It was a pleasure to care for Jack in Ashburton the last four days.He is a very friendly ,loving ,adaptable dog ,and a fun companion so we enjoyed some great walks ,(along with our little dog )especially since the weather was so glorious, we were able to explore Dartmoor which is on the doorstep. We were made very welcome by Jenny who left us local maps as well as other practical comprehensive information.A lovely house in a great location ,especially enjoyable being able to walk down to the vibrant town to eat or to get anything you may need.We very much enjoyed and would thoroughly recommend.

Percibal and R were just LOVELY. They are one of the sweetest pets we have ever petsit, and we love to spend time with both. Be aware that RD will try to scape, so be faster than her. Hands down my favorite sit — I absolutely loved sitting for Grace and Barry! They are incredibly welcoming, always welcomed questions, communicative, and were very thoughtful about my travel plans. And they’re also just really interesting and fun people! Guinness was the most and ultimate good boy. A gentle giant, and I loved waking up and coming home to his big, goofy smile. He was honestly such a breeze to take care of, and don’t be surprised if you miss him like crazy after you leave. You’re seriously lucky if you get to sit for Grace and Barry!
We had a lovely stay in Woolscomb. Frances and Roger are very helpful and welcoming people. The remote location is very quiet with beautyful surrounding. The cats are two quite different caracters, Erwin is the more friendly one and was more social to us. Kaspar showed up 3 days in our sit and craved just food from us, was not in to making us his friend. The hens and the greenhouse was an easy job to take care of with delicious eggs, tomatoes, peppers annd more. No problem recomending this to other sitters.
This sit made me even more grateful to be part of THS than I already was! It was the IDEAL animal-filled retreat. Christine went out of her way to guide me to her property when my navigation skills failed me, and she couldn’t have been more welcoming. On the first evening, she showed me exactly how to keep her animals healthy and content in her absence. I followed her instructions and, well, it was a love fest! Dogs Kinnely and Stacks are totally lovable and must be the most obedient pups I’ve ever met. Little Mijo the cat was as sweet as his dog brothers, and asks for affection with polite taps that will melt your heart. As for the horses, Christine had educated me about Lacey and Cruise’s distinct personalities, so I knew just how to approach them. They were calm, enjoyed attention, and relished being groomed. And barn chores were few and not onerous. The house itself is gorgeous, Southwestern in style and comfortable. The best part of the sit was taking the dogs down to the barn, which meant a “nature walk” (or drive) down a long, tree-shaded driveway from which I spotted turkeys, condors, deer, woodpeckers, and squirrels. I felt so lucky to have these experiences and I hope to come back!

After getting my American Cocker Spaniel groomed at Poulsbo Pet Club I couldn’t believe that was my puppy !! My pup went from looking like Chewbacca to looking charming and classy. The customer service was friendly too yet time efficient. A complete makeover in just a matter of an hour. I’m very pleased with the results and will now be a loyal customer.

