Janice & Mark went way above and beyond during their sit. They cleaned up and washed/dried/changed the sheets in the guest room. They sent pics of themselves walking and relaxing with my dog. They were great communicators and very pleasant to work with. I'd happily host them again!
Davina and Steve’s house is wonderful. It is very comfortable, beautifully clean and tidy with a fantastic garden. Nelson is a lovely cat who loves human company but he knows that he is in charge and will tell you when needs something, usually food! They have a lovely big garden which is a haven for most birds and sitters who love to watch. They left enough food for us to last a week and the information guide was brilliant, as good if not better than anything we have seen. They answered every question very promptly. A wonderful sit and we would go again very happily.
Barb is the loving-est dog! She, and the rest of the family, Harry Smiles, Dash, Skippy and Max, made my stay memorable. Each have their own unique personality! They are loving and made me happy to be there! Allison's place is homey, her and the pets made me feel welcome!
Emily and Neal were very welcoming in the delivery of the house, they showed me everything and answered my questions quickly, it is a wonderful and safe house.
Rachel and her husband are incredibly hospitable and friendly. They gave thorough instructions about their fur baby, Watson, their house, and even suggested local locations. We valued the time they invested in typing out the information. They also answered our messages promptly. We spent three days there over the weekend, and we had a great time! We are very particular about where we house sit since we very much appreciate a neat and orderly environment. We felt so at ease in their clean and cozy apartment that it was nearly difficult to leave. Giving Watson his meds was a breeze because he was a lovable and amiable companion. Although he needs some time to warm up, he will still welcome you at the door. My fiancée and I would definitely sit Watson again! :D
Looking after Luca was a dream. He is the most perfect of cuddly friends - loves a belly rub and turned into my little shadow by the end of the month we spent with him! Helen and Graeme's home is just lovely, and we felt right at home. Thanks to their generosity we were able to build our home on wheels from their driveway, and we are so so grateful! Joye, their nextdoor neighbour, was also a welcome friend during our stay. Taupō is a lovely town and we felt like we got to know it (and its hardware stores!) very well. It was very sad to say goodbye to Luca after a month, but we know we'll pop back to say hi when we're passing through again! Thank you both again for such a lovely stay
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful sit! Jo and Gordon are wonderful, friendly, generous people who give clear instructions and information about the sit, their dog, home and community. Their home is wonderfully bright and cheerful with a comfortable bed, great kitchen and delightful backyard. A visit to Sidney is always wonderful with an easy-going pace, friendly folks and fun downtown that is a quick walk from Jo and Gordon's home. Saving the best to last... Parker is a wonderful gentle, fun loving dog who is great on his leash and enjoys walks in parks, on the beach and in the neighborhood. And when he is not on a walk, he thoroughly enjoys just being in the company of others. If the stars align that another opportunity to sit Parker again, we would go!
