Nick was responsive during planning and cooperative when it came to scheduling around our travels. He was communicative when necessary and was super self-sufficient otherwise. We came back to a house that was in great shape and pets that were well cared for. We’d definitely work with him again.

Marcus and Eleonore’s amazing property has the indefinable feeling of ‘home’ – the relaxed vibe is almost palpable, and I was immediately comfortable looking after Jim and Wilson (who largely did their own ‘cat’ thing) and Truffle, who is endlessly entertaining and is very well behaved for a young dog. She's excellent in the car and was very happy to be out with me for hours when we went further afield. Eleonore (Leo) provided me with a lovely room with beautifully comfortable bed, chocolate, Welsh cakes (delicious!) and freshly picked flowers – more like a B&B, and all for just a weekend! Sitters have access to the whole house, the history of which is fascinating, and endless gorgeous walks in surrounding woods and farmland. I was only there for a couple of days so didn’t even scratch the surface of this beautiful area – very much hoping for a return visit to these kind and generous hosts, and to reacquaint myself with their lovely pets (particularly the sock-stealing Truffle!)
Grey and Kona were delightful to look after. Grey was always chatty and wanted to hang out and Kona was lovely and sweet. The house is wonderful and located in a quiet, great location. I would recommend anyone to house-sit there. Thanks for everything!

My Rottweiler “goes to camp” weekly and boards here when I need to go somewhere without him. As a rescue who was poorly socialized as a puppy, he was very nervous at first, and suffered with separation anxiety. The staff have won him over, and we’ve worked with Cierra in group training classes to improve his manners and confidence. Now he loves his weekly visits and doesn’t even look back at me as he runs off to play with his friends when I drop him off. Plus, his vet says he’s the best behaved Rottweiler at their practice. They get busy and booked up during the summer and over holidays, so make sure to book early during those times of year.

