I had a fantastic pet sitting for Marbles! The family was incredibly friendly and caring. The owners’ attention to detail in providing a comfortable and stimulating environment in their house truly impressed me. Marbles was a wonderful companion to spend time with. She was also quite independent sometimes. The house was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. Its convenient vibrant London location was a breeze to navigate. I had a lovely time with Myles in Mountain View! When we weren’t frolicking in a nearby park or exploring the neighborhood, Myles and I would spend some cozy time on his couch throne. Always eager for treats, Myles patiently obeyed sit and stay commands before diving into a kibble maze. Arren was warm and she was a breeze to communicate with throughout the sit. Arren’s place is conveniently located near downtown Mountain View and several forms of public transportation. In addition to working from the house, I enjoyed working from Red Rock Cafe and the Mountain View Public Library, which are both a 10 to 15-minute walk away.
I enjoyed house/pet sitting for Tami and Norm in their beautiful home. Tami provided clear instructions and very useful information. I felt comfortable with the daily responsibilities of caring for their pets. I would recommend house/pet sitting for Tami and Norm.
Stefanie and her family were so sweet and thoughtful! And Shumai was no different! Shumai always greeted me with lots of joy and excitement, which always put a smile on my face😊 She is a pretty chill dog, who enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and sniffing out the terrain. She loves being by your side when your at home and loves to cuddle! She is so caring and extremely adorable. For example, I was doing an intense workout and was clearly struggling. This sweet pup came to lie next to me and licked my face to make sure I was okay!! This truly made my day🥰 This was my first house sit through THS and Stefanie and her family made sure to give me detailed instructions so that Shumai and I could hold down the fort while they were gone. Their house is conveniently located in the Wheaton area with lots of shops and stores nearby. I would highly recommend pet/house sitting for them and would love sit for them again if our paths happen to cross again!
Kylie's place is in a nice location —right by the water and with a beautiful view of the city. Great areas to walk in and very safe. For travelers, the apartment has what is needed for sleeping, hanging out, cooking, and doing any washing. Public transport is a few blocks away, but still very easy if you're willing to have a nice riverside walk to a ferry stop or venture out for a small walk to a bus stop. Kylie's place also has an easy parking spot if you're staying with your car. Leroy is SUCH a cutie. My partner was obsessed with him, haha. He is immediately friendly and will love a good pet or a nighttime cuddle in bed. It's very easy to watch him. Kylie and her partner Greg are easy-going folks who were very communicative before the sit and responsive during the sit itself. :)
It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Christine's house, plants and garden. Since this was a house sit only, I was able to take full advantage of exploring this lovely neighbourhood, the variety of the Danforth eateries, the Queen Street shops, and the long walks to the beach. Even if you do not have a car, this location is close to public transportation should you want to venture to downtown Toronto as well. I enjoyed all the serenity, peace and stillness this sit had to offer. Christine's unique home is big, beautiful and peaceful. Christine is very cordial and a very interesting conversationalist.
