I had a great time housesitting for Ann and David, looking after their lovely cat Pushkin. She's a very friendly and relaxed cat who kept me company while I worked and enjoyed zooming around chasing her toys in the evenings! The house is very pleasant and cosy (with a conservatory for morning sun!), perfectly located in Burley-in-Wharfedale which has lots of nice walks, small shops and easy access to Ilkley & Leeds. Ann and David showed me around the house and garden when I arrived and provided all the information I needed. Communication was great before and during the sit, and even when there was an issue with the house, Ann was very reassuring and helpful. I'd really recommend this sit and would definitely return to look after Pushkin again!
Perfect pet/house sit. Pat and David have a lovely home with all the conveniences and features one could want. Murphy is The Best! He is very friendly, loves to play and snuggle, and he loves belly rubs and shoulder massages. Murphy is very easy to care for and love. The location is great for just relaxing in peace and quiet, watching birds and wildlife, or going into town, only 4 miles away. The cable internet and wifi are high speed. The bed is a very comfortable king, the kitchen is fully equipped, the 2 TVs are 65" Smart TVs with Apple TV, and there is a laundry room on the lower level. Pat and David were warm and welcoming, and gave clear, concise information on everything. We highly recommend this pet sit. We miss Murphy already . . . Larry and Sandy
Sarah and mike are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. They took us out for a wonderful lunch when we first arrived at a local pub and the food was delicious ( thank u so much for that Sarah and mike ) They went through all the house giving us all the information we needed to look after everything and feeding instructions for Harry and Georgie the cats . It was so easy to look after the cats who are so cute and adorable we fell in love with them and they’d often come and sit with us in the lounge and have cuddles . The house is absolutely gorgeous and we felt so comfortable and relaxed on our 3 week sit . Mike wrote down lots of things to do in the local area which was so helpful with wonderful country walks and stone cottage villages which are so quaint . We also had a great day out at Cheltenham races . We would highly recommend a sit and know you will absolutely love it and Sarah and mike too ! sally and chris
Lovely home, great location. The collies are very interactive with humans and love to just be with you. They have their own personalities and are a joy to get to know. Her home is walking distance from grocery store and places to eat. Great experience!

We loved to sit Pepper. First of all, this tiny puppy (2 kilos)is an easy doing dog, who does not bark when left alone, likes all canine and human beings she meets. You’re her best friend if you throw sticks to her in the big pond close to Anne’s home, and she makes you laugh when she runs after her ball alone once back home ! She goes to her crate when it’s time to sleep. But appreciates to stay on your lap when you read or watch tv. In spite of her heavy schedule Anne took time to organize a complete handover, welcomed us generously the day before her departure, picking us in Boston. Communication was easy, neighbours charming. Anne was very kind to let us her own bedroom and a car, it helped us a lot to discover the area during our stay, longer than initially planned. We drove to Cape Ann, Cape Cod, Cambridge, enjoying to take Pepper with us everyday : she always behaved nicely, in the car and also on terraces when she was allowed to stay with us in restaurants. Anne’s home is gorgeous, huge (to European standards) the backward garden very nice.” Our” bedroom, the TV and the reading lounges, the kitchen were all very confortable. Melrose is less than an hour distant by public transportation from Boston down town (the train station is 15 minutes distant on foot if you have no car). This residential district is lovely and totally safe. We’ve been very lucky.
