I feel VERY lucky to that Jody applied and accepted our pet sit. She was our first "trusted petsitter" and I have a hard time imagining anyone better. We came home to happy healthy kitties and an immaculate home. We were gone for the entire summer - so Jody really had to live in our world and care for our plants and animals and home and she was so present and gracious and communicative. Our whole family felt really comforted knowing Jody (and Michael) were in our house with our animals. Thank you!! This was such a great experience!
Taking care of Phoebe was a pleasure since she is a very tender, affectionate and clean cat. Unfortunately, when we arrived at Clément's home, we were surprised to find that the apartment was not as clean as we expected or as we have had in other experiences through the app. The bathroom was not in a condition to be used. The toilet bowl had traces of dirt and scale everywhere. The bathroom floor had accumulated dirt for weeks. The tub, sink and bathroom walls also had accumulated dirt and scale. The kitchen was in similar conditions. Grease and food remains on the counter, floor and countertops. All the dishes and cutlery were dirty and needed to be washed before using them. In addition to the floor being covered in dirt and food, we found broken glass which was a danger to us and his pet. Finally, the entire floor of the apartment was covered in dust, dirt and cat hair. It was not a pleasant experience for us to find the apartment in that condition, as we had to clean it when we arrived after buying cleaning products and implements since there were no necessary items available in the apartment. It is important to mention that after speaking with the application's help desk and with Clément, he took responsibility for the situation. He reimbursed us the money we spent on cleaning products and hired someone to go and clean the apartment completely.
I can't say enough good things about my sit for Janet. Barney and Zoey are the sweetest, easy going, well behaved dogs you could ask for. Barney is the older of the two and takes one medication. You would think you were giving him candy he takes it so well. Zoey may be younger but rules the roost which Barney accepts most graciously. They are a hoot to watch. They love their morning walk which is about the only thing they insist on. Janet is a very gracious host. She warmly welcomed me and made me feel right at home. Janet leaves detailed instructions yet was available to check in with. She allowed me to bring my 16 year old granddaughter which was not part of the original agreement. Janet's home is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is a chef's dream. There is also a gym, pool and coffee bar/grill available to you. There is also a country club restaurant. Janet's home is a little remote from commercial business but situated in a beautiful country club area complete with a golf course. It's the perfect place to unwind or work remotely with no distractions yet close enough for some fun day trips to Prescott, Flagstaff, Jerome or areas around the Verde Valley. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature apply for a chance to be chosen. You won't be sorry. Absolutely a dream sit.
We definitely recommend it. We were very well received, Peter and Pat are loving and very receptive. ❤️ Babies Star and Sky are adorable, we love taking care of them so much. SKY really likes to play with balls, she will ask you to play and Star loves stroking her belly and lots of kisses, she comes close and shows her tummy to receive affection. They are extremely affectionate and intelligent. They lead you towards the snack they want. It's impossible not to fall in love with them.😍 And Peter and Pat are a great couple, we loved the experience so much, and at parting I even received a gift that I really loved. The house is beautiful and cozy. All the experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
