Dog Sitters in Poynings

Lucy (Mouse) is a brilliant sitter, who I would thoroughly recommend. She is absolutely lovely, great communication, very clean and tidy, and my dog was well looked after. As she is local, she even came over one evening before the sit so we could go over all the info about my flat and dog, which was much appreciated and made the first day of the sit much less stressful for me. I don’t think my dog wanted me to come home, and I even arrived back to daffodils on the table - I would love to have Mouse as a sitter again!

Xenia looked after my cat Nnedi, and a tank full of frogs, fish, and snails while I was away for a week. She was communicative throughout, sending me daily updates and lovely photos. She came around before the sit to double check the arrangements, and the place was spotless when I came back. I’d happily recommend Xenia for your sit

Danielle house and pet sat for us during an extended weekend getaway. She was available for us to meet before the sit, to get to know each other a bit and to help the pets adjust to her. We instantly felt at ease and were happy to entrust her with the care for our dog and cat. She sent us regular updates during her stay and even offered to go to the store and buy us bread and milk for our return! We arrived back to find the house immaculate and most of all we returned to happy, relaxed and well cared for pets. We could not rate Danielle highly enough, she went above and beyond and is the best house and pet sitter you could ever wish for!

Maya and Hamish sat for us and looked after our home and our cat Jerry. They are a lovely, highly responsible and organised couple - all you could wish for as sitters. Easy to get on with, kept us up to date with their arrival time and had an air of confidence and reliability leading up to the sit. During their time on the housesit, they kept us informed about our home and pet. He was comfortable, happy and even allowed occasional petting! They were flexible with arrival and departure and waited up for me, even though I was delayed. Everything was great in the house on our return - a clean house and a happy cat. I thoroughly recommend them as sitters and hope to have them back in the future. Great Housesitter’s!

Ruth looked after Basil whilst we were in Portugal for 10 days. She was amazing from start to finish and so much so that I think Basil was pinning for her when she left. I couldn't recommend her more, she is very calm and caring and a lovely down to earth person. I felt very comfortable with Ruth mar also very confident leaving Basil and the house in her capable hands. She instilled trust in me right from the get go just because she is so genuine and easy to get on with and clearly knows what is doing with cat care as well as organising things in general. Basil absolutely adored her and I will definitely invite Ruth to Basil sit again and can't recommend her enough. She is so reliable, trustworthy and capable and well as being lovely. Thank you Ruth for doing such a fantastic job!

We were delighted to welcome Stella, Dane and their family back to. Kilndown. It was so lovely for Murphy to have familiar faces back and especially children to play with. Even better, they are back in September for a couple of weeks which is wonderful and we hope they have a great time here with Murphy. They very kindly left a fabulous foraging book that they had written themselves and we have already tried the jam recipe with our grandchildren.

Although they are experienced pet sitters this was their first sit with zeewoi and they were wonderful. Jyoti (our cat) was completely at ease and spent plenty of time on their laps. The chickens were well looked after and they managed the broody one efficiently. Excellent communication before and during the house sit. They followed our detailed instructions conscientiously and left the house clean and tidy. They cooked a meal for us on our return and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them for future sits.

This is Nicks second sit with clover & Marshmellow. He’s absolutely lovely. Takes clover on long hikes, Buys her treats. Keeps the house super tidy & is a great communicator. He is very self sufficient and low key. I would give him 5 stars and absolutely have him back if timing worked out. Thank you Nick.

Becky is amazing, this is her second sit with us and slotted straight in again, it was a pleasure. The dogs really like her, wagging their tails as soon as she stepped in the house again.. I would highly recommend Becky and would welcome her back without hesitation.

Sibyl as always was an excellent sitter, she kept us posted with updates and pics of Murphy and Beanie, and the house was left lovely and clean when she left. Sibyl has sat for us on a number of occasions now and is always a great communicator, flexible and reliable and above all Murphy loves her! Xx