I bring my 5 month old puppy, Sydney, to Poulsbo Pet Club for nail trims and they handle her with so much care! She's a bit of a drama queen so I was apprehensive about getting her nails done but they do such a fantastic job and work with her to get her more acclimated to regular nail trims. The staff is always so friendly and I love that they have a text line available for questions/appointments/etc. We love this place!
I like this place! New to the area, and I'm always just a little nervous to try new groomers... but I really like them. Sarah (or Sara) helped us today. She is very gentle, detailed and compassionate. She also gave great haircuts to my two little dogs. Very happy!
My dog, Kya, is a rescue with a pretty difficult history. As a result, she is shy and anxiety-ridden. Parker treats her with the gentleness she deserves and is exceptionally kind. I am thankful for such quality service available in Poulsbo!
After only 1 visit, we love Poulsbo Pet Club! I appreciate that they consider every dog's individual needs, the staff are really friendly, patient and provide excellent services. Our 1-year-old lab mix is a recent shelter rescue who we don't think had ever gone to a groomer before, and he can get a little nervous and overwhelmed with new things. No problem for Kara! We trusted Alder Creek when we left for a week-long trip across the country, and we will absolutely trust them again. Our dogs were well taken care of and seemed happy and normal upon our return. I love their attention to detail during the drop off process and felt so reassured every time I communicated with them. Can’t recommend enough!
The short skinny, these folks love animals! The animal cages are roomy and clean. My husky’s love going here for grooming and boarding. A couple of notes, they are the premier dog boarding place in Poulsbo, so if you would like to schedule with them please call them ASAP(especially around local holidays like the first weekend of snowboard season and any Finn River Event). I really should leave them a 1 star so that the rest of you stop booking them up😂😂 Story time: one of my husky is a rescue and he is a skiddish little fella. It is amazing to see his tail pick up and him getting vocal when he see’s the ladies here! He b-lines inside and they spoil him with love and attention through his stay! Con: They typically book up around holidays around 5-6 weeks out and are typically booked 1.5 weeks out for the rest of the year FYI
We boarded our dog Argo at Alder Creek pet lodge for 3 weeks while overseas and would highly recommend them for your pet care when away from home. We elected the play option and photos, each week we received images of our dog rubbing freely in one of the fenced yards. We received a text from the lodge letting us know our dog had developed diarrhea, they contacted our vet and they worked to help Argo. We were very happy and will take him back there in the future without hesitation.
This place is awesome! The owners love your pets as if they were their own and go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The amount of services they offer are vast and reasonably priced. They’re by far the best animal lodge in the state!

From one crazy dog parent to another, this is the kennel you can have confidence in to take your baby to stay at while your out of town. Alder Creek Pet Lodge has a spotless facility, outstanding staff, and beautiful fields for your pup to run in. Maverick got a bath and groomed before coming home and this was honestly the softest and best he's ever smelled. It was awesome picking him up not having to worry about bathing him at home after a long time apart. And even though he doesn't have injuries or arthritis he got to enjoy massages from the in-house small animal massage therapist to help with separation anxiety. It makes my heart happy knowing he got special 1 on 1 time with an added therapy benefit. If I could give this place 500 stars I would, but 5 will do. Keep up the great work Alder Creek Pet Lodge, Mav will be back :)

I have a pit bull and it is always a challenge to find a place to leave her when I got out of town. Alder Creek does an AMAZING job keeping her isolated and safe from the other dogs and treats her like a queen! In all honesty, I actually think her exposure to other dogs around her while she has been there has made a significant improvement in her socializing abilities! Everyone should board their dogs here
I wish I could give them 10 stars because they deserve every single one of them. And I’m so happy that we found Run dog run. I wish I would’ve found them years ago. Our dogs had been going to another location, but said they wouldn’t take them anymore because they were too playful. I have two golden retrievers, and one of them is a very happy golden retriever and loves to play. Run dog run knew exactly what to do and took very good care of both of my dogs. The place is amazing and the people are even better. Run dog run gets the highest approval I can possibly ever give and has my absolute strongest recommendation as the top dog Place in Kitsap county, and Washington state. Update: when my dogs were spending the night there, they would send us report cards just about every day that included a small description of what they did and pictures of my dogs playing and having fun. These folks really go above and beyond and do that little extra to take care of our pups.
This place is excellent. They're extremely friendly and obviously dog lovers. I haven't had the chance to use their taxi service, but their in-store daycare is great. They have a medium-sized patio walled off for outdoor play, and the interior is kept a little chilly for the dogs' comfort. You can board your dog here for multiple days, or you can do doggy daycare. The daycare is 4hr or 8hr sessions where they play with the other dogs. They even send "report cards" complete with how your dog did throughout the day, complete with pictures. An excellent touch. My fiancé and I decided to continue regular doggy daycare sessions after our boarding appointment, as our dog has no other dogs to play within our house. It seems to be a great outlet for him to socialize, while under the supervision of people who take excellent care of him. I'm very impressed with the quality of service here. Thanks again, and see you soon! Update: Our boy now considers this doggy Disneyland, he's not only on a first-name-basis with all the staff, they all know him as "Wiggles" because he wags so hard he slaps his shoulders into his hips with excitement. RDR continues to deliver.
I have loved every experience I had at Run Dog Run. The owner has done an amazing job remodeling inside and out of the building. Not only is this a place to get EXCELLENT boarding, daycare, & grooming BUT they have the cutest store where you can get just about everything you would need for your dog! I was able to find the PERFECT jacket for my large boy.

