My precious Sadie was soooo taken care of overnight! The minute I walked in, I knew she wouldn’t do well amongst all the other dogs. The owner said no problem and took her in his arms and said she’ll b fine rooming free with me. Than took her home with him over night and sent me the mist adorable pic of him giving her a belly rub which she loves. Thank u again for giving our Sadie a great stay with you.

Besties is the absolute BEST in caring for my baby girl!! It is hard to believe that anyone could love my dog more than me ... but Gloria, Dom, Ryan and everyone at Besties does. From our first visit my Sunny girl has become part of their family! Words don't adequately describe the trust, comfort, and love my Sunny and I get from everyone at Besties!!

Can’t stop talking about how wonderful this facility is !!! From the moment you and your pet walk in everyone is so welcoming. I toured many other daycares and Besties stands out like no other and go above and beyond filling each day with fun activities and each room is colorful and has a jungle gym!! My rescue we just adopted unfortunately was abused and has some issues related to that and they took the time and patience with her to make sure my dog was comfortable with them first which I so appreciated. Will be recommending to everyone I know !! Thank you !!

Gloria and Domingo are phenomenal people. We are new to Besties 4 Paws and I already feel like I'm leaving my little fur baby in the trusted hands of family. Ashley is a doll and we love that our dog was attached to her since day one, but all the employees there are really so great!! As soon as you walk in the door, you can feel the warmth in the air. We needed somewhere for our fur baby to spend some weekdays since we can't always make it home from work to walk her during the day, but we also wanted her brain to be stimulated and for her to get used to being around different people and animals. We couldn't be happier that Besties 4 Paws is right down the road from us, however, now knowing how amazing they are, I would drive a great distance to leave my dog with them. It's a wonderful place. We already notice positive changes in our baby girl!!! The fun crafts and activities Gloria arranges for the pups is just the cherry on top of it all!!! Thank you!!! :)

Our babies Zeus and Athena love Besties 4 Paws 🐾. Gloria is their second mom and we wouldn't leave our babies with anyone else. I.am extremely protective of my babies 🐶. Gloria and Dom are extremely loving and professional. Dogs can sense good vibes. Hands down I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies and we highly recommend them. ❤️

I worked with Besties 4 Paws in the past when I lived nearby. Now I’m half hour away but there isn’t another place I would trust with my fur babies. I recently went away for a week and left my 2 Poms at Besties 4 Paws. They came back happy & clean (smelled better than when we dropped them off)! We’ll keep taking that extra half hour drive just so we don’t have to worry whenever we are away!! Thank you so much for the great care taken!!

This is our first time using their services while away in Florida for 6 days. The service is first class and amazing! Gloria and Domingo are not good, they are great! The service, attention to detail, their daily picture updates, and all they did with our little Louie made us feel like he was in his own spa. :) We are beyond pleased as for years we were hoping to find a place like this. My dog absolutely loves it here! As soon as he realizes where we're going he's always excited. He loves the staff and they are great. I love the fact that he can go outside anytime he wants to go to the bathroom. Most of the other daycares I've been to they charge extra to walk them and my dog usually just holds it in while I'm gone all day. This is the first place I'm completely comfortable leaving him.

Our Bella goes mostly twice a week and she loves it. Gets her exercise and social time in. She gets so excited when we get close. Staff is excellent!

Our dog hated going to daycare at Happy Hound. He has no problem going to other daycares, but something about Happy Hound made him extremely agitated. For other daycares, he marches right in and is excited to play, but with Happy Hound he was always dragging his feet and was very clearly upset to be going there. We are no longer using this daycare, and our dog is much happier at his new daycare.

Great place for dogs to play and socialize with both indoor and outdoor space. Also has DIY wash for dogs, as well as, groomers who take appointments. Friendly and loving staff!

We have been using Happy Hound since August and couldn’t be happier. Our pup is always excited when we pull into the parking lot. She comes home tuckered out. We got her as a rescue and we definitely think Happy Hound has contributed to her adjusting well and her socialization. They are very good about communicating about any changes (ex. rare closing for inclement weather) or any promotions (like when they bring in a photographer and you “pay” with a monetary donation to a local rescue and have pics taken of your pup). The staff is very friendly. The place is always clean (and smells clean!). The grooming service in house is very convenient. Reasonably priced. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our dog has been coming for months. As soon as we pull into the parking lot he goes nuts- He runs right inside and is so excited! They take such good care of the dogs and our dog comes home exhausted from playing all day. The staff is awesome here. Highly recommend!!

