Cat Sitters in Prince William County, VA

Christine and her son Stefan stayed and cared for our 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, home, and garden for a month while we were away. They did a beautiful job stepping in and caring for the space and animals as we would. Chris communicated the few unexpected incidents for quick resolution. We would welcome them back anytime!

Lindsey was so fun. I can see us being friends if she lived closer. She had a great attitude and personality. I loved talking with her. She did a great job with all the animals and was very responsible and confident. Lindsey was very conscientious when it came to their care and well being. She didn’t have a lot of experience with horses but was willing to give it a try. She did great. If she had questions she didn’t hesitate to reach out. If she’s willing I would love to have her back!

Maryjo and Jon were great sitters! They took really good care of all of our pets and the house. They were communicative and reliable. We would welcome them back anytime!

Andra and her family were wonderful sitters for Lucy, my Frenchy who’s a bit handicapped. Andra sent me frequent updates and photos of Lucy that made me realize she was having the time of her life—getting out in her dog stroller, eating in the backyard of the Mexican restaurant that always gives her milk bones, and playing in the backyard. Plus, Andra monitored my mail for me and alerted me to anything that looked important. I can’t say enough good things about her and her family—they even left me some excellent food and a nice bottle of wine! Their past experience with caring for all kinds of dogs is quite obvious and came through from the first time they met Lucy. Plus my apartment was very well cared for. I’d let them sit for Lucy any time. I honestly didn’t worry about a thing with them in my home!

Maria and Annie were awesome! They kept us updated on Maya while we were out of town and I swear our home was in the exact condition we left it in like they weren’t even there! I am pretty sure they even fixed a curtain rod in our other guest room (thank you!!).

Chandra was such an excellent sitter for our two pups! She is such a kind gal who truly cares about your pets and your home. Communication was great and we received lots of updates and cute photos, and she asked questions when needed. Our dogs were happy and our home was clean when we returned. She even bought a few toys for them that they LOVE! I would highly recommend Chandra to anyone.

Nell was a great house-sitter. She was responsive and reliable and was easy to communicate with. Our pets were safe and sound and doing well when we got back. The house was clean and well-taken care of. I would recommend her highly to anyone who needs a sitter!

Chuck and Heidi spent a week at our house in August while we were away in Yorkshire with our son and his family. They are currently on a round Europe tour, and have now moved on to the Baltic states. They were very friendly, and conscientious, and looked after our house and garden well, picking fruit to put in our freezer. They both plainly love animals, and took extremely good care of Jordy, our dog, including when he suffered one of his periodic seizures. They arrived as strangers and left as friends, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as great housesitters!

Alyssa was an amazing house sitter who took excellent care of my 4 furry kids. She kept in contact everyday and ensured I arrived home safely in case other plans needed to be made if my flight was late. Highly recommend Alyssa!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Annette and her daughter Claire were great! They clearly enjoyed the cats, were tidy and careful, and they rolled with the punches when I showed up home earlier than they'd expected (my fault, I usually text to let people know my ETA but I was in an area with bad connection and didn't notice the message had failed to send) they just dealt with it cheerfully. I'd be very happy to have them back any time they're in the area!
