We had the most wonderful time looking after Claire and Phillipe's beautiful home and caring for Molly the labrador, Sox the cat and the goats, chickens and ducks. The animals were a delight and we are already missing them. Claire and Phillipe made us very welcome on arrival and gave us a thorough briefing.Communication throughout was excellent. Le Bois Coudrai is a rural idyll but 10 only minutes from the town of Combourg and all facilities. You I'll not be short of things to do and see within a 30 to 40 minute drive. There are lovely walks for Molly all around. For a taste of the real Britanny and France this is difficult to beat. Thank you so much Claire and Phillipe
Joe and Yuki were both very welcoming, kind, and clear in their instructions. They live in a quiet area just outside Glasgow, so it's very easy to catch a train or bus to Merchant City. Their home is old and very unique! It was fascinating to learn about the history as well. It's quite large so it's well suited for their kitties to chase each and play together. And they obviously adore their two wonderful kitties! Mr. T and Ms. P are absolutely precious and thoroughly enjoy following you around wherever you go. They both love to play and then have a good cuddle with you when they're tired. I would accept another sit with Joe and Yuki again instantly if asked. Thanks guys, for welcoming me into your home!
Amazing sit and wonderful pups. The home was also lovely and I loved spending time with the dogs in the living room and outside in the very spacious yard. The house is close to everything and main restaurants plus stores I love like Home Depot and IKEA! Both dogs were very easy to take care of , and Thor specifically loves to play and cuddle . He is a big love bug. Olive is sweet too and a senior, so she needs her rest but is also very chill. Laura , the host and home owner was wonderful and I was happy to sit for her and her family! Thank you so much
We had a great time sitting for Sam and taking care of Rosie, Rodney & Rufus - they were such an adorable bunch! Sam was very friendly and easy going from the get-go and did a very thorough handover wen we arrived. Her home is a lovely large, comfortable farmhouse set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Supermarkets and shops were a short drive as was the gorgeous Suffolk Coast with many quaint little villages and towns to explore! Rosie & Rodney were so much fun to be with and we loved walking them in the fields, straight from the door. Rosie is a typical spaniel with endless energy and vibrates when she gets excited! It was really something to watch her on her walks and the ground she covers running here there and everywhere - often into other fields and out of sight but she always returned. Rodney was very sweet trying (and failing) to keep up with Rosie, you can tell he really loves his big sis. He loved following us around the house and was quite partial to sitting on our foot - great for the cold evenings! Rufus kept himself to himself, like most cats, but always joined us on the sofa in the evenings, enjoyed a good stroke and showed us lots of affection. We would highly recommend this sit and would absolutely love to return to sit for Sam again in the future!
This was a fabulous house/pet sit! Carla and Michael were a pleasure to communicate with; friendly caring people who had everything well organized for our stay. Zeke is very affectionate and always on his best behaviour. A delight to spend time with out walking or snuggling at home. Ava loves the outdoors and pops in throughout the day to check in. The neighbors are friendly, the house is gorgeous and comfy, Knoxville is full of great places to explore and Great Smoky National Park is unbeatable. A great experience all around!
My stay at Ruth's was incredible. The energy of the house is amazing, uplifting, and genuinely loving. Ruth is the kindest and most generous host you could hope for. From the start, it felt like she was a good friend. Teddy and Lilly are the cutest and most fun companions—they joined me during yoga, work, swimming, and meals, of course. Plus, Adam's home-brewed, crafted beer was a delightful bonus! The house is wonderfully situated, surrounded by juicy green plants and colorful birds chirping. Inside, it's filled with pastel colors and scented soaps and candles that make it so inviting. Her kitchen is so well-equipped that you can easily work culinary magic! I hope I can come back one day.