Bryan Reisz is remarkable. For about a decade, he cared for our two golden retrievers, one young and rambunctious, the other sweet, mellow and a bit older. Bryan was perfect for both. Long romps, swimming, attention to any issues that came up. Lots of exercise, lots of fun. Not sure who was happier to see Bryan come by -- the dogs or us. He truly is a dog whisperer. Our dogs would stay with him when we left town and we knew they were having a ball. He is caring, knowledgeable and is as good as it gets in the dog world. We had complete confidence in Bryan to ensure our dogs were well cared for and safe. We know that others will have the same great experience.

I have 2 English Mastiffs who are 180 and 160lbs. They are 16 months old and although gentle giants, would not listen. I was referred to John Andronoco who trained them for 1 week. We brought them home today and it is a completely different house!! They listen. They sit. They are great!!! If you need a dog trained- I don’t care the age or size- GO TO JOHN!!!! He works miracles!!!! I do know his wife Stephanie runs the show (schedule) and probably feeding, but I never in my wildest dreams thought he could turn my girls around. We are always comforted by knowing that our beloved pup, Pee-wee, receives loving, attentive care from John and Steph at NJK9. Their home is a welcoming and engaging place for all dogs, and Pee-wee always comes back happy and tired from all of the fun he had during his stay. During his most recent stay, Steph thoughtfully sent us photos of Pee-wee's enjoyment in their backyard and interactions with their family. I wholeheartedly recommend their boarding services if you're looking for a reliable place for your dog to stay!

I highly recommend NJK9 Services dog boarding!! Our boy Buc has worked with Instructor John in the past and was thrilled to see him again! Buc was greeted with the warmest of welcomes by Stephanie at drop off and was eager to explore his weekend spot. I had total peace of mind throughout his stay as Stephanie and John provided several updates including pictures. He was truly treated like one of the family! We have already scheduled several future bookings!!!

I can’t say enough great things about NJK9 Services! They took care of my 1.5-year-old German Shepherd a few times. Most importantly they were a huge help during my wedding. They stopped by to walk him the night of my rehearsal dinner, ensuring he was well cared for during a hectic time. On the day of the wedding, John brought my dog to my nearby venue for our wedding photos. I was so glad he was in their hands the night of my wedding - stress free! Their attention to detail, flexibility, and genuine love for animals really shows. Everytime I come to pick up my boy, I could tell that my dog had been well cared for and was happy and relaxed. The environment they have and the set up is amazing and my dog loves their backyard! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. I can’t recommend NJK9 Services enough to anyone in need of boarding services. As a dog owner of 31 years, I never boarded my dogs before when traveling. This year, I finally found someone I trust enough to leave my 1 year old puppy, Zane, after being referred by our dog trainer, Cover K9. John and Stephanie immediately welcome Zane into their home and went above and beyond to make sure he was adjusting well being it was his first time away from home. I told them I wasn’t sure how he’d be with children and other dogs and they calmed my nerves. Their level of expertise with dogs paired with their passion of creating the best experience for our pups is evident in everything they do! I’m so grateful (as is Zane) to have found them!

I wish i could give NJK9 Services 10 stars instead of just 5. I have an almost two year old Belgian Malinois named Cookie, and have never felt comfortable leaving her with any dog daycare or even with any friends because of her breed and the amount of energy she has. But I can honestly say I trust NJK9 Services, John and Steph, to the fullest with Cookie. The amount of love and attention she gets is unmatched compared to a normal daycare. They provide updates during her stays and even pictures! Another HUGE positive is that they are extremely flexible with my crazy work hours and are able to accommodate with last minute asks (which would also be hard to find with any normal dog daycare). John also provides top notch obedience training for Cookie and myself. I've already recommended NJK9 Services to friends and I will continue to recommend them 100%.

