From the initial contact all the way throughout the sit, Marie was great. She communicated effectively, was prompt, and was just the sweetest person you hope to meet. The animals took right to her. In fact, I think our Molly was a bit sad to see us arrive home and missed Marie. Marie did an excellent job dealing with a few issues that popped up. The fridge began acting up and ahe notified me promptly. I was able to get a repairman out, and it was fixed. Then there was a little leak under the sink, and thankfully, Marie caught it. My son was able to come over and fix that. Then there was the issue of Rascal wanting to take walks with Marie and the dogs. Our cats try and follow us on walks. Anyhow, Rascal walked along a little farther than normal and did not return with the group. Marie notified me right away, and I posted his pic on Nextdoor with the situation. A neighbor reported seeing him in the bushes and gave the address. I notified Marie, and she and the dogs walked over and retrieved him. He came out to her and stayed close to her and the dogs as they walked home. She is quick to notice situations and handle them efficiently. We arrived home happy healthy pets and a garden bursting with veggies. Marie kept everything alive and thriving. Our home was clean when we arrived and let me tell you, after being in an rv for 6 weeks, that is such a comfort to come home to a clean house. We hope to be able to have Marie sit for us again, she is one of the best.

Art & Sally have house sit for us before, so we knew what to expect. They are very detail oriented and are wonderful people to get to know! Exactly the kind of sitter that everyone wants! Sloan was happy with them immediately and we know that the house would be taken care of. They texted us with a problem and were self sufficent enough to call the company and walk through how to solve the issue! I highly recommend them for a house sit and I plan to use them whenever we can!

Great sit with Lulu and Claire! They both are great walkers and both really enjoy their daily walks. They also enjoy being around you while cooking, at the table, or watching tv. Claire preferred taking naps near us on the floor and Lulu enjoyed sitting on the couch next to us cuddling and staying warm. Tom & Susan are responsive and friendly and had everything written out for us for our stay/sit. We would definitely come back!

We had a lovely time staying at Sarah and Josh's house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Olympia. Sarah provided detailed instructions on how to get in and take care of everything. Their kitty, Helen, was a little shy and didn't come out for pets except once our kids had gone to sleep. The house was super comfy with great beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. Thank you!!

Christmas with Jeremy was amazing! Hester was super helpful and gave me all the instructions I needed to take care of Jeremy, I appreciate the lovely welcome and gift, and the apartment was both clean and cosy. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a sit.

We loved pet and house sitting for Adrian and Deb. Their dogs are so friendly and were immediately welcoming. The house is set in an idyllic setting with its own brook, and magical walks along the river and up into the woods of ancient oaks and pine. We felt at home instantly in the renovated barn and cottage.
It was a delight to meet the day before the stay.

Walnut is young and enthusiastic and needed lots of exercise. Throwing the stick in the river to ensure she has a good swim worked well to tire her out. The other dogs are older and more chilled and didn't always join both our daily walks. All three of them gave us lots of love and cuddles. We miss them!

It was really a perk that it is possible to go on walks straight from the house. We enjoyed walking to the local pub which is very pitturesque on the border with devon, and dog friendly.

The dogs were well behaved on the lead too. Walnut perfectly listens when asked to heel. They are no trouble when encoutering other dogs. Rarely the old lady Teasel would do a little growl, but she was easy to simply hold in the arms whilst passing one of the dogs she doesn’t get on with.

No trouble at night, they all happily slept on their beds till morning time.
We watered the green house and some of the pots when needed, there wasn’t much to do and so nice to have some of the ripe strawberries :-)

Adrian and Deb were in touch with anything needed throughout.

As you see, we recommend this sit.
Love,
John and Celine

I have had a couple sits with Crouton and being hosted by Michelle is a pleasure 10/10. Her location is wonderful, and offers great little walks to take Crouton, where she maxes out her energy. I had a lot of fun caring for Crouton and I would recommend sitting her Michelle. Her space is clean, cozy and organized and it makes maintaining crouton's needs very easy. I was very comfortable.
