We are so thrilled that zeewoi connected us with Rick and Sally. We could not have asked for better caretakers for our creatures, and we feel like we made new friends as well. The animals all loved them and seemed to really connect with them before we left and were very content when we returned. Our dogs got good walks and our kitty got the tremendous amount of love she requires. I can't recommend them more highly!
Thanks very much to Andrea, Jeremy and Harris for a brilliant house sit. Their house and garden were such a lovely space to spend time in and as for Harris what can we say. He is such a sweetie- he was very welcoming to our Labrador Jess and they became a great pair on the various outings to the village pub, local villages and walks from the doorstep. Andrea and Jeremy were very generous hosts indeed and it was a pleasure to look after their lovely barn conversion and tend to the garden- Harris enjoyed all his walks and was an avid lover of playing catch in the garden and out on his walks. We can only recommend their house and dog as a house and pet sit- their generosity was boundless, communication prompt and attentive and we hope to go back if invited when they are away next time.
Mabel and Harry explained everything before the sit and they left us detailed notes about Honey (Whippet), the house and the neighbourhood! Mabel was also available on the phone throughout the sit in case we had any questions. Spending time with Honey was so nice! It was a pleasure to take care of her and get to know her! She is a very cute dog and we became friends from the very first moment! Honey has her routine which works great and it's very straightforward. The flat is very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, there're plenty of stores, restaurants and cafés nearby. We really recommend it, we would pet-sit here again without any hesitation!
This is a not-to-be-missed housesitting experience! Jack, the female cat, is lovable and undemanding. You’ll find yourself seeking her out for some lap time, which she is always happy to oblige. The house is large and charming AND well-organized. I sat during the sultry summer months and was totally comfortable with 2 fridges, a great A/C and ceiling fan system and guest bedroom with an ensuite. The neighborhood is upscale and friendly. There are loads of great restaurants and big box shopping within 15 minutes. In the evenings, the serene and screened back dining patio looking over farmland, is a wonderful place to relax. The summer was over before I had time to participate in half the touristy activities available. I would happily return.
I loved this house (or boat) sit. The boat is amazing and in such a great location. Everyone who passes - by boat, canoe, paddle board or over the bridge, are so sociable and the other boat owners are really welcoming. The boat is very spacious and has everything you could need and is actually very stable too, apart from when a big/fast boat goes past, then it rocks a little, but soon calms down. Hastings is an absolute sweetie. Loves a cuddle and a sofa snuggle. He's great on walks, on and off the lead, and comes back when he's called. He is a very vocal dog when he's on the boat, which can be a bit trying, but I know Angela and Con are working with him on figuring out his territory. Would definitely recommend this.
Kathy and Denise are lovely people with a beautiful place and very sweet pets. I felt like I was on a retreat in the country even though the town of Happy Valley was close by and seen from the fantastic outdoor spa. I really loved playing in the yard with Enzo and snuggling up with Fantuzzi by the fire. I highly recommend this sit.
We had a wonderful week with Hugo, Marley & Winston. Nick & Ellie were incredibly helpful and welcoming before and during the sit. They made it super easy for us and gave us lots of recommendations to explore Hanoi. Hugo is a friendly, lovable and well-behaved pup with bundles of personality! He’s great on the lead on the 20 min walking route that Nick & Ellie showed us before they left. The cats were sweet and easygoing, and grew more comfortable with us during our stay. We felt very at home at their gorgeous apartment which is in a lovely area of Hanoi. We’d love to come back to look after the boys again!
