks, etc. which once again, made me feel so much more confident in our decision. For the weekend itself, I cannot say enough to appreciate our gratitude. Samantha communicated every detail to us, sent us pictures, was flexible with walking our dog an extra time, was prompt on the times we asked to stop by for the drop ins, and left our house immaculate. When we got home, we could tell our dog was happy and was not stressed while we were away which is the best possible feeling. Again, I cannot thank Samantha and Pete enough and we are so gracious we found two lovely local folks who truly care about dogs like we do and can trust to take care of our doggo. My precious Sadie was soooo taken care of overnight! The minute I walked in, I knew she wouldn’t do well amongst all the other dogs. The owner said no problem and took her in his arms and said she’ll b fine rooming free with me. Can’t stop talking about how wonderful this facility is !!! From the moment you and your pet walk in everyone is so welcoming. I toured many other daycares and Besties stands out like no other and go above and beyond filling each day with fun activities and each room is colorful and has a jungle gym!! My rescue we just adopted unfortunately was abused and has some issues related to that and they took the time and patience with her to make sure my dog was comfortable with them first which I so appreciated. Gloria and Domingo are phenomenal people. We are new to Besties 4 Paws and I already feel like I'm leaving my little fur baby in the trusted hands of family. Ashley is a doll and we love that our dog was attached to her since day one, but all the employees there are really so great!! As soon as you walk in the door, you can feel the warmth in the air. We needed somewhere for our fur baby to spend some weekdays since we can't always make it home from work to walk her during the day, but we also wanted her brain to be stimulated and for her to get used to being around different people and animals. We couldn't be happier that Besties 4 Paws is right down the road from us, however, now knowing how amazing they are, I would drive a great distance to leave my dog with them. It's a wonderful place. We already notice positive changes in our baby girl!!! The fun crafts and activities Gloria arranges for the pups is just the cherry on top of it all!!! Thank you!!! :)

I worked with Besties 4 Paws in the past when I lived nearby. Now I’m half hour away but there isn’t another place I would trust with my fur babies. I recently went away for a week and left my 2 Poms at Besties 4 Paws. They came back happy & clean (smelled better than when we dropped them off)! We’ll keep taking that extra half hour drive just so we don’t have to worry whenever we are away!! Thank you so much for the great care taken!!

This is our first time using their services while away in Florida for 6 days. The service is first class and amazing! Gloria and Domingo are not good, they are great! The service, attention to detail, their daily picture updates, and all they did with our little Louie made us feel like he was in his own spa. :) We are beyond pleased as for years we were hoping to find a place like this. My dog absolutely loves it here! As soon as he realizes where we're going he's always excited. He loves the staff and they are great. I love the fact that he can go outside anytime he wants to go to the bathroom. Most of the other daycares I've been to they charge extra to walk them and my dog usually just holds it in while I'm gone all day. This is the first place I'm completely comfortable leaving him.

Our Bella goes mostly twice a week and she loves it. Gets her exercise and social time in. She gets so excited when we get close. Staff is excellent!
Our dog hated going to daycare at Happy Hound. He has no problem going to other daycares, but something about Happy Hound made him extremely agitated. For other daycares, he marches right in and is excited to play, but with Happy Hound he was always dragging his feet and was very clearly upset to be going there. We are no longer using this daycare, and our dog is much happier at his new daycare.
Great place for dogs to play and socialize with both indoor and outdoor space. Also has DIY wash for dogs, as well as, groomers who take appointments. Friendly and loving staff!
We have been using Happy Hound since August and couldn’t be happier. Our pup is always excited when we pull into the parking lot. She comes home tuckered out. We got her as a rescue and we definitely think Happy Hound has contributed to her adjusting well and her socialization. They are very good about communicating about any changes (ex. rare closing for inclement weather) or any promotions (like when they bring in a photographer and you “pay” with a monetary donation to a local rescue and have pics taken of your pup). The staff is very friendly. The place is always clean (and smells clean!). The grooming service in house is very convenient. Reasonably priced. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our dog has been coming for months. As soon as we pull into the parking lot he goes nuts- He runs right inside and is so excited! They take such good care of the dogs and our dog comes home exhausted from playing all day. The staff is awesome here. Highly recommend!!
Bryan Reisz is remarkable. For about a decade, he cared for our two golden retrievers, one young and rambunctious, the other sweet, mellow and a bit older. Bryan was perfect for both. Long romps, swimming, attention to any issues that came up. Lots of exercise, lots of fun. Not sure who was happier to see Bryan come by -- the dogs or us. He truly is a dog whisperer. Our dogs would stay with him when we left town and we knew they were having a ball. He is caring, knowledgeable and is as good as it gets in the dog world. We had complete confidence in Bryan to ensure our dogs were well cared for and safe. We know that others will have the same great experience.

