Dog Sitters in Pownal, ME

Joe and Linda were great for our young puppy and our cat. I would definitely invite them to sit for us again. Everything was clean and in place throughout the house. Our animals were clearly happy with them as well!!

Audra and Chris both sat for our kitties, and they were fantastic, among the best sitters we have had. Audra was our primary contact and she is a highly effective communicator and has great attention to detail. She sent wonderful updates with pictures every day which we really appreciated. The kitties clearly loved them and got a lot of attention and were very content upon our return. The house looked exactly how we left it. They clearly followed our guide to the letter as every aspect of house and cat care was followed to a T. I could not recommend them more highly.

We were so happy to have Razeen return to sit for our dog Jake. He loved meeting her and sat next to her for some affection. We communicated well about arrival, departure times and Jake’s feeding schedule. House was in excellent condition upon our return. No worries while we were away.

Lauren took excellent care of our pets. One of my dogs is small and not very trusting- by the end of the week Lauren was holding him in her arms. She is very knowledgeable about horses as well. My house was just as I had left it when I got home. Great sitter.

Nikki arrived early for her sit so we had a few hours to meet her and introduce her to our dog Olive. She was very pleasant and we totally felt comfortable that she was the right choice for our vacation. Upon returning home our home was in very clean shape, the bedding was washed and there was a detailed note and vase of flowers that she had left for us. We highly recommend Nikki for your pet sitting and we will certainly reach out to her next time we need a sit as well. Thank You Nikki!

We really enjoyed having Wendy watch our cats. They were well cared for. She is easy going, flexible and very nice. She kept us informed and responded quickly. The house was well kept.

Despite a glitch over the start date Laura was a charming and reliable housesitter who gave Tuppence my Cockapoo a great deal of love and attention and also welcomed two Air BnB guests in my absence . I would happily use Laura again as I felt totally confident in her.

I was very nervous about leaving my senior rescue dog with a new set of humans…he had been through a lot. But from the moment Dani and Dawn walked in , I knew everything would be fine. They are both very relaxed and kind and Beau took to them immediately. They took exceptional care of my dog AND my home. I came back to a happy dog and a spotless house. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Dani and Dawn. Beau misses you!

Kristi was once again a star-sitter! She kept me posted with photos and I returned home to a happy kitty and spotless house. Kristi is welcome to stay here anytime :)

Ellen and Chris took care of my cat for 4 days while they were travelling in Europe. All was as agreed and the cat seemed fine as well as my place. They were nice and very self-sufficient.

This is a return visit for Bahman. He is conscientious and leaves the house in immaculate condition.

Kara was exceptionally trustworthy and attentive to my home/pet. It was an added feeling of comfort and safety to have my home and pet in such great hands-very grateful!

Maureen was a wonderful pet/housesitter. She was very professional, courteous and responsible. She communicated throughout the sit, sending sweet pics of our cat and asking questions when she had them. She seemed comfortable with taking care of our older kitty and giving her meds. She left the house spotless. I would highly recommend her.

Sydney was the perfect pet sitter. She loved on the dogs everyday while she worked from home. She promptly got a flight to arrive at our desired day/time and communicated with us regularly about her coming and going. She did a great job walking the dogs, giving them medicine, feeding them according to direction, letting them sleep with her and keeping the house clean. We would love to have her come again.

Dani and Bea were the perfect sitters for my first zeewoi experience! Communication was smooth, they were proactive in setting up a call and an in-person meeting ahead of my dates. While I was away they sent lots of photos and updates so I never had to worry about Banana and Kuzco. Upon returning the apartment was cleaner than I left it, and the cats were happy, healthy, and energetic as usual. They are welcome to stay anytime!

Alice was only here for a short sit but she was lovely! My Penny took to her immediately and, based on the photos Alice shared, it looks like she had lots of fun playing together. The house was just as I’d left it when I returned. I’d be happy to invite Alice back.

Lara is a caring and responsible sitter, and overall lovely human. She took our pup Denali on multiple walks a day and really catered to his needs. We received numerous photos and videos without asking, which we absolutely loved. Lara also did an impeccable job taking care of our garden, watering the tomato plants and flowers. We came back to a clean house and a happy pup. We’d welcome Lara back again!!
