Ellie and Craig welcomed us into their flat located in a great community which is super close to a supermarket. Their flat is very comfortable and clean and they provided all the amenities you could possibly need. Pedro and Hercules were snuggly and fun during our weekend. They would have their play time and used the toys in the house which was pretty fun and after a day they warmed up to us quite nicely and warmed our feet and snuggled on the couch. Ellie and Craig provided us clear instructions on what was expected and we enjoyed constant communications with them in case anything came up. Thanks for opening your home to us!
Coralyn made my housesit easy and very enjoyable! She does an excellent job of explaining everything. Her home was fantastic and the kitty MishMish was adorable. The home is within 10 minutes of the main city Almeria, which is a wonderful city with lots to do. She also lives 2 blocks from the best Tapas Bar in the entire area. Definitely go to La Mayor...you will go back many times! Anyone who is chosen to housesit for Coralyn will be very lucky and will enjoy their time spent with MishMish, the beautiful area and beaches!
Adam and Nicole were great hosts and Bakhti was a proper Lady in welcoming me to her home. Baroness Bakhs spent about as much time as she could outside, surveying her kingdom, granting me an audience and allowed me to pet her whenever she was feeling generous. She could often be found lazing on the porch which, despite a New Orleans summer + heatwave, was a good place to sit and enjoy a gentle, albeit hot breeze. They all live in a good location in a great neighborhood, walkable to a host of nearby spots and not far from public transit to get you to a range of other places, and I even got invited over to a neighbor's birthday party. If you're lucky, go stay at Bakhti's, catch a movie at The Broad, go to Parkway for a roast beef po'boy, and maybe a frozen drink at Pal's. Hope to catch you guys next time I pass through New Orleans!
