It was great to be back with Sloan, especially in his new apt with a lovely backyard with hammock and fire escape oasis full of flowers and greenery. So many beautiful birds came to visit and along with the squirrels they provide the perfect cat tv. Bri and Nick are so friendly and welcoming, and easy to communicate with. It was such a quick visit this time, but always lovely. The apt is so comfortable and convenient to everything you could need. Highly recommend this sit.
I had a fantastic experience! Antonia is the kindest host and equips her sitters with everything you need to know about her adorable dog Lenny as well as supplied tips for my visit to Amsterdam. Antonia and Lenny were the highlights of my trip to Holland. The apartment is gorgeous and well situated between a plethora of park options which made morning and afternoon walks with Lenny so pleasant. You can really escape the hustle and bustle of the city for one of the parks that Antonia points out in her epic guidebook for Lenny. Lenny is so sweet, obedient and very friendly with other dogs and humans. He said as well liked everywhere we went and I hope to get the privilege to sit for him again. Amber is really lovely and kind. The whole family gave us a warm welcome. We did enjoy our time with Buka. She is a lovely dog and once she gets used to you, she always follows you. Buka loves to cuddle. The house is great, the gym and the Sauna are also lovely.

Starting this off with I don't do reviews, I've left maybe 2 in my entire life and has to be something that has changed my life. The Pittsburgh Pet Concierge is an amazing boutique pet boarding facility, that loves your fur babies like they are their own. I have taken the most difficult pup there and they accommodated him to his needs, and now our new pup who is easy going. They have play yards that they can play in, you get photos of your fur friends daily as well. I will only use the Pittsburgh Pet Concierge knowing full well my fur kid is in the best hands ever. I canât even put into words how thankful we are that we found such kind people to watch our dog! It was our first time away from our beagle/hound so we were anxious, but Josh soothed our worries during our whole trip! They are so very thorough with care and specific needs for your pet. Salem recently recovered from heartworm treatment, and they had a vet tech check his heart and lungs every day as a precaution. Josh loved Salem like he was his own and sent us lots of photos of Salem playing with his new doggy friends that were also staying! Itâs a huge sigh of relief that we found the place that can watch Salem if we ever need them to. Josh and Bob are truly dog people and we canât thank them enough!

This was the first time my dog, Maggie Mae, had ever been away from home, and I was incredibly nervous about how she would handle it. Pittsburgh pet concierge is an amazing facility that treats your pets like their own! They are so communicative and helpful with me and my puppy. They offer so much flexibility with my work schedule since itâs in a home with 24/7 supervision. My Australian shepherd is always so excited to go and is always tired when she gets picked up. They continue to go above and beyond the other doggy daycares/ boarding facilities I have been to previously and could not be happier to have found them!

A review just isnât enough honestly. Josh & Bob are two of the most AMAZING human beings Iâve ever come into contact with. They are kind, accommodating and most importantly selfless. They have been watching Lola since she was a year old. Lola sometimes doesnât do well with strangers and they took on the challenge. They never pushed her. They went at her pace. They never made me feel bad for her reactivity. They never made me feel like a bother or that she was a burden. She is truly VIP here and they love her as if she was their own. Loki has been seeing them for the last 2 years. He too has his own issues. He isnât the best in new environments with dogs heâs unsure of and Josh & Bob didnât bat an eye at taking him on too. They truly treat them like their own dogs. I never have to worry about them when theyâre there. Sadly, we are moving 9hrs away and will no longer be able to use PPC. This is probably the hardest thing about moving and trusting new people with our dogs. But Josh has offered to help in so many ways to ease our transition and any chance we can have to have them watch our pups again, we will. Josh & Bob have become more than our dog boarders, theyâre our family. If you need someone to watch your dog I wouldnât recommend anyone else. PPC is the absolute best place.

