We were delighted to have Gerry and Ella as our pet sitters. We instantly felt at ease the minute we met them and within a few minutes of meeting the dogs they were on the floor stroking and massaging all 5 of them - not an easy thing to do with only 2 pairs of hands! I knew then that they would be in safe and caring hands. They also befriended our 2 nervous cats during our stay away. On our return it was obvious that the dogs had bonded with Gerry and Ella and looked very relaxed and happy. They were very good at emailing and messaging before their arrival with details of flights, trains etc. and also sent several photos whilst we were away of them sitting with the dogs and that put my mind completely at ease so we could enjoy our holiday without any concerns. The pet feeding area was clean and tidy when we got back and even the food and water bowls had been scrubbed out. They had kept our half an acre gardens very well watered during a hot period which is hard work. Ella cooked us a delicious meal on our return which was an added bonus! They are a charming and relaxed couple and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to pet/house sit and would certainly be very pleased if they would come back to us in the future.
We enjoyed Kaye and Peter’s company the night before we left, as we were away for over 4 weeks they were handing over to a family whom had previously sat and we all exchanged numbers so that was flawless. We had the right amount of updates and photos and we’d definitely love to see them again and not necessarily just as house sitters!, although both the fur babies would be more than happy to see them . Adam and Pete also need to have another crib tournament!
