Being new to TH, we advertised our month away from home in weekly increments, and Mary was "sandwiched" in between the first and third sit. We had talked on the phone and she was very easy to talk to and had lots of interesting stories to tell, but we were already on our trip both when she came and when she left. We conversed both via text and the TH Inbox while we were away. Mary arrived a day early, which made the handoff from the other sitter easy and they had time to get to know each other and share info on the house and Susie. There were a couple of hiccups, such as our dog Susie "hiding" from her somewhere outside and missing for several hours upon the first sitter leaving, something she has never done before! Also, we had a pergola being constructed on our deck, so it was quite a mess outside during her stay, but Mary used some of the scraps to make Halloween decorations. We had some internet issues, so my brother in law came by to check out the router during his lunch break while Mary was at the craft store and found our door unlocked. We had "hidden" 2 keys in different locations for the sitters and 1 key was somehow lost. Mary nicknamed Susie "Penny" for her copper color. She left us some delicious muffins, cookies, and taco soup in the freezer and we appreciate her stepping up to fill in a week to help keep Susie company during our month long vacation!

Dallas was a fantastic pet sitter, really interested in and good with the cats. He even managed to get my tortie, who is very highly strung to say the least, to snuggle up to him, also my black and white boy who is somewhat wary of men (he was a stray). He sent me lots of pics and updates whilst I was away and a lovely folder of even more when I got back. He also left the house immaculate, bed beautifully made, M&S food in the fridge, flowers and a card on the kitchen table. Very highly recommended.
Oby is such a joy to be with, he is really well-behaving and sweet the whole time, there are trails behind the house and he really liked it everyday. Nate was really patient and friendly to explain things to me, the location of the house is amazing. I highly recommend them!