Our sweet Luna had the best time at NJK9! We felt so safe leaving her in the hands of Stephanie and John. It made such a difference knowing that they truly understand dog behavior and needs. Huge bonus that John is an AKC certified trainer! We also loved that their two daughters gave Luna extra love while we were away. We are so thankful to have found them and cant wait for Luna to have fun with them again in November!

John and Stephanie do a great job watching my dog Tux. Their yard is double fenced which is reassuring since my dog is an escape artist. I second I drop him off, he’s running, playing, and doesn’t even notice me leave. I always feel great leaving him there because I know he’s having fun. The yard is big so he has plenty of space to get his energy out. They limit the number of dogs they watch which is great because my dog gets stressed in situations with too many dogs. They are great coordinating pick up and drop off. I absolutely recommend leaving your dog with NJL9!

I highly recommend North Jersey Pet Sitters. Making the arrangements with Brielle through their app is simple and she is a pleasure to work with. Jenn and Chris were great with my dogs. I have 2 older dogs, one diabetic and the other with a health issue as well. I was away for a few days and came home to happy well cared for dogs. The daily updates and photos made my time away worry and stress free. It’s a great feeling to know I can leave my pups with no worries.

Highly recommend!! We used their service during our vacation recently and they were wonderful. One of my dogs got eye problems right before our trip and needed eye drops. We were nervous about leaving our dog with medical issues but they took such a good care of him and eye issue was resolved when we returned. We had Emily and Elle. They were absolutely fantastic!! This place is the best. People are helpful, friendly, and very responsive. Explain everything clearly. They have back ups for pet sitters, they write up reports with pictures of your pet that you can see in their app while you are away. Mine reassured me the door was locked when she left. They can check mailbox, give you options of how long they can stay depending what you want for your pet. Reasonable price. I was very pleased. Highly recommend and will use again in future. You get to meet and show pet sitter your home and they meet pet before your first trip. Could not be more pleased. Very responsible and professional. Your pet will be in good hands.

North Jersey Pet Sitters is super reliable and have always done a great job in caring for our cat when we are away. Hi! I have been a client of NJ Pet Sitters since at least 2015, approximately 9 years! They have taken excellent care of my furbabies, and I don't trust just anyone with them. Most recently, Brielle, Melody, and Sarah took care of my two cats, while I had to travel for work for three months. I received daily reports and photos, and it was so comforting knowing that my girls were happy and well-cared for. They brought in my mail and kept an eye on my house too. The pricing is very fair, even though you can't put a price on peace of mind. I would highly recommend NJ Pet Sitters to anyone who needs quality in-home pet care.

I used their service for the first time not too long ago. I had an extended work trip to plan for. I didn’t want to leave my cats alone for that long but I also needed someone to give my asthmatic cat his inhaler treatments. He’s a shy cat so it’s not the easiest thing to do but Abigail and Jennifer were great with both of them. I highly recommend this service. My mind was at ease as they sent daily photos and updates. We hired Jennifer Brand, a dog trainer from the Madison, to help us with our newly adopted & very “zealous” 2yr German Shepard/lab mix who was taking his anxiety out on our 9 yr old lab & also just impossible to walk bc of his pulling. We went through several trainers before meeting Jennifer & she was AMAZING! She taught me (5’1 petite woman) how to walk my shepard on my own & calmed his anxiety issues. She worked with both dogs to create more harmony in the home. I was so skeptical of trainers & tired of spending $ on trainers before meeting Jennifer but she’s the real deal! Thank you Madison & Jennifer for improving our lives lol. If you have a big dog or have any dog that needs any training, Jennifer will use her intuition & skill to custom create solutions for you that actually WORK. It’s a pleasure to walk my 70lb dog now thanks to her!

