Three of the loveliest animals I’ve had the pleasure of looking after. Your home is so beautiful too and it was so lovely to meet you. Thank you!
Staying with Miss Fiona and the Kitty Cats was a great experience. This was my first sit waaaay back when at the end of July and we're almost to November as I finally write this. I apologize to Kat for my delay. I thought I did this, but maybe there is a send button I missed because I only have a 50% average looking at my profile. Kat's house is clean and comfy, her communications are clear, and there were a couple of parks to choose from when walking Fiona who was a fun romp! She was such good company too. And the cats? almost didn't see them. They liked to watch the world from under the dining table until the evening when they'd climb up to perch on the backs of the sofas. I'd do it again if the opportunity arises!
Kristen and Dan are kind and thoughtful humans, and we were delighted to meet them and watch their sweet animals while they were away. Due to them not having cell service on their travels, we didn't have any communication with them during our sit, but they set us up for success with their detailed instructions, intuitive layout of everything the animals needed, and clear communication leading up to the sit. Their 2 kitties were so sweet!! They were the perfect combination of affectionate and independent, and we loved their snuggles! It was our first time caring for ducks, and they had us laughing at their mannerisms and totally in love with the ways they waddled around the yard together and greeted us when they saw us. We recommend sitting for Kristen and Dan's animal family and hope that you will enjoy the cuddling kitties, waddling ducks, and intentionally peaceful environment that Kristen and Dan created (extra points for all the non-toxic cleaning supplies, too) as much as we did!
Taneal made it easy for us to navigate staying at the house with Freya & Odin. It was very cozy and the dogs are incredibly sweet. We loved how nice Taneal made our stay in small ways, leaving toiletries and amenities out for us. It was very thoughtful and made us feel at home. We loved the backyard and friendly neighborhood as well. We appreciated our time there very much!
It was my first official time as a catsitter and it was the best thing I could have done! I fell directly in love with my new cat Smithers, the apartment and of course Vancouver! Marie was totally uncomplicated, friendly and generous. She gave me the feeling of feeling at home! The apartment was cozy, clean and beautiful. It is perfectly located. I spend my time with exploring the city by bike and discovering fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants. But the very best was Smithers-in this cat you have to fall in love. He is incredible gentle and often made me laugh. The farewell was quite hard and I am going to miss him! I can strongly recommend to stay at Marie's apartment & I would come back at any time! Thank you so much Marie!
Wally and stormy were angels. Hesitant with me at first, which is expected, but after getting down to their level and showing respect to them in their home, they became excited to see me by day two. The home is beautiful and Landi and Julian were very accommodating, easy to communicate with and very informative from the start.