First off, they were booked when we initially called them and Josh from Pittsburgh Pet Concierge went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived there Josh spent time talking with my daughter to make her feel comfortable with leaving her kitten since this is the first time we used these services. While we were away, we received texts from both Josh and the Vet tech (who is also onsite) providing us with updates on Onyx, our kitten. My daughter forgot to pack Onyxâs treats and Josh made sure to provide the same treats that Onyx loves. They played with him daily and spent time with him and the cherry on top was that Onyx had his own roomâŚand I mean his own room with a window to himself! Our kitten was not stressed at all; and played regularly with the staff there. If you need cat boarding reach out to Pittsburgh Pet Concierge! They are the best! We had THE BEST experience possible at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge. We had never done any kind of boarding for our 3 pups so we were extremely hesitant to do so, but needed the service as we were going on a week long trip. We had called a few places around the Pittsburgh area but Joshua at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge was so attentive and helpful from the very beginning which made this place really stand out. From the registration, to the transparency and the attentiveness, it really is a 5 star experience from start to finish. We live in the north hills but will drive the extra 25 minutes every time. They make the process so easy and Joshua kept us updated every single day with photos, videos and questions. They were so happy and relaxed. The dogs do not sleep alone in cages, they have someone with them at all times, which was huge for us. I could go on and on and on about the experience that we had with them but I will sum it up by saying that if you choose any other boarding service in the Pittsburgh area, youâre truly doing your pups a disservice. My dog is 9 years old and can be very difficult. He is not cage trained and will NOT get in a cage, and he is an escape artist!!! My husband and I have never boarded him anywhere out of fear that he would escape. After talking with Stacy, and her reassuring us of her safety precautions, with dogs similar to ours, we decided to give her a try. We were so nervous and panicked the first time we left him. Well.... that was almost 2 years ago and he has stayed with Stacy 5 or 6 times since then, for up to 10 days at a time. We are so grateful to Stacy for allowing us to have great, carefree vacations knowing that our baby is safe and happy. Stacyâs dog watch is a home away from home and she is a second mommy to our baby. Our doggie even sleeps with her in bed! She also sends us daily pictures and updates! We love Walkerâs Pet Hotail! Our Charlie is loving but sometimes particular and Walkers welcomes him with open arms. He has been to daycare and boarded and has always left happy and TIRED. Its very clean, no smells, and the receptionist is always so pleasant. I do make phone calls and check on him when boarded and they are always willing to give a quick update. The play areas have indoor and outdoor spaces with 3 separate play areas depending on size and personality. They also have small play areas and walking paths for the pups who enjoy their alone time. Ive never boarded a cat however their homes appear comfy, clean, and a lot of window space for the cats to peer out. Go in for a tour and see for yourself!

My dog goes to daycare here 4 times a week. Staff is really good and the Facilityâs management and ownership are second to none.
So my girl KY is a rescue Chihuahua Beagle mix but has had trauma so she is very skiddish. Sam(or Steve im bad with names) and the rest of the staff took great care of my sweet girl. And Q(?) who brought her in. My girl knows and can read character. So when I watched her go with him and not growl, bark, or show any apprehension or fear. I know shw was oing to be fine. But she was more than fine. She was great and i was great because i could leave her there without worry while i was on a difficult trip. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my sweetheat and get her ready for our trip in a few weeks. Truly amazing and I was blown away. In a world were often money is paid to a business and the business does not take customer's needs into account, my experience with Walker's Pet Hotel was a Breath of Fresh Air. And I have been using walker's pethotail for years but at the Murrysville location on and off for the last 18 years with prevous girl Duchess. Feels like weâre leaving our dog with family. The staff there is loving and attentive to every dog and cat that comes in, whether for daycare or for an extended stay. Our dog loves it there. Sheâs very well cared for and is excited every day to go. And when we pick her up after work, she is tired and happy from the social experience.
Really great place.... Clean store front.... Inside of building is very well kept and clean.... Great location on route 30 centralized in North Versailles.... My dog loves going there and playing with all the other dogs and getting some of her energy out..... 2 year old St Bernard that still thinks she's a little lap dog puppy.... Lol
We love walkers in north Versailles! My girl gets excited every time we walk in and she sees the staff. She always looks happy when I pick her up and she sleeps so well after playing hard. Prices are good in my opinion, and theyâve always been able to accommodate scheduling requests for us.
booking was very easy, they actually tried to help me find a local vet when i wasnât sure iâd be able to get shots in time. they took my last minute boarding request for a holiday weekend, check in was super quick and painless, and on pickup their review of my dogs stay was way more detailed and thorough than i expected. i was worried about finding a place for my senior girl but weâll definitely go back here!