My husband & I used to Board(when we had to go out of Town/State). As Well As, drop our Louie off @ Doggie Daycare. Now, this DID NOT HAPPEN ONLY 1 TIME! (Please keep that in mind) Louie is our “Child but, with PAWS” I’m going to Protect that lil Shih-Tzu with every breath I have! PLEASE, if you love & care for your dog & I know you do, BRING them somewhere else! I BEG YOU! If you are BOARDING YOUR DOG! TURN AROUND! WHY WEREN’T THERE ANY CAMERAS EVER OVERNIGHT? WHEN THEY HAD CAMERAS? & THEY WERE WORKING…!! I can guarantee you that your dog will come home to you with their own Poop all over them (YES! for DAYS & DAY!!)if you pick them up early from boarding, guaranteed!! I PROMISE YOU. FACT! You know what so Funny?? He offered me the $200 & something Dollars back for the Boarding. 1st I LAUGHED @ him & simply said, you are a horrible & would be a terrible businessman. 2nd I declined. Keep your $230.00 who is going to pay for her salary, the lights on, etc. etc. payroll. Here’s the funny part, turns to me & says, do you want me to clean up your dog for you? Should that even be a question?? Of course I declined again. Goes to show of why he would be a horrible businessman in this field. Names are going to be withheld. So with that said, this was not the first time, my dog has come home with Sh$T on him! Why would you bring your dog there overnight? Also, I have an apology from the owner Sean on voicemail saying how WRONG HIS HANDLER WAS blah..blah..blah.. Also, I have a text message from Sean (cause we didn’t reply to the voicemail of course) I can post that as well. Anything to Prevent anyone going there & Mostly, Protecting Those Precious Paws 🐾!

1000/10- Dog Boarding- The Madison Dog resort and Spa Wayne- They were wonderful and my dog thought so too! My dog has a lot of health conditions so I was nervous about finding a place that could accommodate that. Our vet is the one that recommended this place. They were incredibly personable, answered all my questions, were very thorough in paperwork and prep. They have cameras throughout so you can check on your dog. They are very clean and organized. They also do a behavioral test to make sure your dog can handle being handled by people and play with other dogs. You can tell they truly care about the dogs.

The Madison is the best place you can bring your dog. Shaun the owner is incredible! My wife and I had an emergency situation and needed to bring our child to the hospital for a few nights. Shaun stayed past 10pm and took both of our dogs. He was fully booked that night and cleared out an office so that my dogs could have a safe place. Shaun and his staff truly care about all the dogs that enter their facility. They go above and beyond for them and the people who leave their beloved pets in their care. They will always have my business!

I was recommended the Madison dogs resort & spa by a friend. I was very impressed by being able to see my dog in the playroom with all the other dogs at any time as I was able to install the app they told me about. My dog was there for 2 days. I called one day to ask about her and they had no problems telling how she was doing. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. A+++ service!

We have brought our dog to a lot of different groomers around the area, but this is by far the best place where he has come out looking his best. Great place and friendly staff!

We have been clients of The Madison Dog Resort & Spa Wayne since 2015. We board our dogs there but never took advantage of the daycare service until 2022 when we added a 2nd dog (puppy) to our “pack”. Now both “fur kids” visit at least once a week. They get to play and socialize with other dogs and come home EXHAUSTED. This has especially helped improve the younger one’s behavior as well…he’s just too tired to act out, lol. It’s a win/win for everyone. 😉

They are always available for last minute bookings, and it is such a relief to know my pet can always be taken care of when needed and is in such good hands.

The Pack is an extremely professional and organized company! The app makes scheduling so easy. Billing is automatic so I don’t have to think about it. I receive frequent notifications so I know when the walker arrives and how everything went. The walkers are always pleasant to deal with and flexible when I make requests. They are so sweet to my puppy. I absolutely recommend this service!!

Our neighbor uses them to walk their dogs and we watched them interact as though the dogs were their own. The owner Stephanie just reinforces that and you can tell she loves what she does. I feel so comfortable and confident in leaving our labradoodle with them— which is such a rare thing!! So happy we found them!

Max has been an absolute dream come true in training my two year old boxer, Bodhi. Max is strong and kind and Bodhi trusts and adores him. I am so grateful I can finally enjoy leash walks with Bodhi. Max is the sweetest, most dedicated dog trainer you could ask for. My puppy Jake was rescued when he was 12 weeks old and suffers from anxiety and is terrified of “walking anywhere near cars”. Max has been working with Jake for a few months now on private behavior training sessions, and Jake has improved tremendously. Max is very caring and Jake LOVES him! I witnessed his interactions with other dogs during a socialization class, and all the other dogs love him too! I 100% recommend Max as a trainer and I am beyond grateful for all that Max has done for us and our little Jake.

