I had a two month sit in Ellwyn and Willie’s home, and it was an absolute pleasure to take care of the animals, house and garden. Ellwyn and Willie were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed, including a list of local contacts and maps of the local area. Even though they were travelling in Australia, they kept in contact and answered any questions that I had. Luca is a pleasure to care for. He’s so easy-going and enjoys trips out in the car, but is equally happy with local walks too. He enjoys resting on the sofa for a good portion of the day, which meant I was free to explore the area (where there is so much to do and see!). The bantams are also easy to care for, letting them out to roam the garden in the morning, making sure they’re well fed and watered, and putting them to bed when the sun goes down. The house itself is full of light, very comfortable, with two wood burners that kept me snug even when the temperature dropped. I thoroughly recommend this sit, and wouldn’t hesitate coming back again in the future!

Jay was great at talking through all the details, making sure I knew everything I needed for my stay and about taking care of Arthur. The place has an amazing location and view. I really appreciated Jay’s helpful feedback. Arthur is such an easy cat; he likes to sit on my lap or sleep next to me. I’d be happy to take care of Arthur again! :)
Just back from a six day sit, which I greatly enjoyed - all was very simple. Seb did not flood me with info and was very chilled in briefing me when I arrived, which gave me everything I needed including confidence. She insisted I made myself at home. Fergus is a very handsome and highly intelligent Border Collie - he enjoys plenty of interaction and bonds very easily. The cats only speak Italian! - but Seb coached me before leaving! They come and go on their own accord and do their own thing but appreciate a cuddle when the sun goes down. The house is beautifully decorated with mellow colours and furnishings - a good place to unwind and maybe write a book! But then the surrounding countryside, towns and villages - with of course neighbouring Bath as it's main focus are a big draw. Radstock is pretty limited - though it has a half decent coffee shop, ok pub, good Italian, a few take-aways and a large cooperative store - there is a good pub about 3/4 mile away, easily within walking distance -- many people you meet know Fergus and Seb - they will readily chat and are clearly very fond of the family.. thank you Seb for the brilliant opportunity Trev
Manuela's home and garden are magical, comfortable and peaceful. A Taos retreat! Paws and Blue are very special, sweet, dogs with unique personalities. I learned a lot and had fun caring for both of them! Manuela is kind, responsive and thoughtful. I had a lovely stay and am thankful!