This was our first time hiring a catsitter and we were reluctant to have someone we didnât know take care of Cece while we left town for the weekend. I found Fetch and was astonished by their overwhelmingly positive reviews, so I called and spoke to Matt who was extremely kind and helpful in clearly/concisely explaining how their business operates. I told my girlfriend about it and we werenât sure what to expect but Pam was excellent and super nice! She actually set up a time to come down, meet us at our apartment, say hello to our cat, and ask us everything she needs to know about taking care of Cece before we left. She also sent us pictures every time she stopped in to show us that Cece was okay which is really important to us as her owners. We use Sarah as our cat sitter and she is amazing! We know our cats are in great hands with her. In addition, this service is reliable, friendly, and always makes sure we have a sitter. This is important especially since we have to leave on short notice. I would recommend using Fetch and if you need a cat sitter, Sarah is amazing. We also use Wendy and she is great too. We had such a great first experience with Fetch. Our sitter was extremely professional and provided great care for our two cats while we were on vacation. She called or texted me each day she visited to let me know how they were doing which I really appreciated. She even was able to help us by coming over early one day at the last minute when there was a potential emergency situation with water leakage in our home. I contacted Fetch Pet Care to take care of my cat when I had to go out of town on relatively short notice. They were very accommodating and flexible, which I appreciated! Aimee took great care of my cat while I was away, and even sent me pictures of him to let me know he was doing ok! It was such a peace of mind to be able to keep my cat at home while I was away. I have used Fetch for the last 10+ years. When I have traveled I have had the same two people come into my home to care for my cats. After a bad experience with another pet sitting service (dogs were their priority), we discovered Fetch and used them for over a year when we lived in Pittsburgh. What I love about their model is that you get assigned an animal sitter which I prefer so that our cats get comfortable and familiar with one person. Obviously if they are unavailable, Fetch can arrange for a back up. Our cat sitter was Paulette and she was warm and wonderful to our two cats! She would usually send photos during each visit which gave us piece of mind. She would come twice a day, usually for 30 minute visits. And she was always ready to care for our furbabies on short notice. I highly recommend Fetch and Paulette for peace of mind when you have to go away! Billing is done monthly and you can add a tip if you are short on cash before going away.
Rachelle was so fantastic with my crew! One of my dogs is very distrusting of strangers and can take a while to warm up to new people. Rachelle was very patient and willing to come over multiple times prior to our trip so that Charlie could get comfortable with her. All 3 of my dogs loved her! She was patient and gentle with them, even when two of them found a skunk and ended up getting sprayed while we were away. She was very apologetic and willing to put in the extra work to bathe and de-skunk them, and kept me updated throughout the whole process of it. Cats are inherently shy and distrusting of strangers, but Rachelle was able to give Punky a shot twice a day, every day that we were gone!! Recently, I started fostering a dog (in addition to my own dog), and Rachelle and her sister both jumped in right away to come spend some time with the new dog and assess his behavior so that when I needed the once a week visit there would be no issues. I have recommended Doggone Awesome to a couple of my neighbors who are also thrilled with the service. Rachelle typically does a meet and great with each new client free of charge. Have brought my 12 year old lab here many times. 1st visit for my 6month old puppy. Very accommodating to my fur babies. Bringing them back in 10 days. Plenty of supervised play time, clean accommodations and going above and beyond for finicky dogs. Extra caring caregivers that can not be beat. Even has pick up services if you can't bring your dogs to them. Affordable prices as well. Always happy to leave my fur babies with country lane.

A nice variety of high quality foods and treats. I also board my Rottweiler here from time to time. I love the staff, they are so helpful and they love my dog, which makes me so comfortable when i leave her. She loves the staff too!
Bella loved her stay there. They are great with taking care of her. She is on daily meds, special diet, and doesn't get along well with most other dogs. She socialized with other dogs and they groomed her. She was on a nice vacation while we were.
We have taken our dogs to Mancusos Pet Hotel for 40 years. The dogs love going there, and they get the best care. Mancusos prides themselves that someone is always there overnight (not as prevalent in other kennels as you would like to believe). They are the best.