Max is an amazing dog trainer, and our puppy Angel Cake just loved him! We graduated from Max’s class back in March and typically, I don’t wright reviews, but in this case, I felt compelled to wright it even with such delay. We are the first-time dog grandparents and had to learn soo… much. Max was super helpful in every aspect: training, behaver, diet, even assisted us with dog related “emergency” calls after hours. Our doggy was a little stubborn with us training her, but in Uncle Max’s class, she was a supper student and Max was a magician. We are so glad we found Uncle Max and highly recommend him to any dog owner!

We brought our 3 dogs in to Max for an evaluation. He worked with my husband, and myself, along with our dogs to show us what we needed to do to help with their behavior issues. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of dog behavior and he genuinely cares and loves what he does. We left feeling very confident in what he told us. We will continue using Max for refresher classes, for ourselves!!

Max is a talented kind dog whisperer. He has a unique approach to working with dogs’ strengths and to facilitate sustained progress in dogs' development opportunities to flourish. I have two Alaskan Malamutes that love working with Max. He helped me to enhanced and refined my dogs' good citizen manners and behaviors. Especially related to my Malamute boy who is shy and was dealing with fear aggression toward certain triggers. I have been training my Malamutes since I adopted them at 8 weeks old and expose them trhough basic and more advance training, but with Max support all the foundations and now the advanced skills are more accessible to my dogs daily activities and the beahviors better sustained. Our pups have been coming to The Spotted Dog since it opened back in 2013. We have boarded, done day care as well as grooming. I have been exceptionally happy with every service I have gotten from here! But, it's my dog's reaction walking in that clinches it for me! The super friendly staff make her feel so comfortable and special that she trots right into daycare without even looking back to see where I am. This is always followed by a picture of her with one of her doggy friends at some point during the day! Special collection of memories I'll have forever! They were so patient and helpful when I was having anxiety about leaving my girl with them for the first time while I traveled! LOVE the grooming, LOVE LOVE the boarding, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Daycare! PLUS, the trainer they have come in to teach the classes is absolutely FANTASTIC! I can't say enough good things!

I moved here a year ago and left my home of 3 years , my job of 4 years. and the daycare, where my dog would board and go to once or twice a week. It was rough but I found this wonderful place for Piper .I never thought I would feel comfortable again with another Daycare but it’s happened and I am so happy but more importantly Piper loves to come and she loves the staff. She goes crazy in the car when we pull in the parking lot and pulls me on the leash to get in the door. I trust them completely with her and she has boarded too. We just moved to the area and were in search for a groomer for our Australian shepherd. He is high anxiety and we are very particular about his groom. I can not say enough good things about The spotted dog. We are absolutely thrilled with how beautiful our dog looks. We were nervous about leaving our pooch with strangers, but from day one the staff did nothing but love on our Tanner, immediately putting our minds at ease. Love how they share videos and pics throughout the day too. Highly recommend.

I have a Samoyed husky. She’s been coming to this groomer for years. She gets the same very specific instructions every cut. Trimmed on body, face, and ears, very little on legs and tail. Today I came back and she was shaved to her skin. Samoyeds have pink skin and need their thick coats to protect from the sun and regulate heat. The vet said she could get sun poisoning and her coat might take a year to grow back. The lady at the front desk was extremely passive and just wanted me off the phone when discussing a refund. I’ve posted before and after photos of my dog. I’m livid. Why would you shave a dog so short unless asked to do so.

Great place for our Shitzu! He gets so excited when we bring him for daycare. They also do a fabulous groom. The staff love dogs, and you can tell!!!!! Highly recommended!!!

We found Lauren and her company Canine Concierge in 2016 when we were going away for Thanksgiving and needed a last minute visit service for our cats, and we were so happy with her that we booked visits with her every time we were away ever since! The website makes it easy to book visits, and we have always been very happy with the thoroughness we see every day when we cat our "cat reports", complete with pictures and fun summaries of how everything went. It's something we look forward to each day we're away, and we feel at ease with our cats in Canine Concierge's hands.

