I really liked Katlyn’s personality she was absolutely wonderful. However, our main intention for having a Housesitter was to look after our cats and help them maintain their routine. I had both an on call meeting a week before the stay and an in person meeting the week of stay to go over how to care for our pets and I mentioned over and over again at every meeting as well as in multiple text messages including a very blatant and bold one on the day we left and it also says on our house manifest and guidelines on zeewoi as well this important info: - the Cats must never be left outside if she was leaving the house because they have no way to get back inside except through the front door that is to be left ajar only while she is home. The cats come home for every meal like clockwork so it’s easy to manage. And they must not be left outside after dinner. The cats must both be inside before she leaves the house for extended periods of time or they must NOT go outside at all if she is about to go anywhere. With that said she let the cats outside one day and then left the house for over 4 hours from 12noon - 4pm and locked the cats outside without access back into the house for water etc. She found them both waiting meowing on the door step when she returned home after 4pm. I respect her honesty completely in that she told me but I just don’t understand how this could happen if the sitter was actually paying attention to any of the information we gave her about the cats care as that was the main reason we let her stay. 2ndly when we returned home today the cat box was completely over full and was obviously never cleaned once during the 6 days we were a way as it was packed with cats feces and the house smelt from it. The garbage was left full and the bedroom was left as if someone just woke up up and left. The rest of the house was perfectly clean the way we left it which was nice. But it kind of felt like someone just stayed in our home for free and didn’t really put the same love and care back in to the place before they left.

Other than knowing our dogs are in great hands and are getting lots of exercise, my favorite part of Elizabeth's stay was that our house was spotless and looked as if no one was ever there. She was very communicative and sent us lots of updates and pictures of our doggies which makes us feel so good when we're away.

Wendy
Wendy and Adam were most welcoming providing us with a delicious meal on our arrival . Their hospitality was warm and inviting. We had the opportunity to chat over wats app prior to our arrival which helped
and coincidentally, we had visited the area last year and it was great to return. We had a comprehensive tour of the house and were introduced to all the feline family. The cats were all very friendly and Wendy was absolutely spot on with her character reference of each. Mickey and Minnie were super cool, preferring to stay on the wall on the hunt. Lola loved the lounge and Mr Betty (beautiful Betty), the kitchen table and last but not least lovely Macey always there ready to greet us on the drive and first thing in the morning. The house is indeed very cosy and full of interesting objects to enjoy. We were given the option to stay in any of two rooms (spoilt for choice)
the shower was fabulous and bed super comfy. Lots of wardrobe space too.
Sadly the weather wasn't brilliant, but, we still had a great time visiting many of the local towns and villages. Even sampled the Michelin star restaurant in the village! Which was superb. Adam was happy for his fishing gear to be used, which Brian took full advantage of and took a day out on the River Vienne . (However the day ticket was a little overpriced at 13E).
Wendy was always just a message away, always helpful at the start of a sit. We would love to see the area again in warmer weather and will indeed be on the look out for future availability. Overall a great experience and thank you Wendy and Adam.
