We couldn’t have asked for more! We had a fabulous holiday safe in the knowledge that our 2 cats were in the best of hands! Margaret and Nick left the house immaculate for our return. We were only sorry not to get to meet them in person. Huge thank yous M&N! X

Some pet parents may be looking for the merest assistance - food in a bowl and a little attention for their pets here and there. That bare minimum is what you will receive with this couple. If that is good enough for you, then great. If not, you should understand that they are not suited to care for your home, and more importantly, your beloved companions. We were quite baffled by how underwhelming these two cared for our pets and our home. Teddy and Bear were fed, yes, but the particulars which were clearly stated in our initial video conversation, and are further detailed in the manual, were quite obviously not followed. Having grown up with dogs for 20 years and had the pleasure of cats as pets/companions for more than 25 years, it was quite obvious by their behavior (particularly Teddy’s) that the care we had requested of them was overlooked. The “plant person” in Lucinda was definitely not present either. We had left clear (in pictures and text messages) which of the plants needed care over the week. Random plants we had NOT requested to be watered or cared for had been (leading to overwatering) and others we had requested were completely neglected, some of which died (a few on our balcony). The respect of our kitchen was completely absent. We were quite taken aback to find dirty dishes, bowls, and glassware put right back in the cupboards, unwashed, stained, littered with food, wine, drink, even lip residue, as if they had been rinsed with water and just thrown back in. It would be impossible to have put them away in such a condition without completely neglecting soap and a dish sponge. It was really, pretty nasty. Throughout our time away, we asked how things were going and from the beginning tried to give reminders about the particularities (because they were late on arrival and we could not see them before we had to leave) to which we were constantly responded to with “I know.” They clearly did not know, or did not care, and used our home like a bachelor pad, trying to clear things up at the last minute, as if we had no awareness of, or insight into, our own home, pets, or plants.

Didn't get to meet Bob but seems to be a nice chap! Left the house clean and tidy and updated me about Gwyn if I needed him to. Gwyn did go missing to our old house whilst we were away, but she had done this on lead up to Bob's stay, hence us getting someone to sit just for few days (usually she'd be fine without sitter) but Bob helped go look for her. Favourite thing about Bob is he's an eco friendly traveller, so we're all supportive of that!

Andrea and Flor looked after Kenji and our house for nine days this summer. They arrived a day early at our request to meet Kenji and learn about his care. They were very good with our dog and we could tell they were experienced and cared about animals. They had good communication before and during the stay. We came home to a happy dog and a very tidy house. Thank you Andrea and Flor!

It was a delight to have Deb come and stay and take care of our dog Rocket. She was friendly, welcoming and Rocket seemed very happy when we returned. Our home was well taken care of and she sent us updates, we recommend her! A very open, bright person!

We couldn't have been happier to have Stephanie and Andrea sit our pets. They were so considerate, caring, and thoughtful towards them. They also kept our home clean and tidy and were very easy going. I would highly recommend them as pet and house sitters.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Luca and Martina and to have them look after Jack and Bear. They were quiet and studious guests providing my boys with love, cuddles and walks with regular updates and photos of the fun they were all having in my absence! The boys were incredibly chilled when we returned from our holiday so I knew that they had been well cared for. A few issues arose while we were away and these were dealt with efficiently and without any fuss. And Martina cooked us a delicious supper which was very much appreciated at the end of a long journey home. Luca and Martina are highly recommended and welcome back anytime!

Audrey and Léo were great at communicating when we had a last minute trip come up. They were communicative and left the apartment sparkling clean! I only wish I had gotten some pictures of my cat while they were there, but I did not ask for these.

Massimo was a wonderful pet sitter! He clearly adores cats and ours felt super comfortable with him from the beginning. He is thoughtful, kind, and clear. Would recommend to anyone!

Manuela è stata una cat-sitter fantastica. Ha accudito con attenzione Mimì e Bianca. Mi ha mandato tutti giorni e più volte al giorno foto e video per non farmi avere nostalgia, è stata sempre puntuale nelle risposte. Al mio ritorno ho trovato la casa in ordine e pulita e ha mi ha anche preparato la cena. Non avrei potuto avere esperienza migliore. Consigliatissima!!!

Andrea really helped us out at the last minute for a short trip and I am so grateful to her! She is a wonderful sitter and I would happily have her come back to care for our boy.

Margherita is a very enthusiast woman, understanding and reliable. She loves to discover new places and she really loves pets. She stayed with my furry family only for a weekend and they were well cared of, so I hope to have her back the next year, especially cause she lives not far from my place.
