The minute Anne and Andrew arrived, we knew we would get on really well. They were very friendly, enthusiastic about the house and garden and loved the look of Mabel. We knew that we would have no worries and that Mabel would be happy and very well looked after. We had a wonderful supper with them the day they arrived with lots of laughter! They sent us some lovely pictures of walks with Mabel through the cornfields and they were very interested to see ones of all our family in Cornwall. Friends around the village really enjoyed meeting them with Mabel. On our return the house looked immaculate. Far cleaner than when we left!! Delicious supper was left for us in the fridge, all labelled beautifully. Flowers were arranged, the lawn mown and the sheets and towels were hanging on the line. It was all wonderful and we will always ask Anne and Andrew to come back again. I know Mabel missed them after they left as after she had welcomed us back, she went to sit under the sheets on the washing line. 5 stars all round!!
I thought Judy was a brave soul to take on Boy in one of her first cat sits. She did great! She came a bit early to get a thorough introduction. While I finished packing my car for my trip, she ably navigated Boy through his morning walk and picked him up and carried him inside at the conclusion – no small accomplishment on short acquaintance. I felt confident I was leaving Boy in good hands. Throughout the sit, Judy texted daily updates and sent periodic photos of Boy napping in some favorite spots and some new ones. She generously introduced him to yoga, and he callously stole her mat. She laughed it off good-naturedly. It’s a good sign when the neighbors also comment favorably on the sitter; they did. I would feel comfortable inviting Judy to sit any time.
