A ten star sit! Meeting Tracy and Harold and their Wonder Dog, Mello was love at first sight. They welcomed us with open arms and cooked us a fantastic dinner that made us feel like dear friends. Mello is aptly named, being the most easy going dog a sitter could ever wish for. Walking him to the Duke of Gloucester street every morning was like going back in time. Staying in their gorgeous, architect-built home surrounded by trees and gardens was like a fantasy. Our hosts were thoughtful and generous and truly interested in our enjoying local activities during our stay. They printed their thorough Welcome Book for us to have at our fingertips. Amazing people, amazing dog, amazing home and location made for an unforgettable sit. We wish we could live next door!
Lola is such a joy to spend time with and Wendy is lovely! She made sure we had all the information we needed to care for Lola and her home, as well as went out of her way to make sure we felt very welcome and comfortable. We also appreciated the training time she has put in to make Lola such an easy dog to be around - very well behaved and such a loving girl who is always up for a cuddle and, of course, play time! We were all smiles with her. Wendy's home is very nice and clean with everything you could need nearby- and even a beautiful little garden in the backyard. Definitely a great base for Christchurch! We'd be happy to house sit for her again and are happy to have been the first sitters to show her how wonderful TrustedHousesitters is! :)
Having recently completed a house and "Jaffa" sit for Ruth at her lovely home in Orange, I'd not hesitate to recommend this owner, house and independent but loving cat to others. Jaffa loves to know you are there, is always welcoming when you return from one of your cafe visits, but pretends to be nonchalant! The house is in a quiet location, very comfortable and within easy access to downtown Orange. Ruth, the owner, is wonderfully organised so all went very smoothly.
5 Stars. This has been a special sit. Normally we won't do local sits as we like to see new places (Holzwickede is just 10 km from Dortmund). However, this time we had 3 good reasons to sit close to our home town: Casey, Stefan and Hudson. Casey and Stefan are extremly friendly and warm-hearted. We met them some days before the (short) sit and immediatly felt at ease chatting with each other. And then there is Hudson. A playful and lovely chocolate brown teenage labrador boy. We had so much fun caring for him and we would be happy if we could look after Hudson again. We can highly recommend this sit.
Catsitting for Amanda was an absolute delight! She’s a very friendly and interesting person, and her love of cooking means she has great restaurant recommendations, and her kitchen equipment is ready for your cooking needs. Amanda’s cats Chico and Dallas were both so sweet and well behaved (except for stealing my water every time I put a fresh glass down haha!). Chico was super playful and followed me around like a bouncing shadow, and Dallas was more laid back but still came over for Netflix snuggles which I loved - I miss the boys already! The apartment was very clean and functional, and the bed was comfy. It is situated near various tram and bus stops, and there are supermarkets and cafes within short walking distances. I would happily come back to catsit whenever Amanda needs me :)
I really enjoyed my time at Jerry's. They have an amazing location close to union city that is easily traversable to various points of interest. The cats are lovely. I am really happy with the hospitality Jerry showed. Cheers!