The safety of the dogs is a high priority to them and I can tell they try their best to observe the dogs and provide the best experience. I had an emergency come up and needed day care. Everyone at the facility has gone out of their way to help. They have done everything needed to make sure I do not need to worry about my new work schedule that changed without warning. We have been taking our 8 month old puppy to Camp Good Puppy since he was 4 months old and have had nothing but wonderful experiences! We’ve utilized the daycare services weekly and have done a few boarding stays. Our pup gets so excited to go to camp and runs to the workers, just as fast as he runs to us 😂 We love reading the report cards they provide and can tell everyone truly cares for our dog! He gets to go to camp and run around in fields and just be a dog. So thankful Camp Good Puppy is nearby!
Camp good puppy is such a great place! I took my dog Pepper there for the first time (pepper is really shy and kinda scared of other dogs) anyways pepper spent 10 days there and she made friends! She also isn't as shy anymore! This is such a wonderful place to take ur dog the workers are so sweet and responsible, I can really trust them with pepper! I toured their property with owner. She gave a great overview of their program and how it has been in her family since they opened. The faculty was well set up and open plan Good flow for incoming and out going pets. When viewing the kennel area it was clean and bright and organized. This camp is a balance of play and rest. Not a good fit for smaller dogs unless they interact well with other breeds and sizes. Good positive visit and tour. A nice fit for weekly day care and for a fee days boarding.
Our dog, Huey (ACD/Russell/Pitty), came to CGP with a lot of reactivity issues, especially on a leash. We attended their Basic Manners and Reactivity classes, and Huey had improved leaps and bounds from where he was. I have so much more confidence as a dog owner.Cierra is incredibly patient and invested in her training, which shows, considering how attentive and knowledgeable she was with our dog. This is a great place to bring your dog for amazing training by and resources. Highly recommended.
I love this place and my dog does too! It’s in the country they get to smell the air and be socialized with other dogs, while being who they are individually. I feel like my dog gets the attention she needs while staying safe. And I love the stuff they are receptive and caring and reliable. Thanks so much for being there camper good puppy!
My girl started off a timid rescue. Wet Noses has been amazing! They have really helped her to find her confidence with other dogs and people. They are great at communicating, sending emails when vaccines are due, info on the dog exhibiting sickness or other issues. My dogs looks forward to her days at Wet Noses, whining with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. I recommend them to everyone!
Wet Noses and Wagging Tails is awesome! I take my two dogs there every week and they always come back happy and tired. Staff is very friendly and flexible with drop off times. This was Buddy’s first time going to doggy daycare so we were kinda nervous about how it might go. Buddy is a very high energy Aussie so we were concerned that he might be too much. Our concerns were for naught. Employees at Wet Noses & Wagging Tails are well experienced with high energy dogs and were actually excited to meet Buddy. Buddy had a great time and the best part was, he was totally exhausted! 😆
Our dog Cooper absolutely loves WNWT. He gets so excited he starts barking as soon as we turn onto the road leading to it. It is reassuring when your pet is so excited about being left at doggy daycare. He’s never responded that way to anywhere else we’ve ever taken him. He comes home tired and happy every time! We just started taking Sadie to daycare and boarding and she loves it. She is so excited to go for either the day or a sleepover. The staff is absolutely wonderful with dogs. I mean look at the grin Sadie has, that says it all. She’s one happy dog!
This review is long overdue. My spoiled princess has been going to Wet Noses for some time now and I sometimes think she may love them more than she loves me. The best thing that could have happened to us and for our pup Regal is finding Wet Noses & Wagging Tails! From day 1, the staff has been just awesome! Her 1st day of school at just 4 months old all the staff really took care to nurture her timid personality. Regal completely feels at home there now and all the staffers have been so kind watching her grow up. W just LOVE that she can stay in doors with her friends when wet and cold out or outside on nice dry days. It has helped her so much in learning to socialize and more importantly to get her very much needed exercise fix. She just loves it, can't wait to rush in to her pals and when the day is done strolls out nice and tuckered out from a long day's play. Thank you so much WN & WT!!
We were so nervous taking our (also nervous) dog to daycare and boarding for the first time. Our fears were quickly averted - they are helpful, friendly, and above all they love the dogs! I appreciated the extensive vet checklist and the fact that every dog goes through a temperament test before being admitted into the facility. It makes me feel like my dog is safe around all the other dogs. Love the photos and updates, couldn't be happier with the service.
Susie's is absolutely amazing! Our Kono loves it there! Everyone there is so sweet and take such wonderful care of our little princess. Drop off and pick up is easy and smooth. She was excited to see us but didn't want to leave either! I highly recommend Susie's I'd give a 10 if I could!
I'd never boarded my dogs before. I always had house sitters. I tried Susie's and I was pleased. My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up and didn't smell. When I took them back the second time they seemed happy to be there, so obviously no hard feelings from before. The folks were easy to work with and the check in, check out process was smooth. I was helping friends while they were on vacation in Greece. I had to pick up and drop off Barnum, their dog, several times. The staff that work here are so wonderful. You can tell right away how much they love all the pets. I would definitely recommend Susie's and if I had a pet I would not take it anywhere else. You guys are the best.
If I were a dog, I would want my owner to board me at Susie's. Joking aside, I've used Susie's to look after my 3 dogs many times over the last couple of years and have had a consistently excellent experience. I have no doubt how much the people who work there love animals, it shows, and it gives me total peace of mind leaving my boys with them. Additionally, they are wonderful people, kind and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough.
This is the only boarding facility where I wasn’t worried about the well-being of my 3 pups while I was away. Adorable and thought setup. Friendly owner. Extra clean facility. Fair prices. The only kennel we’ll use in Vancouver. Make sure you book early- they are popular and space is hard to come by!