We love Run Dog Run! Our dog attends daycare there and we have boarded her there a few times. She always has a blast with the other dogs! The staff are so attentive and I never worry about her when she’s being taken care of by them. The grooming services are also great. Our dog is not a fan of having her nails clipped, but they have been going out of their way to work with her regularly and get her more comfortable with the process. They are the best!

Run Dog Run gets 10 stars!! We have been taking our white tornado (Golden Retriever), Cloud there for day care and grooming. He absolutely loves every second and every dog. The grommer had a tough time at first as Cloud was freaked out by the blow dryer but Kendal worked with him and he is fine now. The whole staff is great - we are giving RDR a 10 as they went way above and beyond. My husband and I were terribly sick and had them pick up Cloud for a day. That day found us both having to go to the ER and were admitted. I called RDR and they told me not to worry they they would board him, feed him make sure he had a toy and they would care for him as long as it took. After 4 days in the hospital we arrived home and they brought Cloud home for us. If Cloud ever got lost there is no doubt in our minds, he would run to RDR and ask to come in and play! I have been taking my dog there regularly for six months or so. They are absolutely fantastic. I love it there and so does my dog. They do everything possible to make sure your dog is happy and has fun!
Run Dog Run is fantastic, our Corgis love them! They play all day and come home tired. Boarding them for trips is sooo easy, they even have a pet taxi to pick them up! Their groomer is amazing, our boys stay clean for a week at least, which is quite the feat for the low riders. The are all truly compassionate pet caregivers and really nice people.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My dogs, Olly and Hank, recently joined the Big Valley family, and they’re already loving it! They’ve made tons of new friends (both human and furry!) and always come home happily exhausted. As a Border Collie mix and an Australian Shepherd, they have boundless energy, so finding a place where they can play all day and burn it off has been perfect. We couldn’t be happier with Big Valley!

BVPR is outstanding! Our dog loves to spend the day at day care, and the boarding care is exceptional as well. We also use the grooming services for our standard poodle, and know she is getting treated kindly along with the bath, dry, trim etc. The staff is very friendly and recognizes us every time. They are very careful with the dogs at play time, so you’ll relax while your pet is visiting.
Absolutely love Big Valley Pet Resort! The entire staff is friendly, facility is super clean and I know my pups are safe and loved when I leave them. We’ve been clients for several years (day care, grooming and kennel) and highly recommend all the services they provide.

I can not say enough Good Things about Big Valley Pet Resort.♥️♥️ Our boy “Bobby” a year old Golden Retriever loaded with sooooo much energy. He gets so excited when we tell him he is going to school!!! He gets to play with his dog family and even learn good dog manners and new words. He comes home ready for a before dinner nap. My husband and I are in our mid 70’s and really can’t run and play with him as we know he needs. Thankfully BVPR helps us with this. Bobby goes at least one day a week but often 2. He loves ALL the people who work there. WE SO APPRECIATE all the wonderful people, the advice and Great Care they have for ALL THE PETS in there care!!!! Fantastic Dog & Cat Sitting has been a wonderful partner in caring for our two cats, when we need to leave the area for a few days, or occasionally for a week or two. Dan is professional, coming to our home to meet us and our cats initially. We had a quick conversation, viewed the space and gave the specifics of their routine. He noted information for their emergency vet contacts, and where all supplies are located. If Dan has been booked when we were seeking a sitting date, he has a great team to reach out to, who've been able to help out in his place. Lynn sat for us recently, and did a great job. We feel lucky to have been able to rest easy, while our cats are being cared for by FDCS. It can be a big upheaval for pets, to have their humans gone for days. And so, to know that they're being cared for kindly by someone familiar, that seems ideal. This service is highly recommended!
I’ve relied on Dan to take care of my cat, Milo, when I travel. He does a great job of feeding and checking up to make sure Milo is taken care of while I’m gone. He even gives Milo his asthma medication using a special cat nebulizer. One thing I especially like about Dan is that the first time I used him, he came over to my house to meet the cat, made sure he knew which vet I used, and asked for emergency contacts. I’m glad I use Fantastic Dog and Cat Sitting Service and enthusiastically recommend him.

