We had a delightful stay at Leslie’s home, taking care of Basil and Monty! Leslie's house is beautiful and impeccably clean. It was the perfect place to work from home, cook meals, and relax. There are some great trails and a coffee shop nearby, and Central Lonsdale, with its many restaurants and grocery store, is just a comfortable 15-18 minute walk away. Leslie is incredibly helpful and responsive, and her welcome guide was extremely detailed and useful, which we greatly appreciated. Basil and Monty are adorable and sweet cats! They love being outdoors, often napping on the outdoor chair or roaming about. They are very docile and enjoy the occasional pet. We had no issues watching them and truly enjoyed their company throughout our stay.Thank you, Leslie, for welcoming us into your home. We definitely recommend this house sit to others!
First of all, Amy is a wonderful and warm person. I arrived late in the evening just before she left, but she took the time to get to know me, and left me some dinner and breakfast foods in the fridge. She did an excellent job giving me a tour of the house, showing me where everything was, and giving me recommendations to things in the area. Her instructions for the cats were clear and simple. Her home is full of art and has a lot of character; great atmosphere. (Hope I can come back some day!) Second, the cats are super affectionate and cuddly. I spent a lot of time working at the desk in the den and Rosebud sat on my lap all the time, while Clementine sat on my feet. Red and Tommy got into a tiff once or twice, but overall they are very sweet cats, always following me around the house and talking to me. I was only there for a week, but I missed them when I left -- they grew on me really fast! The area is nice, especially for hikers. The state park is about an hour and a half to the west and has some great trails. Highly recommended for a sit.
We had a wonderful time caring for Kona and Guinness! The home is beautiful and in a relaxing and peaceful environment. Kona and Guinness were friendly and sociable, and excellent hiking companions as we explored the Anmore area. Thank you Karen for welcoming us into your home!
Alan and Susie are the loveliest of couples. They made us feel so welcome that we were put at ease from the moment we met them. They prepared a delicious meal and we spent the evening before their trip familiarising ourselves with their beautiful home and of course getting to know Ozzy who is the most adorable dog. Charming, affectionate, and impeccably behaved both in and outside the home, he was a complete joy to care for. The cottage, which is situated on the edge of woodland, was really comfortable, warm and cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful and there were beautiful walks accessible right from the front door and many more within a few minutes drive. Ozzy by the way was a delight to take out in the car - quiet and calm, he was the perfect passenger ! As our first sit with Trusted Housesitters, we had the most wonderful time and would return again without a moments hesitation. Thank you Alan and Susie. We hope to be back soon.

Trista is a great host who is very welcoming and kind. She provided detailed information about Polo and the area. Her house was beautiful, with a great view and the hot tub was a nice plus. Polo is a real sweetheart, he like to play with his toys and is a great listener. I had a great time and would sit for them again!
