Mark
Mark is a great host, calm, friendly and organised. His apartment is beautiful, warm and comfortable. We came for 4 days, it was very easy to reach by train and we did not miss having a car as the shops, restaurants and train station are very close to Mark’s home. The location is stunningly beautiful and there are walking trails into the mountains right from the front door. Pepper and Dickens are affectionate, energetic and very well trained. Chikita and Teddy mostly looked after themselves. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful home and spend time with such gorgeous animals.

Celie
We had a great few days at Feering. Celie and her husband were lovely generous hosts and made us very welcome in their home and we had a lot of fun walking Peach and Millie, who were so cute we didn't want to leave them.
Highly recommended.

Amanda
Looking after Lucy was such a pleasure. A beautiful loving girl, very low maintenance, loves her walks, especially the beach, and snuggles galore. Amanda and Gordon invited us for lunch a couple of days before which is always a bonus to meet, in this case Lucy, and to have a tour of the home, ask questions etc. Amanda has prepared a very clear and comprehensive information pack, covering all matters relating to Lucy, the household and the area. Amanda’s home is immaculate and a pleasure to maintain. The sitters suite is lovely. A superb sit, in a lovely area, fabulous Lucy and generous and kind owners. We will most certainly sit Lucy again if requested.

Roxy stole the show!! Such a little cutie and in many respects, very well trained. Leila was very welcoming and quick to communicate as necessary.

Her studio flat has a great view to the sea and Brighton and Hove beaches are a 4 mins walk away. The flat has all the basics apart from Internet. Although the flat is not “the lap of luxury” you could say, it has everything you need and the “high rise” bed is comfy once you are up there (there is a sofa bed option).

One of the things I enjoyed the most was a comfy, large armchair and foot rest and Roxy and I would sit there together watching the waves and sky change with the weather mood, although Roxy was more interested in the people illegally exercising their dogs in the garden square below! Once she understood not to bark at them, we could all relax. I should add that she is very well toilet trained (not always the case with the smaller breeds in my experience).

Shops, restaurants and some nice local pubs are just up the road and Brighton Pier (unfortunately, no dogs allowed), and Lanes about a 20 min walk, which is enjoyable with Roxy along the beach front.

She was very good in the town and wasn’t so easy to be stepped on as I had feared, perhaps partly thanks to her bright, weatherproof outfits which onlookers seemed to appreciate! You can always pick her up if necessary as she is so small and light. She was very well behaved in restaurants and cafes.

As I said, Roxy is the highlight because she is a happy little thing, intelligent and interested in everything around her. She is most certainly a head turner and although she doesn’t let all the attention go to her head, at least some of the glitter fell on me as the “proxy owner” :)

I was really sad to have to say goodbye to Roxy. As every petsitter will know, some pets you miss, and some you miss a LOT!

Rachael
Our stay with Poppy was lovely! This was our first international sit, and it was such a relief everything went smoothly-Rachael spent the time to meet with us in person, went over all the key points, and even went on a walk with Poppy to help orient us.

Poppy is the sweetest, most affectionate pup, with lots of energy! She always wants to be by your side but is also really independent as well, so we didn’t have to feel too guilty when we went touring London. Rachael was super sweet and responsive if there were any questions and really made us feel at home while she was away.

We highly recommend this stay! We really miss Poppy & London already!

Joe
It was a pleasure to house and petsit for Joe and Lizzie and to get to know and spend time with their cat, Spryo! He was a bit shy with me at first but then warmed up to me after the first night. He loved spending time in the backyard chasing bees and flies, playing with his wand toy, and coming into the room in the morning to get all the pets and scratches when I woke up - he even sat on my lap for a bit for pets which was a surprise!

Communication with Joe was amazing as we had an initial video call, a meet-up a few days before the petsit to go through everything as well as kept in touch with daily updates, pictures, and videos during the petsit. Joe even provided detailed videos on feeding instructions and other important details which was helpful to refer back to if needed!

Joe and Lizzie's place is beautifully decorated and clean in a quiet neighborhood with cute coffee shops and a great sourdough bakery nearby! The bedroom is super comfortable and even has views of central London in the distance!

I would recommend a house and petsit with Joe, Lizzie, and Spyro and would be happy to come back anytime! Thank you again for having me take care of your home and fur baby!