I have been using Dan’s pet sitting services for years! Dan is really personable, prompt, and professional. His staff care about our pets and we can leave town without worry. Jeff (one of Dan’s employees) has had a key to our home since 2018! Your pets will be loved and cared for. Jeff even picks up our mail and is happy to water our plants. Dan has been "fantastic" with taking care of my cats when I have to be out of town. He's taken great care of my older cat who needs insulin shots, successfully dealt with the younger ones who don't really like people they don't know, and has been able to make space for me on short notice when last-minute trips have come up. He's even cleaned up messes that have occurred while I'm gone. Would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality and caring cat (or dog) sitter!

This is a wonderful service! When I made my first inquiry, Dan responded within a very short period of time. I was pleased because often responses are delayed for a while. I met both Dan and Jeff ( who would be taking care of my cats) and was impressed by their professionalism as well as compassion for pets. While I was away for 10 days, Jeff kept in touch with all his cat reports. When I came back, my place was tidied up and my cats were relaxed. I highly recommend Dan and Jeff!

Sue is the best! She is warm, caring, and professional in all aspects of her service. We received daily photos and texts and found a nice report card and thank-you note upon arriving home. Sue has been great to work with! She happens to be my mom’s neighbor and we met and talked in her driveway. She has been organized and efficient, and my two senior animals love when she visits.
Sue Etsy is an amazing pet sitter & animal lover. She’s very organized starting with a meet & greet, After going thru our plans she was concerned about the long time between her last visit & my arrival. She suggested I add an evening appt for Romeo which I totally appreciated. Her care of Romeo was spot on & all his needs were met. One other thing - she told me Romeo is a “social eater” something I hadn’t realized. Now Romeo comes to me to escort him to food dish enjoys petting as he purrs loudly while eating. This made us closer.
Sue is a true animal lover, she is dedicated to her dogs as well as others. If you have her watch your pet you can be assured that they will get the best of care.

