Torpedo is the most lovely and loving lap cat you'll ever have a chance to meet. He made my stay at Julia and Michael's already amazing place even better! He'll snuggle up to you at all times, anywhere you're sitting, that's where he'll be. Julia and Michael's place is in a great location in Neukölln - in a street with many nice bars, great restaurants nearby and close to public transport if you'd like to see the sights in the city. And in summer: close to Tempelhofer Feld, a lovely place to hang out. It's really convenient, but also just a lovely, bright apartment with all of their plants and great sense of style and decoration. You'll feel right at home here. And of course: Julia and Micheal. Two lovely human beings who'll be quick to respond to every question you might have. It was my first time cat sitting through this platform, and I couldn't have wished for better hosts. In short: really recommend!
The stars of the show of this house sit were definitely the pets - they are all adorable and we fell in love with them. Maisie, the old girl was just a delight, very affectionate and enjoyed her morning walks and the odd swim. Olive was a bundle of fun and boundless energy - she never stops chasing a ball. Both dogs were very well behaved, especially when taking them for a walk, we didn't need to put them on leads and they responded immediately to commands. The cats were just all gorgeous and enjoyed lots of cuddles with us and with each other. The chickens were funny and we enjoyed our plentiful supply of fresh eggs, and Flo the rabbit was very easy to look after. The house is situated in a lovely area, walking distance to the creek and many local pubs. If you are looking for a immaculate, minimalistic house to stay in, this sit is not for you, however if you want to sit in a quirky, well lived in family home, where it is clear they love their pets (as did we!), then you will love this house sit. Lou was lovely and responded quickly to messages throughout.
This lovely family home was a joy to stay in, thank you so much for allowing me to look after 3 of the loveliest and best behaved dogs I have ever met. Walks aplenty ,fab views of the fells, Kirkby Lonsdale , a great little shopping town and Booths a mere 7 minute drive away, perfect. Plus a really superb risotto cooked by Catherine the night before the family left for their holiday, a great welcome meal to a delightful few days with the dogs, cat, and chook. I’ll come again if Im lucky enough to be asked!
I really enjoyed spending a month with precious Roli and Matakia and was so sad to leave them. They are super sweet, entertaining and the best snuggle buddies. Maryjean was friendly, quick to respond and very kind in making sure I had everything I needed. Her beautiful house is in a quiet and peaceful spot with gorgeous views. I hope to come back soon. Highly recommend this sit!
This is such a cute spot ! Right next to literally everything you need. Amazing bagel shop and brewery like 100 Ft away . Right by a lake too! MAYA is the best !! I took her on a few walks a day , which she loves ! She’s a total sweetheart that likes to roam in between the house and the yard. She’s so pretty ! Very informative house guide . Rad owners. If you get the chance to stay here you should🌷.
Barb and Glen were so generous with their home. They even gave me free passes to see a concert in the area. I enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. The back half of the home is a screened in very large patio (favorite place). The patio overlooked a well-manicured and private yard. Patsy was such a cuddler and easy to please. Shaggy was my favorite, always making me smile and loving to play. Chewy and Harry (Maine coons) were the sweetest felines I had the pleasure of meeting. I would highly recommend the animals, Barb, Glen and their fully appointed home.