Our pups have been coming to The Spotted Dog since it opened back in 2013. We have boarded, done day care as well as grooming. Both of our Coton du Tulear pups have recently found their favorite groomer, Deanna. She is awesome. She listens to what you want and delivers each time. They love her as do we. Thank you Deanna❤️
I have been exceptionally happy with every service I have gotten from here! But, it's my dog's reaction walking in that clinches it for me! The super friendly staff make her feel so comfortable and special that she trots right into daycare without even looking back to see where I am. This is always followed by a picture of her with one of her doggy friends at some point during the day! Special collection of memories I'll have forever! They were so patient and helpful when I was having anxiety about leaving my girl with them for the first time while I traveled! LOVE the grooming, LOVE LOVE the boarding, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Daycare! PLUS, the trainer they have come in to teach the classes is absolutely FANTASTIC! I can't say enough good things!
I moved here a year ago and left my home of 3 years , my job of 4 years. and the daycare, where my dog would board and go to once or twice a week. It was rough but I found this wonderful place for Piper .I never thought I would feel comfortable again with another Daycare but it’s happened and I am so happy but more importantly Piper loves to come and she loves the staff. She goes crazy in the car when we pull in the parking lot and pulls me on the leash to get in the door. I trust them completely with her and she has boarded too. We just moved to the area and were in search for a groomer for our Australian shepherd. He is high anxiety and we are very particular about his groom. I can not say enough good things about The spotted dog. We are absolutely thrilled with how beautiful our dog looks. They were kind and understanding of our concerns, and honestly don’t believe we have ever had him look as good as he does now. So happy with finding this groomer and would refer anyone in the area to the spotted dog.

We were nervous about leaving our pooch with strangers, but from day one the staff did nothing but love on our Tanner, immediately putting our minds at ease. Love how they share videos and pics throughout the day too. Highly recommend.
I have a Samoyed husky. She’s been coming to this groomer for years. She gets the same very specific instructions every cut. Trimmed on body, face, and ears, very little on legs and tail. Today I came back and she was shaved to her skin. Samoyeds have pink skin and need their thick coats to protect from the sun and regulate heat. The vet said she could get sun poisoning and her coat might take a year to grow back. The lady at the front desk was extremely passive and just wanted me off the phone when discussing a refund. I’ve posted before and after photos of my dog. I’m livid. Why would you shave a dog so short unless asked to do so.
Great place for our Shitzu! He gets so excited when we bring him for daycare. They also do a fabulous groom. The staff love dogs, and you can tell!!!!! Highly recommended!!!
I cannot recommend a better local dog walker! Mike makes it easy to schedule walks in advance and on an as-needed basis. All of the walkers are lovely and my dog is so excited when they arrive!
Priscilla absolutely loves going to Camp BowWow. Everyone there is amazing. I love when she does her extra activities that I get pictures of her having fun. It’s a nice little surprise while I am at work. She also has started her training and I was given great instructions on how to reinforce everything at home. This is a great way to keep my high energy pup happy and busy while I am work. I highly recommend.
We love Camp Bowow! My dog only goes once a month but the staff always remember her. They are incredibly kind because she is so skittish. We have used them for overnight care and they are great! I never worry leaving my dog with them. The facility is clean and welcoming!
The facility was nice and large and clean. Cool inside. The cabins were very large for the dogs to stay in. I was pleased with the tour and the transparency. I love the fact that they have cameras to take a look at if you want to check on your dog. I like the options for indoor and outdoor activities and the extracurricular activities. The staff was very informative and friendly. I will be boarding my husky there this coming week Very excited He came home very tired! I liked the report card as well. It made me feel secure that he was in good hands and the staff wasn't afraid of a big dog. Huskys are mouthy players and I get nervous that it can be confused for aggression. They were great with him and I 10/10 recommend.
I brought two dogs here including a 10 month old puppy who weighs only ten pounds. I told them one of my dogs is 11 years old and the puppy is scared of big dogs. They advised she would be kept separate with small dogs however I saw multiple large dogs in the same area on the cameras. I was never made aware that my dogs would only get 2 hours in the entire day to be walked on Christmas Day. This means they got to go potty twice and that's all. I was checking the cameras and never saw them even be let out a second time. Only allowing a puppy two potty breaks is terrible!! I also noticed my puppy's towel was soaking wet and recently washed meaning she was probably forced to soil herself in her crate since no one was caring for her. When I called the staff to discuss they had no idea of anything that happened. There is absolutely no care for the dogs. I spend half this at a place in FL and they assign overnight counselors that literally pet the dogs to sleep and send us photos and report cards after. I will never bring my animals back here. They do not care. The place is also filthy and my dogs STINK. They could not wait to get out of that place
I love how staff get to know your dog and really care. They send photos and videos during special play sessions. We feel comfortable knowing that our boy is with friends at Camp Bow Wow and he is always super happy to go back.
Didn’t last two days here, first day picked him up early because a dog in the room was relentless wouldn’t leave him alone (they claimed he just wanted to play) second day he was picked up early because there were about 16 dogs in the “room” with him of all sizes up to 40 lbs about 20 when I got there. He’s a 8 month old puppy (the man who worked there kept saying sorry we don’t have a room for teacups hello he’s 14 lbs and claimed there were 2 workers in the room well the camera should have showed 2) Your dog will come home wet and dirty each day and today my puppy smelled like a dog urinated all over him and now I have to bathe him. All I wanted was fun positive environment for my puppy to play and socialize. Thank goodness for cameras this was a nightmare.
Our dog Callie is super energetic and a lot to handle but the employee's at Camp Bow Wow are extremely patient with her and take great care of her. If youre looking to board your dog this is the place!