When we started to plan a trip to Italy, I couldnât get too excited until I knew who would watch our dogs. Our regular sitter could only cover the first several nights, so I had to find someone to cover the rest of the trip. I looked for hours to find someone who meets our high standards and could stay at our home, especially since we would be an ocean away. Once we did a meet and greet with Gabby I knew she would be perfect. Our dogs loved her and she sent us tons of photos, videos and updates. There is no doubt these pups had constant love and attention. I never had to worry about them which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we came home they were calm and healthy. I would not be able to say that if we left them at a kennel. We feel like we made a new friend and am so happy to know I can trust her with our kids. Our home was clean and all secure when we returned, what a great experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Salute!
I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say I have two high maintenance dogs, one being elderly and one being a Jack Russell (enough said on that one!) I always struggle to relax when I am away, because the older dog has separation anxiety, and at nearly fifteen years old, I know her days are numbered. It is hard for me to have peace of mind not being able to be the main caretaker of her. Then I found Gabby. I have never had a vacation where I was able to relax and not be worried about how everything was going at home. Gabby went above and beyond, even with the crazy medication and supplement schedule I have the senior gal on, and the demanding nature of a high drive breed. She sent updates and pictures every single day. I did not have to wonder what was happening or how everything was going. I honestly could write pages about how amazing our experience with Gabby was, but let's just say this.. BOOK HER NOW. I'm already looking for dates for vacation next year so I can be sure to have her in advance. Could not have asked for anything more from her at all. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would!!
I have 2 tiny dogs that have super sensitive stomachs and eat 4 times a day. I had to travel out of state for almost a week and was extremely preoccupied about leaving my 2 little ones. I found Melrose pet resort, and let me tell you that Gabby is the most amazing, comprehensive, and pet lover dog sitter you could found. She took care of my babies like they were hers, she went above and beyond to accommodate them so they could be separated from bigger dogs, as I asked, they could have their meals at their regular schedule and she also kept updating me constantly with videos and pictures of my little ones. They had such a great time with her, got to make a few little friends that were staying at her place, and even participated in a Christmas photoshoot!. She gave me piece of mind while on my trip, and I definitely will be using her services next time I travel.
I cannot recommend Gabby and Melrose Pet Resort enough! As a bulldog owner Iâm always looking for the best care possible since our boy tends to need a little extra attention, and we absolutely found it with Gabby. She followed our directions to a âTâ, and went above and beyond. She also sent us videos and updates throughout our vacation, putting my mind at ease about how our boy was doing. She also took great care of our home while we were away. Gabby is the best and we canât wait to plan our next vacation and get on her schedule!
Gabbyâs attention to detail is on another level. She did an amazing job with our dog, Remi. He is a creature of habit, and his transition from us being out of town to Gabby staying with him and taking care of his routine was seamless. She thinks of everything to ease your mind of what is going on. Her love for animals is apparent, and I appreciate that so much. Remi has specific medications that have to be taken, and I was not worried about Gabby covering everything perfectly. All the wonderful pictures she sent was a bonus, she should consider being a pet photographer! Thank you so much for taking care of our spoiled boy, Remi!
I cannot rave about how great Gabby and Kris were with my dog! Being a sitter myself I know I can trust them with my anxious little boy going forward. I have never left my dog with anyone but my family before and him being an older and anxious dog I was not sure how heâd do. But almost immediately Gabby and Kris made him feel so comfortable and right at home. He received all the attention and affection he needed and I also received all the updates and pictures I needed to know he was doing great. Knowing how well he was taken care of now makes me wonder why I was even worried about him to begin with! Talk about an AMAZING dog sitter and person, Melrose Pet Resort is a far better pet sitter that I ever came across. I came from out of state, and we were recommended to Melrose Pet Resort while we look for a home. Contacted her and immediately got a quick response. I never in my life have as much interaction with her as other dog sitters in the past. I have a Deaf dog and one with diet needs... Gabby constantly send photo's and video's of there activities, and I could see how happy my fur babies were. She is very personal and active with my pets and I am excited to have her again and as well as Chico and Bella. I am glad I am moving to Florida knowing when I need Gabby again, I will never have to worry about my fur babies again, knowing they will be in great care.... WOOF WOOF APPROVED
Hands-down, the best pet sitter I've ever had the honor to work with. It was like leaving the dogs with a family friend. If I even had the slightest worry about them or their care, it vanished in the rain of delightful photos and videos and the constant updates about breakfast, dinner, lizard hunts and games of Ball. It is just possible that my dogs had a better time than I did while I was on vacation. They stayed in their very own room, in crates for everyone's safety, but were out and about quite a lot of the time (certainly WAY more than they would be in a kennel or daycare) and they were treated like family. They got to "help" make dinner and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV. Obi even got to chase MANY BALLS AT THE SAME TIME. Heaven! Obi and Ursa can't wait to stay with Aunt Gabby again!
