Sitting for Windy was absolutely wonderful! Birdie and Jack are adorable jobs a complete a joy to look after. Windy's home is conveniently located just a few mins from town and immaculate! There is even an office if you need to work while sitting, which I did. Communication with Windy was a breeze and she was even able to go on a walk with the dogs and I to show me the neighborhood before she left town. Definitely recommend!
Fred is a very sweet dog. His parents made it very difficult to enjoy this experience. Important information was withheld until right before the sit was scheduled to occur. My job involves me filming dogs eating treats. When I was first contacted about house-sitting I explained I would want to film Fred eating treats and was told that was absolutely fine and it would be great if he became famous! 3 days before I arrived I was told Fred was not allowed any treats and that I should try to refrain from even having treats in the house. At the same time I was warned that Fred might wake me up in the middle of the night to go outside, but it shouldn't be frequent. No problem, but wish I had known earlier. Unfortunately, all but 2 nights Fred needed to go out between 3-4am. Most disappointingly, after double checking and confirming the dates of the stay, the host had given me the wrong dates and I needed to end my stay a day early with less than 8 hours notice. I was not local and had to find a new way home at the last minute. Fred is a very good dog and fun to be around, but the terrible communication on behalf of his owners made this a difficult experience and I would not watch Fred again.
Leila is a very friendly and easy to take care of cat. She quickly warms up to you and then likes to hang out and get cuddles. Martina’s home is a bright and cosy apartment that is fully equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It’s in a great location with some nice shops nearby (I fully enjoyed buying some delicious olives at the Italian supermarket) and the tram, U-Bahn and Sbahn at your doorstep. Communication before, during and after the sit was always good. :-) I can fully recommend this sit and would gladly look after Leila again should the opportunity arise. All the best to both of you!!
First & foremost, Fiona is honestly probably one of my favourite dogs I’ve ever met in my life. She is so incredibly sweet and calm, so we’ll behaved and so loving. Just looking at her little cute bat like face and puppy eyes made me melt. She was an absolute pleasure to take care of and I highly recommend her! Brian and Michelle have a nice home, very comfortable and I felt very safe there! I really like the whole house had adequate drapery and automatic locks everywhere etc so it felt private and safe. I slept like a baby every night and with Fiona by your side you feel great! I definitely recommend this sit! I miss fiona already 😭💜💜💜
Jennifer and husband are a very cool stay! They neighborhood is one of the best neighborhoods coming from a Denver native that grew up in the Denver Tech Center! However, their two fur babies are just so cool! Izzy is so funny about her playing fetch but always so respectful and patient! And well Roxy just can truly speak to you with eyes that will be making you giggle all the time! It is a lot of fun! Such a great stay! :)
