Vera came to stay at our house for two weeks in and did a great job of looking after our cat Lucy, as well as our home! Lucy seemed very relaxed, happy and totally chilled when we returned so it was clear that Lucy had been very well looked after by Vera... Thank you! She kept in touch with me and sent daily little updates with photos which we had requested as we miss Lucy when we are away. Our house was in perfect order when we returned and and we had a nice evening together after our arrival. Everything very relaxed. I think Lucy missed you in the days that followed, dear Vera.

Gabriele jumped in with an offer to help us when some sitters cancelled on us. She came by in person in advance of the sit as she lives fairly close by, which was lovely as it gave us a chance to get to know her and her to meet our animals. She did a great job while we were away and we came back to a clean home and happy animals. We would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable house and animal sitter. Hannah is the best! From the moment I connected with Hannah, she was incredibly efficient and organized. We had two calls before her trip to The Bahamas, allowing us to get to know each other well in advance. I was 100% confident she was the perfect fit for us. She promptly booked her travel, which reassured us of her commitment. During her stay, our dog Lola absolutely adored her. Hannah took her on multiple long walks each day, and I could tell Lola was happy—she didn’t even sulk when we returned! Hannah also handled any household issues with ease, including managing a plumber when we had trouble with the hot water. Despite it being her first time in The Bahamas, she made friends quickly and kept herself busy, which really impressed us. She stayed in our home and drove our car for almost a month, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. I couldn’t recommend Hannah more highly. She was also great with our three goldfish! Without a doubt, a 10/10 for Hannah!

Nana was a great sitter and made sure Norman always had an amazing time. She was a great communicator even before the sit to ensure a smooth experience

Julia, Oliver and baby Ida house-sat for our two dogs, two geese and fourteen hens while we were on a trip to London in May 2023. They were perfect. First of all they're lovely people: a very friendly, practical, down-to-earth couple. They both have loads of experience in hospitality and it shows, as they seem to be able to deal with whatever life throws at them! While we were away, our dog had a fight with our goose, threw up on a woollen bedspread, and several more doggy crimes. We also had intermittent smoke alarms going off for no apparent reason and a flat tyre on the car! They checked with us what to do in each case but they were totally calm, organised and unphased. And they are easygoing parents with baby Ida: she is having such a lovely childhood, learning things together with Mum and Dad who talk to her all the time and let her have experiences (as you have to, out in the country as we are, among animals, twigs, mud, rocks, grass, chicken poo, tennis balls with dog spit on them...). They are obviously enjoying parenthood and Ida is an asset to them! We didn't have any baby equipment either, and even showers rather than a bath, but I think they rather enjoyed bathing her in the sink! Anyway, I can't say enough good things about these two (three). They cooked us fabulous pancakes (Oliver was a chef) and a lovely curry when we got back, too. If you're not sure, go for them. You won't regret it.

We can't recommend Stephanie and Jurgen highly enough. They looked after our two boys over Christmas/New Year 2016/17 and we were thrilled with the result. From being prompt and courteous in replies as we got to know each other, this lovely couple went out of their way to let us meet them a week before our trip started. Needless to say, we had a great feeling meeting them right from the start. During our stay, Stephanie and Jurgen kept in touch, sending regular photos, updates and generally keeping us feeling comfortable that we had left our house, but more importantly our two furry boys in safe hands. With an obvious love of animals, our cats warmed instantly to them and by the time we left we wondered if our cats would even miss us being gone! During our "handover", they both listened carefully and had read every word of our "house manual", which made talking through the important points a breeze. We returned to an immaculate house, happy kitties and smiling faces all round. If you need to take a break and Stephanie and Jurgen have offered to step in, don't hesitate - these guys are exactly what you are looking for for peace of mind and great care. If we get a chance, we will ask them back again!

Thank you Raphaela! Peanut was so happy and relaxed when I got back. It was the second time Raphaela had looked after peanut for me, her organisation, communication and reliability are fantastic. And I reckon peanut would say she gives good cuddles 🥰

Magda looked after my boys (2 cats & a dog) for a long weekend. Communication was excellent and she left my house very clean and tidy. I came home to 3 very happy pets! I would highly recommend Magda & hope that she can sit for us again in the future.

Stella and Kathi were wonderful house sitters. They looked after our dog, Honey, with great care, they are confident and knowledgeable about pets and Honey responded so well to their friendly approach. They were excellent communicators and left our house immaculate. Stella and Kathi kept all of my plants alive over three weeks in the hot Australian summer. I highly recommend them, they are reliable and responsible house sitters, I’d have them to our place again anytime.

5 Stars - Fantastic Repeat Sitter Shawn had already looked after Max for us before, so we knew what an amazing sitter she would be. This time, it was for two weeks, and once again, she exceeded our expectations. Not only did Shawn keep Max happy and well cared for, but she also went the extra mile by tending to the garden, maintaining it beautifully even through some challenging weather. We returned to a content dog and a home in perfect condition, which made our time away so much more relaxing. We can’t recommend Shawn highly enough to anyone seeking a responsible, thoughtful, and caring house sitter. Thank you again, Shawn!

Susanne & Andreas were wonderful house sitters! We usually go on vacation every February so we had searched a long time to find the right people to house sit our cat and two poodles, one of which was a new puppy just a few months old. They took great care to organize everything with us before we left, ensuring they understood the feeding schedules, special needs, concerns about the new dog, and most of all potty training for the new pup. Once we left, they kept in touch on a very frequent basis sending photos, and updates on how everyone was doing! Our older poodle was down in spirits after having lost her best buddy (an older sheltie we had) who passed a few a few week before the house sit. Susanne & Andreas made sure she felt loved, and gave her a ton of affection. We could tell when we got back because Tina gravitated toward Susanne & Andreas even while we had just got back. In terms of the home, we had a lot of snow and a pretty tough winter but they held down the fort. They didn't bother us with any issues and were able to figure things out so were very self sufficient! In terms of cleanliness when we returned the house was spotless, and they had even taken the time to bake us two loaves of lovely fresh bread which we ate up very quickly after such a long trip! Most importantly the new puppy was completely potty trained and has never had an accident since they left! They definitely know what they are doing. All in all, I'd say they were on par with the best of the best in terms of house sitters. We use this website a lot and travel a lot, so we have seen our fair share of house sitters from around the world. Susanne & Andreas definitely were deserving of a 5 star review in all categories and we hope to maybe have them again some day!

Gloria, Thomas and their two children have took great care of our cats and home. There were very friendly, easy to communicate with, tidy, and reliable. We were really pleased to come back to a clean and fresh home and two happy cats. They made sure to follow our house guideline, which was very important to us. We had nothing to worry about during our leave and when we came back home. They even left a little present for our son, some food in the fridge and fresh linen on the beds! In other words: a very lovely and thoughtful family! We had a couple of issues with our home, and some unexpected deliveries that they took care of for us. We really appreciated their help! They sent pictures every other day and were always very responsive. We would definitely recommend them for staying in your home and taking care of your furry friends.