We recently put our baby Jasmine here after searching for a boarding facility for weeks. And I can't say how happy we are that we decided to choose Melrose Pet Center opposed to one of those facilities. Not only did she get personalized care, she got love and affection the entire time. We know so because Gabby sent us updates daily; mornings, afternoons when she could, and night. She sent Pictures and videos and Jasmine looked like she was having the time of her life. I also loved the cute bandanas she had while we got the pictures. We were even lucky enough to get a pic of Jas with Santa in their home (Thanks Kris!! Lol). Jasmine also enjoyed playing with her dogs, tiring them out all day! If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you again for treating our pup like she was one of your own!
I've been taking my pup here for the last 2 years and he us always so happy to see Allie and Jody. Just got a new puppy and the girls welcomed her with open arms as well. I have absolute peace of mind that my dogs are extremely well taken care of while at PPS.
We would not take our dogs anywhere else. The attention, care, professional knowledge, combined with flexibility and reasonable prices are unmatched in the Pittsburgh area. We use PPS for boarding and daycare. Most importantly, our dogs LOVE it there. We recently had 2 health scares and needed immediate boarding. With one text PPS had us covered and our dogs transitioned from daycare to boarding without missing a beat. No one better in the Burgh.
Allie and her team are awesome! We brought our 5 year old male cat for boarding and grooming a few weeks ago and everything was wonderful! Allie treats her fur kiddo customers like her own :-) So does Jodi! The groomer Justine is fabulous!! Sheâs been grooming my fur kiddos for years, super trustworthy and listens to your grooming needs. Never disappoints!

We boarded our German Shepherd over the weekend for the first time. The owners were very kind and accommodating and took great care of our girl! I like that they posted pictures and videos on their Facebook page so I could see how she was doing. She looked happy and content! We also had her groomed before we picked her up. Their groomer did a fantastic job and it was more affordable and better quality work than Petsmart where we usually have her groomed. Overall great experience and we will definitely use them again!
Allie came to my home and trimmed my cat's nails. She made an appointment to come over last week but never showed up. Never called or text or answered my calls. Very poor way to do business. I don't trust these people at all
We had utilized pet waste removal services. They were super disorganized and really poor communicators. They used to bill monthly, but then we stopped getting billed. They were continuing to show up to remove the dog poop though. I reached out multiple times with no response via both text and facebook messenger (left on read). Then we got a bill for FIVE MONTHS at once, which we immediately paid. When I asked about when billing would be (monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, etc.) they never responded. About six months later, they just stopped showing up, not notice. They would occasionally not show up a week (and usually when I reached out they'd eventually get back to me that they were behind a day or would be out the following week), so we weren't initially concerned. Turns out they decided to stop servicing our area with no notification, as I saw someone else complaining about being dropped with no notice, too. Took me 3 tries to finally get a response from the owner, Allison. We got set up with Poop911 (who have been doing consistent weekly billing and very reliable) and just moved on. Don't you know, in January, we got a bill from Pittsburgh Pet for services they did FIVE MONTHS prior, in AUGUST. With as inconsistent as they were and such poor communicators, I would not trust them to care for my dog. We were initially interested in daycare for our active pup & talked to Matt about it, but when we realized how poorly they communicated and the inconsistencies with billing, there's no way I'd trust them with the care of my pups.
The owners here are responsible and caring for animals, that's the best thing you can find in a local boarding place. They've taken great care of my dog, even though he kinda aggressive towards strangers, they didn't hesitate a bit. It's made it so we can still take trips without having to worry about our boy. I would definitely recommend checking them out for boarding and daycare.
Wow this place is incredible! We took our 3 pups here today for the first time and we were hands down blown away! The pups had a great spa day and we are happy customers!
