My 3 week sit with Ellys animal companion Neo aka Piddles was the highlight of my 2 months in England. Elly is kind, empathetic, and very generous. She's a fantastic communicator and wants her pet sitters to have an amazing experience. Ellys flat is light and bright, very clean and set up with everything I would need, in a fantastic location accessible by foot to many attractions and shops. I loved my walks to the sea! I was very comfortable there and my bed was super cosy. Caring for Neo is absolutely wonderful if you love holding and cuddles. He is a sweet soul and I loved hanging out with him. Neo regularly curling up in the crook of my arm napping was a beautiful moment I won't forget.
We had a grand time in Santa Barbara. Todd left very detailed instructions and anticipated all questions/concerns. Elmer and Elsie were utter sweethearts. It was heartwarming to observe them cuddling together! The neighborhood was great and the house itself was lovely. We highly recommend this sit.
House sitting for Marike & family while looking after Pepper was such an enjoyable time. Marike was best organised, so lovely & easy to communicate with and made us most welcome to the greatest luxury housesit we ever had! Their house was very tidy and spotless clean, is beautiful new renovated and absolutely comfortable. Our kids really appreciated all the kids toys in a wonderful created own kids play paradise from their own children. A peaceful place to relax and enjoy the pool and outdoor area with a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Pepper is a very cute, good soul and a so lovable and cuddly dog. She accepted our golden retriever Samy and us straight away and has been also very good with our kids! We would highly recommend house sit for Marike & family and happily return anytime! Francesca is a very caring and organised host. She made me extremely welcome when we met prior to the sit showing me around her beautiful home and property, and insisting I stay for a delicious lunch. Francesca also invited me to stay a day or two prior to the sit. During this time she drove me around the local area so I could become familiarised with three of the nearby towns for shopping and public transport. On top of this Francesca left her car with me along with a list of interesting places to visit during my stay. Caring for her home and tribe was a pleasure. The chickens and turtles are fairly self-sufficient, and the dogs are relaxed and happy to hang out at the house. They will let you know if you are running a bit late for a walk. Walking with the dogs off-lead in the nearby vineyard is great. They get to run freely in a secure area. Walking the dogs a short way down the road feels a bit sketchy as the roads are narrow. The drivers however are very cautious and will slow down and give you a wide berth. If like me, you will be arriving by bus, it is quite possible to do so but the buses don't run frequently. There is a stop at either end of the road on which Francesca lives. It appears to be about a 20-minute walk to the home from the bus stop however Google maps does not position the house correctly. Walking is not advisable. Fortunately, Francesca insisted on picking me up from the bus stop which made the journey so much easier. Like all places I stayed in Italy, the internet signal was not consistently strong. This could be an issue if you conduct online video meetings. Overall, this is a beautiful location, with great companions, and a generous host. Highly recommended. Celeste
My time spent with the ginger trio in Amy's home was just what I needed. The house is lovely and the nature surrounding where the dogs can roam is great. I was hesitant to let them roam off leash as I was in no mood for a chase, but it was no issue. Kenny really does love his humans and will always come find you, and Honey is well - her name says it all! The personality of the three animals are great compliments to each other, I would sit for them again anytime.