Penny had a great day during her first visit at camp bow wow. I enjoyed the tour. I like how each pup has their own cubby to keep their food and leashes organized. I loved watching the dogs play on the puppy cam. Camp bow wow was very accommodating. I appreciated having a choice of keeping penny in the play area all day or getting a lunch break for a couple of hours. We will definitely be back.
Couldn't be a more caring, kind service for your pet. Over Christmas, Lisa took the time to buy a particular cat food she thought my cat might eat. He was eating very little at the time & Lisa hoped this might help. I was away & feeling worried & Lisa did all she could to keep me informed & get Shadow back to good health. So grateful.
Lisa and her staff are incredible! We've used Nature's Nanny for various pets over the last several years, and they have always taken great care of them. We appreciate the notes and photos they send after each visit. For our last service, in addition to Lisa taking care of our two cats, we had to make last minute arrangements to have our dog taken care of when my mother-in-law had a medical emergency and couldn't watch him anymore. Lisa was so accommodating, which made us feel so much better about being far away from home. We will continue to use Nature's Nanny for all of our pet care needs whenever we go away for extended periods.
I needed a reliable dog sitter who could give my dog meds twice a day and sometimes doesn't want to take them. Lisa was able to get them down for him. She sends me photos and updates for every visit. My work plans changed and she was able to accommodate that as well. As a dog mom with a dog with health issues, it is a huge sigh of relief to have someone trustworthy and caring taking care of him! From the second we met with Lisa, we knew we ( and our VERY particular kitty) were in excellent hands! It’s not easy to entrust someone you don’t know personally into your home to take care of your furry family member while you are away. Lisa interviewed us as much as we interviewed her, and we truly felt like her expertise and experience made her an extremely trustworthy caretaker. We couldn’t have been more impressed! Despite the fact that our cat becomes territorial and downright vicious with strangers, Lisa managed to feed, change the litter, and even attempt to socialize with her, while knowing exactly how to handle such a difficult cat. We got a daily log of the day’s activities, as well as pictures and text updates. When we got home, it was obvious that an unbelievable amount of care and attention had gone into her, and she behaved as if we’d never left.( In fact, her litter box was better cared for than I think we even do!) We can not recommend Nature’s Nanny Pet Service and Lisa enough!!!! We have already used her services twice, and will continue to do so in the future.I felt like she cared for our cat as much as we do, and was professionally able to handle her in a way that neighbors and family members were unable to. We are so grateful, and have recommended her to several people, and will continue to do. I highly recommend giving yourself complete peace of mind, and hiring such a fantastic service. I only wish we had found Nature’s Nanny’s Pet Service sooner!

