Denae was awesome! She arrived on time and sent us pics of how Maddy was doing. The house looked just like we left it.
We would use her again!

Ute
I had the pleasure of staying at Ute's house with my friend recently, and I must say it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Ute and her family were exceedingly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the beginning.

Marco kindly provided us with a tour of the house and introduced us to Lily, their charming pet. Communication with him was seamless, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt incredibly well-received.

The apartment is cute and located in a fantastic area with plenty of cool spots nearby.

Lily, the household pet, was an absolute delight to be around. Friendly, amiable, and easy to care for, she quickly became a cherished companion during our stay.

Big thanks to Ute and Marco for an awesome time!

Hope & Lee made us feel immediately welcome upon our arrival. They are friendly, communicative and have a huge heart for adopting rescue dogs.

Chica & Lenny missed them dearly on the first day. At the onset, you might experience their whimpers by the door (wondering why Mom & Dad left them) and Lenny might be a bit unruly on the leash but rest assured, after the transition, these two characters are absolutely charming and loving.

We would recommend you have patience walking them. Lenny likes to be where Chica is but he also wants to go at a different pace (faster and further). She likes a leisurely stroll like an old soul. Our experience was that they seem generally non-reactive to other dogs but we typically avoid closeup greetings when pet-sitting. Other passing neighbor dogs would bark but Chica and Lenny were unphased.

The location in Foz is fantastic and safe and beautiful. The home has all you need, including a roomba to contain the mountains of fur.
We did keep windows closed while out (not sure if they’d manage to push open and follow us) but upon return, the steady ocean breeze brought lovely fresh air to stuffy dog smell and cooled everything off, too.

Mealtime- easy kibble 2x a day
Treats-oh boy, Lenny will not miss a beat on an opportunity. After sweeping, I didn’t fully latch the door to broom closet/treat kingdom and he helped himself to a lot of them before we came back down the hall. I felt terrible as he could have gotten into even more. Everything has to be up and away.

We think Lenny & Chica are loving dogs and grew very fond of them. They lean into you with their hugs. They greet you with the best wiggles (although sometimes get spooked by John- both are a bit timid around men). It was like they’d forget who he was for a minute and then once he sat down, the two would ask him for pets! I write more here than normal because it is a GREAT sit if you are experienced with shy rescues that could use a little more leash training. There is definitely some wrangling 😀

We feel fortunate to have been trusted with this special opportunity and sweet dogs and would love to repeat some day!

I had a great time hanging out for a few days with Bella, Maybelline, Supreme and the soon-to-be named lil pup. The time truly went by fast. Their routine was pretty straightforward and they loved running around and playing with each other for hours at a time.
