Really enjoyed our sit for Greg, Jess & sweet little Zoey! Communication was easy & organized, their apartment was tidy with wonderful travel memorabilia in a nice neighborhood and Zoey was super cute & cuddly. She was a bit shy the 1st day (but not freaked out under the bed shy) and warmed up quickly. Just a lovely cat who adores outside patio time and as much brushing or back scratching as time allows. Would happily sit for them again.
Maria, was a wonderful host and Chrissy and Amos were just adorable. I really appreciated Maria's help while I was having car troubles. She came though clutch for me and has a true calming demeanor. I wont ever forget that. :-)
Rebecca welcomed me to her beautiful spacious house with a wonderful meal, a show round the house and clear instructions as to what she wanted me to do. Her 2 dogs were real little characters, they knew the boundaries, were fond of one another and very easy to look after as there were so many places they could run around despite the house being so close to the centre of the city. I loved my 5 days spent with Porthos in Lelly and Philip's beautiful home; the whole experience was like living in a quinessential English postcard. Porthos is an affectionate, easy-to-get-along-with pooch who walks comfortably on lead and is very undemanding. Looking after the chickens and collecting eggs was easy and fun, and I loved hanging out with the doves. Bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly every night. I went to a couple of local markets where everyone was friendly and I could stock up on local produce. Even with overcast, gloomy days, the whole location and experience was a joy. I would be back in a heartbeat.
This was our first sit through THS, and I fear that Kate, her home, and Pearl have set the highest of bars. Our communication with Kate prior to and during our stay was great. Kate's welcome and hospitality was wonderful. Her home is beautiful, spacious and immaculate. The surrounding area rivals anywhere in the UK. However, the absolute star of the show (sorry Kate) was Pearl. From her gleeful trot as she walks, to her joyful welcome each time we returned to a room, Pearl is a heart achingly gorgeous bundle of pearlescent cockapoo curls. We enjoyed every moment of her company, and were both very sad to leave.