Lauren is just wonderful! She took such great care of our Oliver while we were away. She even made him a special dog-friendly yogurt and peanut butter birthday cake on his birthday and had a little party for him with all of his friends there. She sent me adorable videos and photos. Oliver enjoyed his vacation there!

The Canine Concierge team is the best around! They truly care for every single pet that they service and will go beyond and above to make their visit awesome! The photos and visit recap are a great communication to see how the visit went and important info on your pet. Their communication within their app is prompt and professional. I have been with them for 17 years and would never go anywhere else!

Our puppy Mia needed to start socializing with other dogs and we found Rover Ranch. 3 months later Mia loves going to the ranch and Max and his team are so compassionate and caring which was very important to me. In addition to Mia’s new doggie friends, she is greeted so warmly by all staff when she arrives and we feel like family every time we arrive! Rover Ranch is my Patriot’s ( labrador) second home. This month is 1 year that Patriot has been attending Rover Ranch. He wags his tail showing pure excitement when he arrives to the parking lot. Max, Jess, Dianna and all staff are marvelous! Patriot also did training with Max ( owner) and I was able to apply many techniques with Patriot. Patriot goes part time, we always feel at ease when he boards and get updates from the center. They get well pampered and Thanks to a local neighbor recommended Rover Ranch! Patriot comes home exhausted and he’s a happy camper!!

I would highly recommend working with Jessica from Rover Ranch in Fairfield NJ. Her passion to work with dogs is contagious. She has a large compassion and knowledge when it comes to training towards behavioral issues. Jessica teaches more than just the basic training. She understands your pets thoughts and what makes them understand what you want from them. Jessica who has many tricks and treats of how to train dogs and with her enthusiastic attitude she can help your pup learn quickly and easily. Odin is big fan of Jessica and it was a great experience for his family.

We wouldn’t feel safe leaving our baby anywhere else!! Willow has been coming here for almost 3 years now and have had amazing experiences every time we drop her off. A 5 Star Resort for my wonderful doggie, Rover Ranch & Spa provides a wholesome boarding experience with 24/7 supervision, an opportunity to socialize with furry friends, lots of exercise and loving attention. I know my pet is well cared for at the ranch. He is relaxed and refreshed when he returns home, so we never feel bad when we cannot take him with us.

Lisa and her staff are incredible! We've used Nature's Nanny for various pets over the last several years, and they have always taken great care of them. We appreciate the notes and photos they send after each visit. For our last service, in addition to Lisa taking care of our two cats, we had to make last minute arrangements to have our dog taken care of when my mother-in-law had a medical emergency and couldn't watch him anymore. Lisa was so accommodating, which made us feel so much better about being far away from home. We will continue to use Nature's Nanny for all of our pet care needs whenever we go away for extended periods.

I needed a reliable dog sitter who could give my dog meds twice a day and sometimes doesn't want to take them. Lisa was able to get them down for him. She sends me photos and updates for every visit. From the second we met with Lisa, we knew we ( and our VERY particular kitty) were in excellent hands! It’s not easy to entrust someone you don’t know personally into your home to take care of your furry family member while you are away. Lisa interviewed us as much as we interviewed her, and we truly felt like her expertise and experience made her an extremely trustworthy caretaker. We couldn’t have been more impressed! Despite the fact that our cat becomes territorial and downright vicious with strangers, Lisa managed to feed, change the litter, and even attempt to socialize with her, while knowing exactly how to handle such a difficult cat. We got a daily log of the day’s activities, as well as pictures and text updates. When we got home, it was obvious that an unbelievable amount of care and attention had gone into her, and she behaved as if we’d never left.( In fact, her litter box was better cared for than I think we even do!) We can not recommend Nature’s Nanny Pet Service and Lisa enough!!!! We have already used her services twice, and will continue to do so in the future.I felt like she cared for our cat as much as we do, and was professionally able to handle her in a way that neighbors and family members were unable to. We are so grateful, and have recommended her to several people, and will continue to do. I highly recommend giving yourself complete peace of mind, and hiring such a fantastic service. I only wish we had found Nature’s Nanny’s Pet Service sooner!