Laurie has been so great taking care of our two dogs while we are away! The pups love her and we always feel good about leaving them in her very capable hands! We'll continue to use her services and would recommend her to anyone!
We are so happy we found Blissful Wags! Laurie, the owner, has been a lifesaver from day one! When our pup was younger we used her drop-in services, which gave us great piece of mind. As soon as he was old enough, we brought our dog to day camp and I’m not sure who loves it more, us or him! Laurie has a beautiful fenced in yard where all the dogs are free to run around and play. Beau loves to spend the day playing with his friends. Laurie updates us regularly throughout the day with pictures and videos. She is so reliable, great with the dogs, and really truly loves them as her own. We are so thankful we found Blissful Wags and would give 10 stars if we could!
Can't say enough good things about Blissful Wags! I've heard so many horror stories about dogs being kenneled and unattended to so I was extremely nervous when looking for a dog sitter for my new puppy. We first did a "meet and greet" With Laurie and our boy to see if it was a good fit. We were happy with the layout and vibe so we decided to proceed. In the beginning we were only there sporadically to ease our pup into the transition, but now it's like his second home! Our baby went from a nervous little pup who kept to himself to a confident, playful dog! Laurie is so good with the dogs and truly cares about each as if they are her own. Also, she frequently sends pictures which is so important to an anxious person like myself! My mind is completely at ease while I'm at work and our boy is at play. 10/10 recommend!
We found Blissful Wags after we adopted our 7 month old rescue this past January. She had energy to burn and loves to play and this was the perfect fit! Laurie the owner has been such a gift. Not only is she fantastic with the dogs she's a terrific human as well. Our now one year old pup goes on a regular basis including some overnights. Laurie is very careful to screen all new dogs and there are no kennels. It's a huge fenced in yard with ramps, slides, ropes and a pool. Inside is completely dog proofed and clearly catered to the dogs needs with beds and chews. I know that when I leave our girl she is in good hands!
Blissful Wags is the best! My Brittany, Piper loves when Laurie is taking care of her. Laurie walks and plays with your dog and updates you with pictures. . I cannot say enough good things about Blissful Wags!
Laurie is The Dog Whisperer! My recently adopted rescue dog had many social issues with people and other dogs. Not with Blissful Wags. He adores Laurie and definitely misses being there. What a comfort that was. Couldn’t recommend more!
My puppy loves Blissful Wags! Laurie takes great care of all her puppies and sends multiple photos throughout the day. It’s so great to have a puppy daycare/staycation where you can rely on someone to make sure your puppy is comfortable and always having fun! Cannot recommend enough. My puppy is always excited to go and hangout with her friends 😊
I am so happy I found Blissful Wags! The owner, Laurie is fantastic! She is trustworthy and truly loves and cares for my dog. Her home has a huge fenced in yard and the dogs are free to roam anywhere in the house. Lexi loves staying over and always has a blast! I highly recommend them! I would give Blissful Wags 10 stars, if I could! You and your furry loved ones won’t be disappointed. Blissful Wags is the only place I trust completely to watch my furry child!
Our corgis absolutely love it at Blissful Wags. Laurie is so incredible with dogs and makes them feel right at home while sending us lots of photos and updates. I can see how much she loves the pups that she watches whether it's overnight boarding or daycare. I never worry about leaving our dogs with her as I know they are extremely well cared for!
Have had a good experience here , the groomers appear friendly and my dog always seems happy when she comes out. We always discuss the look prior to getting her haircut. Only taking 1 star off because my poodle was not really given the haircut agreed upon prior to the groom. Usually they’re pretty good, but this time around, they trimmed all the hair off the ears. Just hope next time they let me know if the decision was made because she was too matted or needed the trim. I also don’t like that they don’t brush their teeth. Overall good experience with these groomers and seem like they care to treat the dogs well.
Madison Dog Resort is amazing! The staff is so caring, and the facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our French Bulldog loves it here and always comes home happy. We especially appreciate the updates and photos they send. Highly recommend for top-notch pet care!
Picked up my dog from this place and he was dirty and had a mark on his face didn’t think much of it until after we washed him we noticed he had a bite mark on his face that looked like they had cleaned up well. After bringing the dog to the vet it turned out to be a dog bite and the spa never said anything about it but definitely knew about it . Needless to say I won’t be using there facility . again after barely being able to stand how bad the smell is inside and not disclosing my dog was injured and felt like they were waiting for us to notice if we saw the bite but it didn’t start to show until we cleaned him .
My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!
We absolutely LOVE the Madison! We board our Boxer puppy here when we go away. The owner Ryan went above and beyond for us ..being the first time we were so nervous to leave her. Highly highly recommend the Madison for your pup! Great experience overall!
I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! When I picked him up, he was clean from his bath, well cared for, and had an absolute blast playing with his new doggie friends! I can’t recommend this enough for any dog owner. Thank you Madison Dog Resort & Spa for taking such amazing care of my boy. We will absolutely be back!
I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!
I absolutely LOVE the Madison! The staff is wonderful and caring! I feel completely confident in their dedication and love for dogs. The facility is clean and the staff is always taking such great care of the dogs. My dog gets so excited when we turn the corner heading to doggie daycare at the Madison! They have become like family!
Absolutely love The Madison! My dog has been going since he was old enough. He’s grown up at The Madison and enjoys his time there. The staff treats him like their own. They are so nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much from them . Being a first time dog owner, they have been a huge help . I recommend The Madison to everyone I know . We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.