Usually Ben is our sitter, and he is amazing with my very temperamental, arthritic and all around diva cat, Phyllis. Everyone who has taken care of my cat at CTH is wonderful. I appreciate and look forward to the detailed daily report card they provide, including many pictures of the fur baby. I can’t recommend CTH enough, and feel so lucky to have found a sitting service providing so much care and love to my pet.
We've been using Close to Home for over a year and have only wonderful things to say about the company. Communication is great, the dog walkers are the nicest and send the sweetest updates, and the owner/team has been incredibly flexible/understanding with helping care for our dog since he was a puppy. They even accommodated walks at a different location during a home renovation. They are the best!
We have been using Close to Home Pet Services for dog walking for our two large dogs for about 1.5 years and have been continually impressed with the dog walkers, including the owner Drew, and especially with the communication from both Drew and from the other dog walkers. One of our dogs is reactive, and every single dog walker has worked with her to curb her reactivity, and we have even noticed differences when we walk her now. Our dogs genuinely look forward to walks with Drew and the team.
I've been using Close to Home for a few years and they are so easy to work with, easy scheduling and communicating online, and wonderful visit updates with lots of pictures. I have two cats, one of which is pretty shy - the staff is absolutely superb and they take such good care of them! I can't recommend them enough!
Our Shiba has been there multiple times now with no issues. He is spoiled, picky and doesn’t like people. I was iffy due to older reviews but gave them a chance anyways. This last time he was there for 18 days. He was being stubborn and wouldn’t eat so they mixed in rice and he was happy after that. I knew I made the right choice on choosing them because when I picked him up, he ignored me and ran out to the lady in the office and jumped in her lap all excited, like they were best friends.
The people who work here are seriously angels! They are so kind and compassionate. Our dog had a stress seizure (from separation anxiety, new environment, etc.) shortly after arriving. They were really calm and helped us by driving her to an emergency vet to get checked out. We are so thankful she was in the hands such fast acting and trustworthy people. Highly recommend, even though we didn't board very long with them!
When you walk in the stench of urine is incredibly strong. My dog came home covered in her own urine and she definitely lost weight from the stress. However the staff are very friendly.
We boarded our dogs for a total of 12 days. We opted to have them bathed before bringing them home. They smell AMAZING and are just as happy as when we dropped them off. We have nothing but amazing things to say about boarding / grooming at McDonalds. 10/10 recommend. Staff is so friendly, and truly treated our dogs as if they were their own. We are so happy we choose to board our girls here, & we will continue to do so when needed! Thank you to all the amazing staff at McDonalds Kennel for giving our girls a great experience, and giving us peace of mind while we were on vacation.
We have taken our dog Frida 4-5 times now and have had no issues at all. Highly recommend this kennel as all the employees are always so welcoming!
In 2017, I was going through a terrible divorce and preparing for a minor surgery. McDonald's Kennels saved me in a big way. I was worried about my three dogs, and I wasn't even sure how long I might need for recovery. The workers listened to my story and worked to give me peace of mind while the girls were in their care. When I came back to get my girls, the owners met me and refunded everything I had given them. And then chased my car because we left one of my pup's favorite squeaky toys! Truly amazing people with big hearts. I have many tearful smiles in remembrance of such sweet, kindhearted people. Thank you to everyone there. My girls and I are in a much better place (as you can see by my picture) and I don't think it could have been possible without McDonald's Kennels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You can trust this place. They did a good job with my dogs and worked around my schedule, allowing others to pick up my dog for me. The only problem I found it the smell. If you can, pay for a bath before your dogs leave so you don't bring the smell home with you.
Love love love them! Such wonderful people working there and my 2 dogs were so well loved and taken care of. I will not board them anyplace else! They allow you to bring your pets toys and beds etc to make them comfortable. They even offer grooming and baths!
I wanted to shout out this amazing, friendly staff kenneling place. My big pit Bull pup stayed here for about a week and had the best time!!! He was played with, loved, and placed in a big kennel for his needs. Thank you so so much for your patience and kindness to our baby moon!! They also offer military discount which is amazing!!!! I couldn’t recommend this place anymore!!!! They really are the best around with amazing rates!!!
We have taken our puppy there since we got him, about a year ago. They know Otto well and take really good care of him. He seems to enjoy going there. The owner and his staff are wonderful!

My dog likes the treat selection, there are a few that are unique to the area. It's a great pit stop on a walk downtown with a fur friend. I'm a big fan of small businesses and they are very friendly, I mean not as friendly as the dogs in there, but close.

I’ve been bringing my Siberian kitty Gracie to NW Dog for a nail trim since she was 4 months old. Her long hair makes it hard for me to see her nails but Kirsten’s expertise gets the job done in no time. Highly recommend NW Dog for nail trimming.
Our pup is a nervous little guy and Kirsten is always so good with him and his nail trims are over before he knows it. Plus the yummy treats that he gets from the bins afterwards, makes it all worth it! We have 3 dogs (2 large, 1 small) and a cat. We always find fun treats, toys, and accessories for them when in the store. All of our animals sport bow ties that we change each season, and we always get compliments! The NW Dog has a wide selection of anything that you need, and if they don’t have it, they always have wonderful recommendations.

Amanda at Aloha is so awesome with our dog every time. Buster’s an anxious pup, and gets a little nervous before his grooming appts, but she always puts him at ease and is so sweet with him. He had a “busy” end of summer with lots of beach/ocean trips, lots of prancing in fields and mud, and picked up flees somewhere too (which have since been treated)! Needless to say, he was in need of some good TLC, and Amanda did such a great job as usual! He was so happy after his appt, and very cute too. Thank you, Amanda!
We love Aloha Pet Grooming! Especially Sunni! She is so good with our pup and takes the extra time with him. We gravitated toward the mobile pet grooming because of the 1:1 time the groomer has with our pup. Added bonus, I can work from my home office while he is being groomed. Is it a little more expensive than bringing him to Petco; yes. But it is 100% worth the extra cost knowing he having the best possible grooming experience.
Amanda loves her job! She talks sweetly to Mika to calm her while she’s getting groomed. She is a “dog whisperer” and is such a loving soul. Mika is always in a great mood once the grooming is done!!