I NEVER leave my dog! However I had to board him for several days & I'm so fortunate a friend told me about Susie's. Welcoming, clean, wonderful staff, excellent care of my baby and reasonably priced. Years ago I had a bad experience leaving my dog so I am very critical of any facility. Susie's ticks all the boxes. You can safely entrust your fur baby to their care.
Susie is a fantastic trainer and she runs an excellent, clean facility that cares about you and your dogs. We have had to leave town fairly frequently and Susie has been dependable, her staff is friendly, the drop-off process is thoughtful and clear. I can't say enough about the facility itself; it has a great vibe. It's welcoming and professional. I know my pets are safe. We feel so very fortunate to have Susie and her team to care for our pets when life takes us out of town. Would recommend, thank you.
Jan deserves 5 stars, we’ve left our dog with her many times and always know he’s in good hands. She has a lot of experience with dogs and is very good with them. Kennels are clean, warm, and dogs are walked twice a day!
Awesome experience! Got a great vibe from the owner, who was super accommodating for drop off/pick up. Didn’t worry about my girl for a minute. It was obvious that Jen has years of experience and has the wisdom and confidence to show for it. The kennel itself was basic, but very clean & cozy. The property was beautiful and the dogs get daily walks in nature. Price was very reasonable and included food, treats, and any little medicine needed to navigate poorly tummies, etc. if they come up. When I picked up, my girl looked healthy (maybe even chunky from all the love she got), happy, and in good health!

I wouldn't trust anyone but Jan with my dogs.... I have been a client of Jan's for several years. She is well caring for my dogs, and treats all of her boarding dogs with love and respect. Jan is very knowledgeable with dogs and the training of dogs, Jan is excellent with small and large breed dogs. As her and her husband were trainers of police dogs. You will not have any concerns when you meet Jan and see the large fenced acreage she has available for the kennel. My dogs and I look forward to our visits at Happy Barker Kennel.
Jan has countless years of hands on experience in caring for and training dogs of all breeds. She is so great with all the dogs she cares for and makes herself available all throughout the year. The kennels are clean and spacious. They are on her beautiful and natural property that is easy to find!

While leaving the dog to go on vacation never feels awesome, I trust he's being well cared for at Happy Barker. Jan is very sweet, lets us know how he's been while we were away, and went above and beyond this last time, when he had a minor problem. As is the nature of vacations in the NW, we usually leave when the weather is worst here, and Pam does everything she can to make sure the dogs stay warm - blankets, doghouses, even space heaters (at a safe distance). To be clear, this is not doggie day care. Doggie day care is not for every dog, or every budget. For our semi-needy, not-always-friendly-with-other-dogs, dog, Happy Barker Kennel is a perfect fit. He loves the walks he gets on the large wooded property. We will be back!

Megan was a LIFESAVER! We had a sudden trip and were unable to book our usual sitters, and so I reached out with less than 24 hour notice and Megan was gracious enough to watch our cats for us. Megan was prompt to get back to me when I needed a sitter for my furry feline friend and was flexible coordinating our initial meeting to work best with my schedule, during which she took great notes and requested payment upfront for the initial sitting (the price is very reasonable, read more to see why!). When my trip had to be extended due to unforseen circumstances, Megan was there to save the day! As others have pointed out, Megan went above and beyond, accommodating unusual requests including brushing my little guy's teeth and watering my plants in the scorching heat. When I returned it appeared as though I never left, kitty dishes and litter box sparkling clean, watered plants, and one very happy kitty! I will most definitely be requesting her services again! ❤️

Megan was a huge help caring for an injured rescue cat we had only had for a few weeks. She was calm and loving, and even provided wound care. Megan was there exactly when she said she would be with no surprise fees or incidents. I came home to a clean litter box, no litter tracked through the house and a comforted, relaxed cat.

