Jamie
Viva la Mexico. Oh how me miss the sunshine, the roar of the ocean, the fresh fruit in the orchard and mostly Chuy, Honey, and Lester. For us, this housesit was such a wonderful experience. Kris and Jamie are excellent and kind hosts. Their beautiful home, saltwater pool, and proximity to Cabo, or La Paz, and endless stretches of beaches are ideal for a getaway. We enjoyed each day under the Mexican sun and hope to one day have the chance to take care of Chuy, Honey, Lester again. I'm already jealous of their next housesitter.

Rose
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Rose & Dave's home for almost a month carrying for their golden retrievers, Tua & Tuc on Gabriola Island in early 2024. Rose was super well organized for the handover. Their recently-built, modern-design, post and beam home has everything you'd need plus a large games room. The house is set back from the road so it's super quiet and it's great that enough trees have been cleared so the house has lots of natural light will retaining privacy.

The dogs, Tua & Tuc, are super socialable and good with other dogs and love to connect with everyone you meet on your walks.

Rose showed us a trail through the forest she has created, two minutes away by car, that we used daily to have an off-leash outing to burn off their morning energy. We'd go to nearby Drumbeg Provincial Park or walk down to the near beaches for a magic-hour romp looking for sticks along the beach.

Gabriola has a large year-round poplulation so there are lots of shops and services that carry most of your needs so in the 3 /12 weeks we stayed we didn't feel the need to leave the island. There is a short ferry to This was a welcome suprise. It might have helped that there is a remarkable organic bakery with fresh-out-of- the-oven baked goods and two southwest facing parks within walking distance from the home.

Suzi
I was made to feel very welcome by Suzi and it was lovely to get to know her and her friend over an evening meal prior to the sit beginning. She has a modern and comfortable home, easy to maintain and well equipped. There's an undercover area out the back which was great for relaxing and reading, and having the pups cuddle up on. The suburb is quite hilly but the view from Suzi's back is lovely.
As it was summer, there was a little bit of watering to do outside, including pots, but there were also automatic sprinklers which did the main areas and lawns.
Suzi's two cavoodles, Teddy and Maddie, are real cuties. Maddie is the licker and Teddy loves gazing into your eyes with the occasional nose kiss! They are very affectionate and love human company but are also the best of friends and virtually inseparable. As soon as their leads appear, they are just SO excited! They love their walks but do pull, especially at the beginning and when they see other dogs.
The 3 chooks are free range and no trouble to look after. Mrs Cackleberry likes to come up to the door and say hello each day! She might then reward you with an egg!
This was a very enjoyable sit for a warm and caring owner who loves her pups and chooks.

This housesit was fantastic! Cela was very kind and helpful during our whole stay. The house is situated in a beautiful neighborhood, not far from the center of Amsterdam, close to lots of parks and canals. Toffee was a delight, he was super well behaved, very affectionate, great with other dogs, just very fun to hang out with. We took him on our sightseeing trips and had a great time with this giant baby.
Would definitely recommend this housesit!

Alizée
Had a blast hanging out with Hendrix! He’s got energy for days, but just as snuggly. We played fetch in the Heath and chilled on the couch watching movies. Alizée was awesome – super easy to chat with and an all-around great person. Her place is lovely and cosy, close to shops and the Heath of course. Can't wait for more hangs with Hendrix in the future!

Cynthia
I absolutely loved sitting with GiGi. She is quite possibly the perfect cat: Sociable but quiet, sweet and cuddly but not pushy or demanding. I enjoyed my stay in Evanston so much not only because it's just a beautiful, wonderful place to be, but because even staying in and watching DVDs with GiGi on my lap (purring) was a total pleasure. I miss her already! Cynthia left detailed directions about the location and GiGi's care. Our communication was top notch before and during the sit. And Cynthia's apartment is beautiful--and absolutely loaded with books and art. If you are lucky enough to sit with Ms. GiGi, do it and you will be so glad you did! I hope I am in the States again right when Cynthia needs another sitter. I'd come back in a heartbeat.