Today was our first grooming appointment with Aloha Mobile Grooming. Courtney was the groomer for our mini schnauzer, Chewbacca. She did a fantastic job! He looks wonderful! We had been to another groomer in the area that seemed to make him very upset. Courtney is amazing and I feel very happy to be using this company. 11-19-22. Our dog had his second groom with Courtney today and he looks AMAZING! She does such tremendous work. I can't say enough about how calming she is. Our dog can be difficult but Courtney makes him feel calm and less anxious. I am SO grateful for Courtney and this company. 4-21-24 Today was the second time that Sunni groomed our dog and we could not be happier!!! He looks amazing and is not upset at all. Sunni is extremely kind with our little guy and always grooms him with perfection. It is so reassuring that we have this grooming service and to know that our dog is safe and treated with such care. We look forward to Sunni's future grooming! 5-26-24 Sunni just finished grooming our miniature Schnauzer and he looks FANTASTIC! Sunni ALWAYS does a magnificent job. Aloha grooming is so convenient. Sunni does a wonderful job with my older English Cocker Spaniel. He is 10 years old and can be very nervous but we have had nothing but great experiences with Sunni.

Dog Dude Taylor is wonderful! I've been taking my dog there for well over a year and she is much happier now that she has an outlet while I am at work. Taylor and his staff are nothing but kind and very fairly priced for Seattle! Thanks for all you do Taylor (and Sadie)!
Extremely unsafe the way he handles multiple dogs at a time wearing flip-flops no control at all walks them in the hot sun at 3:00 p.m. people think their dogs are being taken care of he's in it for the money. And he takes many many risks with these dogs. When your dog ends up injured or dead don't be surprised
Taylor is the absolute best! My pup has been going here for about a year and a half, and she has the best time and always comes home exhausted in the best way after a full day of friends and adventures. Taylor is clearly a dog person through and through, and he goes out of his way to treat each dog like his own family. Whether it’s for daycare or week-long boarding, I know my pup is having the best time and is in good hands with Taylor
Taylor is absolutely wonderful! He's responsive, attentive, and genuinely cares about my pup. My dog cannot contain his excitement when he knows it's his day with Taylor. Also is prices are fair for drop and pickup, and I really feel like I'm getting the value of what I pay knowing that my dog is in good hands (and pooped by the time he comes home.) I would highly recommend his services!
Can't say enough good things about Taylor and his care for my pup. But the real review is from my dog - he is beside himself with excitement the moment he sees Taylor and is absolutely exhausted after spending a day at "Camp Taylor." His prices are so reasonable and his communication is superb. The whole experience has been fantastic.
My dog has the greatest time hanging out with Taylor and his pack. I’ve been using Dog Dude for a year and a half for daycare and boarding. I like his business because it is so small so Taylor is always with the dogs (instead of multiple staff). My dog has a lot of sensitivities and medical issues, and I know Taylor has eyes on them and will report back any issues. I’m certain my dog’s version of heaven is at Dog Dude Taylor’s.
When we noticed Taylor at a dog park, we knew right away we needed to meet him! Taylor is so in tune with each dog in his care, and he applies his deep knowledge, care, and teaching to both dogs and humans. Our dog Annie loves her time with Taylor and the pack. And we love his flexibility, fair pricing, and the range of support we need - from midday walks, to all-day outings, to overnight stays. He's the dude!
Taylor is phenomenal! He takes such good care of my dog. I can not recommend the Dog Dude enough. My dog is typically pretty anxious and does not like new places, but gets so excited whenever we drop him off. He doesn't even look back at the car. Best care in the city.
My dog, Leon, goes to Taylor twice a week. He absolutely loves it, comes home so tired & well exercised. Taylor really understands the dynamic of working with many different types of dogs, sizes and personalities. Literally every Monday/Thursday morning, Leon can sense he’s going to daycare and starts going nuts waiting by the door whining. Definitely recommend him to anybody who can’t be at home with their dog during the day (like me) or somebody just looking to treat their pup to an awesome day of play with other dogs!
Taylor has been such a wonderful blessing in both my dog and my life! My dog just adores him and is sooo happy and tired when I get off of work every day. He is a real life dog whisperer!!! So grateful to have met him!