Megan has taken care of my 16-year old cat, Chicken, on several occasions. She does a fantastic job, providing consistent updates and photos, making sure Chicken eats, has a bit of playtime, and has plenty of fresh water and human time. I don't worry about Chicken while I am away, which is exactly what I was hoping for with my pet sitter.
The only thing worse than having to leave your baby behind when going on a trip is the anxiety of leaving your baby’s care in the hands of a stranger. Fortunately, Megan has quelled that anxiety for me and made my life so much easier. I no longer have to strategize my entire life around my cat-child, or worry if I’m gone for a weekend (or even a week) because I know she and my home are in the best hands. Megan is kind, warm, responsible, and professional. She loves cats (even more than me if that’s possible) and is truly a doll to work with. I’m able to completely trust her, knowing my cat-baby and house are being well taken care of.
Catherine has been watching our two cats during our trips for three years. She genuinely cares for the well being of the kitties, making sure they’re safe, healthy, playing, giving affection. She makes it all easy and we can stay in the moment on our trips.
If I could rate 1,000 stars, I would. Catherine watched our kitties for seven years and gave them so much love while we were away. We always knew they were in good hands with her. We looked forward to her daily updates and loved the photos and videos she shared whenever we traveled. As they aged, she handled changing diets and new medications with ease. She is thorough, capable, kind, and deeply attuned to the kitties in her care.
We have had several cat sitters over the years, but Catherine is by far the best! Her professionalism is unsurpassed, starting with the initial interview, in which she gets a full health history of your cat, and even asks what your wishes would be if you don't return from your vacation. Not exactly something we want to think about, but just an indication of how seriously she takes her role as a caregiver in your absence. While we were away, we got daily updates about our cat and many photos and videos. Catherine went above and beyond to keep us informed about anything going on at our place. We feel completely at ease leaving now, knowing that our cat, and our property, is in good hands. Her love of and respect for cats is apparent.
It was my first time leaving my two cats alone overnight so I was very anxious about it. Catherine’s thoroughness and expertise with cats and their unique behaviors/needs was exactly what I was hoping to find in a cat sitter. The daily text updates with lots of photos put me at ease and allowed me to relax as much as possible on my vacation. Knowing my cats were not only getting their basic needs taken care of every visit (food, clean litter box) but also tons of playtime and attention that was tailored to each of their individual preferences was amazing and something you don’t get with every sitter. If I could, I would give Comforts At Home Cat Sitting a hundred stars. I have known them for several years and felt completely confident in asking them take care of my inside, one-year old cats for two weeks while I was out of town in October 2024. CAHCS are so knowledgeable, professional, caring and conscientious. During our home visit as we discussed what I needed for my cats. While she had the opportunity to meet them, she made suggestions, based on her experience, that never occurred to me before this time. While I was away, she spent quality time with my cats and sent me daily reports on their progress with photos and videos.(Sadly I cannot get any of from the WhatsApp to share here.) We've had Catherine with Comforts at Home Pet Sitting take care of our 2 cats during numerous trips - short and long - during the past 2 years that we've lived in Vancouver WA. She is incredibly professional - she gathered tons of info before the pet sitting started - vet, emergency contact, medical issues, etc. and she always gives updates each day - both text (with photos) and written (left for us when we get home). Each time we've felt our cats were very well taken care of (and plants too!), and she's gone above and beyond trying to accommodate our more shy cat. There was a time our apartment manager had scheduled work in our place while were away, and Catherine was flexible and understanding with arranging visits at particular times of the day to make sure the cats were contained to one room while they were entering. As well as moving our outdoor furniture and plants when they painted the building. We're moving away from the area soon, and can only hope to find a pet sitter as wonderful as Catherine in our new city.

She also vacuumed their hair, which made it really wonderful when we came home. She kept us updated on all of their activities and sent us pictures and videos. It made us feel no stress while we were away from home! It certainly makes us want to travel more together, so that we can have that time knowing our cats are well cared for.while away! Catherine has been an extraordinary pet sitter, and we are thrilled to have her to care for our two kitties. We were so impressed when we did the initial interview with how incredibly thorough she she was in gathering detailed care information and planning for every contingency. While we were away, the daily photos of our cats playing with her, eating, and accepting her affection were incredibly reassuring. Our shyest cat, who often hid under the bed with previous pet sitters, was playing actively on the first day. Animals have a sense of people who genuinely care for them, and they are as happy with Catherine as we are!
